RP: YSS Eucharis [Mission 4] The Chase

[Wolf Ward]

Following Pineapple out of the building, Hotaru kept pace with her while on the lookout for any fire coming their way. Seeing the Smugglers' Pride starting take-off procedures brought a smile to her face knowing that the Taisa would soon be safe onboard the Eucharis.

 

[Wes]

As Hanako rocketed off into the sky in the stolen ship, the enraged masses of Black-faction troopers tried to get their revenge against Yaichiro, since he had the only easily visible power armor.

Pineapple turned to look back at the horrible sight, instantly seeing that Yaichiro was going to die very shortly. "Taisa, please help him!"

The Taisa swung the freighter around and took control of the starship guns on the underbelly, making a low pass over the battle site, and fired on as many power armors as she could. Bright blasts and smoke filled the air as the freighter flew over, strafing the area.

In the chaos, Pineapple went to grab Yaichiro and drag him to the van. This would be their only chance to evacuate him. "Help me, Hotaru!"

 

[Wolf Ward]

Hearing Pineapple's shout, Hotaru dashed over to them and grabbing hold of the arms, helped Pineapple get him into the van. Trying not to draw attention to themselves, she looked around for the driver. Not seeing one, Hotaru started to head to the driver's door.

 

[Wes]

Bullets began to strike near the van, zipping through the smoke as it began to clear.

"Kim! Move your ass or get left!" Pineapple called over the radio. They had to get out now.

 

[Toshiro]

Yaichiro realized he only had a stump left, and winced in pain. Still, until the Taisa or Mistress Shosa gave an order, he was the ranking officer.

"Kurosora-Hei...get out of there, ASAP...failing that, use the Thunderbolt to get out of here...one of you girls...get to Hanako-Taisa. If the Nepleslians fire on that ship...she'll need someone with a Teleport Pack to get her to Eucharis safely..."

 

[Kimberly M]

"Roger." Was all Kim replied with as she targeted the Taisa's ship with the Teleport Pack, and activating the said device, she teleported into the ship, to provide the Taisa with an escape route if the ship was fired upon like Kage-shosa feared.

 

[Wes]

Hanako rocketed off into space and set course for Pisces Station, signaling Eucharis to meet her there.

Down below, Pineapple grinned and turned to Hotaru. "Step on it!"

 

[Toshiro]

Yaichiro groaned loudly, trying not to pass out from the combination of pain and blood loss.

"...If your shuttle isn't around...we can take the Thunderbolt...it's at the Spaceport..."

 

[Wolf Ward]

"Yes! Here we go!" Hotaru replied with a grin. "Time to see what this bucket of bolts can do!", as she finished speaking Hotaru was accelerating away from the immediate area as fast as possible.

Keeping a glance out for any pursuers, Hotaru asked Pineapple "Which ship are we heading to? Our shuttle or the Shosa's ship?".

 

[Wes]

"The shuttle," Pineapple said. It was closer and had stealth.

 

[Wolf Ward]

"Got it," replied Hotaru while mentally reviewing the directions back to the shuttle while keeping her foot down.

"How are we faring back there? Any sign of pursuit?" asked Hotaru.

 

[Wes]

"Actually, I think we're home free!"

Meanwhile, back at the parking lot, the IPG showed up. "Alright...where is she?" a gray-coated agent demanded.

By then the Eucharis was already crossing the border.
