Ramiro quickly scanned back over the map a second time when he saw what the Taisa was talking about. "Sorry ma'am, I misunderstood your directions. Also the unknown on the ground has not responded back on the radio frequency so potential for hostility is currently not known." He quickly plotted in the course and once again put the ship on standby. Once everything was set he pulled up the information Nika had referred to on his screen.

"I'm the only one here...", the man in the black armor explained as he drifted down to the ground in front of the freighter.

"...I can't make orbit alone..." he continued as he reached the ground. There was a faint buzz over the armors radio signal, it seemed to be related somehow to the stand storm brewing in the area.

Misaki joined him, though remained floating ahead of him for that moment. "Once we get you into medi-bay we're all going into decontamination. The C/O seems to know you from an old ship, Tasku-san? Please stand by to get on the shuttle. There's been a nasty SMX infection going around, so we're going to keep you under arms until we've checked you out, understood? Standard procedure."

Misaki set on the ground, then indicated a landing zone behind her for the shuttle to land, and forwarded it to both the Golden Apple and the other officer on site.

"Hamada Taii, subject reports he is the only survivor. He's ready to move on board at your leisure, though another scan is advisable to ensure there really is no one else." Kurusu reopened her channel to the man, afterward.

"I'm impressed with your adaptability. We'll bring the shuttle closer, and you can get on board once our team here is ready to escort you in. So, what ship were you with when you crashed?" It was a test, but she wanted to make sure it wasn't a very elaborate trap. He would know that much, even rattled. The officer knew in her heart how attached someone could become to their assigned ship, and imagined moreso if it was their only shelter and companion for a long, long time. "Don't worry. We'll be out of here as soon as possible." Her voice added as warmly as possible.

"I was assigned to Goban; but this ship isn't the Goban. This ship was here when I arrived. I was left here by some unfriendly Nekovalkyrja our ship ran into." Tasuku explained as he waited for the Golden Apple

Pineapple lowered the shuttle, bringing it close to Tasuku. "Looks like you could use a ride and some fresh food," she sent him. "Anything in the ship down there you want us to grab before we head back to the Eucharis?"

"Nothing critical on-board, just need to shut the site down," Tasuku said as he sent a radio pulse to the Antenna on the ridge, shutting it down and the minor power signature from the freighter.

Sune made his preparations for the return of the away team. He prepared the containment rooms to hold whatever individuals were brought back from the surface until they could be examined and treated as necessary. He checked out an AMES to use as a decontamination suit for him to wear when the team returned. At least the officers who went down will be easy to clear. The scanner nanomachines in their bodies would let him know if anything had changed. Which would allow them to readily return to their stations.

He started thinking about Raia and her family on the Bouken. What would become of them? He did not have all the details, but if the Taisho said that biological weapons were being used, it could only mean war. Raia and her family and countless others in the Empire were all in danger. It was a danger that somehow he had to due his part to eliminate. Internally Sune could feel his personal paradigms shifting again. Dormant subroutines in his mind started to activate. The last time this happened to Sune he was aboard the Bouken. The trigger then was seeing his first Star Army vessel. Sune could tell that the trigger was the current situation. The things started to click in his mind. Another progression in his personality was taking place.

"Alright. You can get in the shuttle any time now," Pineapple prompted Tasuku, knowing the captain was waiting.

Tasuku deactivated his power armor shielding and entered the waiting T4,
"I'm ready to go, I've had more than enough time here" he said as he leaned back against the inner wall of the Golden Apple.

"Miyazawa-Hei," Shizu put out over the com. network, "Run the appropriate tests on the subject. I don't want him bringing anything aboardship that would be detrimental to the crew."

With that, Shizu touched down in the shuttle and stepped to the side to allow the others to board. Although she was relaxed at this point, there were still procedures that had to be followed, and she kept her rifle up in a standing ready in case the worst were possible.

"Blueberry-Juni, if sensors can penetrate that hull, can we double-check the nomenclature on that downed ship, and run a confirmation that it is now completely powered down?"

"It is all quiet down there," Blueberry responded, before joining Tasuku in the shuttle.

Now that Tasuku was aboard, Pineapple waited a few seconds for any of the team outside who wanted a ride, and then closed the shuttle's door and darted back up through the thick, funky atmosphere and into the space above, where Eucharis' red and blue-gray form waited.

In a minute, the shuttle was idling on the polished floor of Eucharis' tiny shuttlebay, crammed up next to the larger shuttle Telemachus.

On the bridge, Hanako mentally texted both medics to make sure Tasuku had a checkup as soon as possible.

"Ramiro, charge the main cannon and the hyperspace fold drive. We want to arrive ready to fire."

"Welcome aboard the Eucharis." Misaki nodded slightly from her MINDY, sitting across from Tasaku. It was better she let Shizu take care of the mop up planet side, and he had needed an escort. "Let's get to the decon and then the medical bay."

War, we're going to war. The enemy she had fought so bitterly was back. The Chusa was in the right place to fight them, and while she'd wished they'd never come back, she knew being by Hanako and the rest of the squadron was the best possible thing to do. Once they cleared decon, she'd put her MINDY back on and go to the bridge.

Hanako, I'm back on board. Headed to decon with the survivor.

"Sune-hei, we've arrived." She sent, standing up inside the shuttle.

Sune had donned his AMES, and verified that the medbay was prepared to receive the survivor. Everything is ready here, time to go and meet the landing party he thought. He checked his NSP 30 and placed it in his holster, slung his medkit over his shoulder he went to meet the Chusa and the rescued individual when they completed decon.

When Sune arrived outside the decon area he put the helmet on. He keyed the suit mic. "Kurusu-Chusa, Jalen-Hei here I am waiting outside the decon area to escort the survivor back to medical for examination once you complete decon."

Ramiro silently monitored comm traffic. When the Taisa addressed him he jumped from surprise at the broken silence. "Yes ma'am! Irenika-hei, weapons." As the coordinates were already punched in and the ship on standby Ramiro just hit a button or two and the hyperspace fold drive charged.

"Main cannon charging. Alternating power for shields to it. We should be fully charged when we get out of hyperspace." Nika announced as Ramiro sent the ship into hyperspace....

Tasuku made his way naturally into the Armor bay, the interior of the Eucharis didn't seem particularly unfamiliar to him. Stopping next to a rack, he pressed a couple controls on his forearm and then at the base of his helmet, with a slight hiss of air he removed the power armors helmet.

Tasuku breathed in deeply, and shook his loose black hair in the refreshing cool air of the Eucharis as he exhaled. A few seconds later he emerged from the power armor wearing a red paneled type 22 uniform, on the sleeve was a YSS Sakura patch, nearly identical to the one worn by Hanako. From a small container on the power amor he retrieved a 3rd Expeditionary fleet Nitô Hei badge.

Junko barely glanced at the newcomer as she exited the shuttle. She did notice that he had red panels on his uniform; another engineer would be welcome indeed. But for the moment, as she began the decontamination process, she was still entirely too frustrated to do more than notice. It almost seemed worse to her now: they had launched knowing that there was an unknown on the surface but because nobody had mentioned this to her ahead of time she had almost fired upon the strange armor until she noticed that the new Chusa appeared to be talking to it. Finished with decontamination and back in uniform, she bustled back to engineering without a word to anyone. Pausing for a moment, back in the Mainspace, to take a deep, calming breath Junko readied herself and stepped over to the main console. "Bridge, Engineering," she said as she looked over the status changes since she had left. "This is Takeda, reporting that I am back at my post."
