Hanako seemed satisfied. "I will accept both of you into my crew."

She stood up. "We should celebrate."

Some wine sounded excellent right now.

Takeyu bowed. "Thank you ma'am," he said and lifted his head. He glanced over at Oski and a small hint of a smile crept across his face. He was a bit uncomfortable with the hei but decided not to let it bother him for the time being.

Now he had another thing to worry about, meeting the crew and getting to know them.

Hanako gave a respectful nod to Takeyu and Oski and led the way back out of the ship, across the gangway, and to the station's wardroom where they found Ramiro and Sune.

The Taisa gave a quiet "hello," and helped herself to a new bottle of red wine, carefully popping the cork out and pouring the stuff into an obese-looking wineglass.

Upon seeing the Taisa enter the wardroom Sune considered quickly rising to attention and calling the room to order. But upon seeing Hanako pour herself a rather large glass of wine, and her manner of dress. Sune figured that the Taisa was here to relax. Still his training required him to at least sit up a bit straighter and address her. "Greetings Taisa, we were uncertain what kind of arrangements you were intending so we were just sitting here chatting. Please join us if you wish."

Takeyu gave a curt nod of his head toward Sune and Ramiro. He wasn't sure what to make of the atmosphere right now, so he stood there for a moment and watched the Taisa before turning toward one of the two. He wasn't sure who was who, so he just asked.

"May I join you please?" he asked politely.

Oski drifted behind the other two, letting out a peaceful sigh. He jerked to a stop momentarily in his pursuit to remove the jade contact lens from his eye. The time for total composure had relaxed. Replacing it beside its cousin in the case, Oski swept it back into his pocket and jogged to catch up to the others. Bowing his head to the others seted at the table, he followed up on Takeyu's request. "Mind if I impose as well?"

Regardless of where he ended up sitting, Oski would at least indulge in a drink. He couldn't enjoy it quite as much as he used to; he needed to preserve his sense of taste. Nevertheless, the occasion at least merited a glass of red wine. Supposedly it was good for the heart, but in an age of genetic design, it wasn't as though heart disease was commonplace. He raised his glass to the others and gave a bright, "Cheers."

"Thank you," the cerulean-haired captain quietly conveyed, calmly curling on a comfortable couch's cobalt colored cushions, cradling her cup whilst carefully consuming its crimson contents. "Cheers!" she smiled.

Ramiro smiled and shook his head as the Taisa walked in. Just like her, she's been in the room for barely a minute and she already has alcohol in her hand. He tilted his head slightly back and said, "Taisa, do you have any specific plans for us, or are we free to roam as we choose?"

Takeyu took a sip of his wine, something he never really indulged in or had much of. "Ughs... never had wine before," he said softly to himself and knew that it was an aquired taste.

He twirled the constants of the glass around as he sat there in thought; his dark green eyes looking toward the Taisa.

"You are free to roam the station..." Hanako told Ramiro. "...if you do not care to stay to with the rest of the crew. Her eyes narrowed slightly with a hint of suspicion. What is he thinking? "If you plan to return to the ship, be sure to stay out of the engineers' way," she reminded him.

Back on the ship, teams of Nekovalkyrja in red jumpsuits were hurriedly going through the ship with a seventy-five-thousand-item checklist, verifying the correct operation of each replacement part as they were installed.

"Well I'm not about to replace myself, so I think I'll be keeping this body.. But maybe I can be 'building material for houses'.." Tasuku said echoing Konoka.

"I think its time for me to see whats new in Nepleslian cybernetics..", he said pulling out his datapad.

Takeyu listened, taking a sip from his glass he looked up at the ceiling. "If I may ask, just how many times has the Eucharis come back in the condition she's in now?" he asked. "I'm... just curious..." he quickly added to ward-off any suspicion.

Sune eyed the approaching brown haired Yamataian. Easily noticing that the individual was wearing the red panels of a technician. Must be one of our replacements, I wonder how long he will last. he thought.

Shifting his position in his chair he answered Takeyu. "I can not speak for the entire service history of the Eucharis, but I have seen her return on three separate times, and each time she required extensive repairs." Sune paused for a moment to consider his next words especially with the Taisa present. "But then the Eucharis is a warship, so naturally that entails putting ourselves in harms way to protect the Empire."

Sune took a sip of his wine, "Perhaps we should take care of amenities, I am Jalen Sune-Ittô Heisho, Science Specialist. And you are?"

"Just wondering," Ramiro told the Taisa. He slouched back in his chair, trying to get comfortable. When Takeyu shot out the question about the ship's damage history Ramiro started to answer, but Sune beat him to the punch. He waited for Sune to finish and then added, "But don't worry, you're in good hands. We have some amazing engineers, Nika is terrific at weapons. Not to mention we have the best starship operator in the empire." Ramiro stretched his legs out and rested his hands behind his head.

Takeyu smiled. "Nayacesen Takeyu, Santô Hei, Technician. Nice to meet you," he said and gave Sune a curteous bow of his head, he wasn't used to introduction.

Though, to come back heavily damaged as they are those few times must speak for the versatility of the ship. Though I really should look into its design and engineering specifications at some point to see if there is anything that could be improved upon, after all, some of the greatest improvements to ships don't always come from the makers themselves... but from those who serve on it, he thought about what Sune had said and something bothered him about it.

"This ship can do so much more than you are doing with her, Ramiro," said Hanako. "The reason we were so badly damaged this time is because we were not evading the incoming fire, and because we were not an advantageous range. I want to get together with you sometime for some piloting training. One day I want you really to be the Star Army's best starship operator."

Looking to Takeyu, she noted, "Eucharis gets the Empire's most dangerous missions because we have a good record of succeeding even with limited resources...we have earned the Empire's confidence and trust. We should work hard not to lose it."

Takeyu raised his glass. "In that case, I'm glad to be on board. I'll make certain she stays in tip-top shape for any mission we go on, and any punishment we plan on taking," he then took a sip from his glass.

Though how much longer must this war go on... he wondered...

After receiving the text from the Taisa about the escape pods in the cargo bay, Mikael just frowned a bit. "Escape Pods??? I don't recall us taking on escape pods.." thinking to himself. He just shrug and took one last look at the park before he turned and quickly made his way back to his cabin. After dodging and weaving though the repair crews, he once again donned his AMES. "No point in taking chances now..." he thought to himself.

Making a few last minute changes and then strike a pose in the mirror in the privacy of his own cabin, he made his way to the cargo bay. Once he was in there, he made his way to an equipment locker, not really looking to see what was in the bay. He was focused on thinking what could pry them open if the pod's systems were down.

Oski listened to the exchanges intently, quietly sipping at his wine. It would seem Ramiro had an 'Ace' complex about him, which would have to be substantiated or not once they were back in combat again. Sune looked to be very much in the same mindset as himself, but that wasn't surprising given the analytical viewpoint of their respective careers.

Hanako's comment about limited resources sent a small wave of fiery tantalization through Oski. "The crew must be very dynamic to hold such a reputation aloft." His fingers drummed over the rim of the glass, contemplating the human mechanics that made a crew like that work. "I'm eager to see it in action."

Ramiro blushed at the Taisa's response, slightly embarrassed. "Sorry Taisa, and yes Taisa, training would be beneficial." He went to take a sip of his wine which, as he was disappointed to discover, had no wine left. He sighed and began to look around the room, trying to find an attendant that happened to have a bottle of wine. When Ramiro spotted one he waved the woman over and had her fill his glass. Once it was filled he happily took a sip from the glass. "Aah, that's some good wine."
