Well, what species are the workers and owners? That would probably help tell us where they came from.
Do we want to say they're originally from Nepleslia, then?
If they're Nepleslian (species), I would like clarification for Nashoba's question. Are they a Nepleslian (faction) company that is regulated by the Nep government? Or are they listed under a different faction?A company can, but it has to be based in a faction, and that government oversees its operation.
How would they get Kamakiri there? They exist on one planet and being studied by the Scientific Studies Service.
The only Kamakiri that would be out and about would be a drone. However, drones have very little initiative, they perform a task and wait for new instructions. They depend on the regent for instructions. The best someone could to is keep it sort of as a watch dog or a protector.
James, if I may be blunt, would you be willing to put this on hold for the time being? I think it would do you good to take part in the setting as a player for a while, then come back to this once you're more familiar with everything. As it is now, we'll spend weeks working it out bit by bit, and I honestly don't know if the result will be what you want. Take part in the universe, get more familiar with the factions and setting in general, and take another look at this once you've settled in a bit.
Recon wouldn't really work since it can't speak.Yep....it was the owner who bought it, and hes usin it as bodyguard, and also some kinda recon
Make your character first. Not his toys....i actually was gonna set my character's weapon as one of this plant's weapons.....but okay
What are we going to see in terms of products? Clones of Russian guns? Because we have plenty of those. All of which are manufactured in Nepleslia by established companies.
So what market is this intended to cater to? You won't get the Nepleslian military because we already have an AK clone and if that isn't good enough, Zen has a higher powered rifle of similar aesthetics.
From an IC standpoint, setting up in E-5 means you will not be tapping Nepleslia, the largest gun market in the setting. Two reasons. (1) The distance makes prices more expensive in Nepleslia and (2) Nepleslians don't really use "foreign" guns. Not when they can get NAM, Zen, or Styrling pieces easily on the street and NAM's military grade stuff on the black market.
So yes, you can end up with a Russian-esque gun company but what is its point beyond simply "I want it cos I like it"? Without a purpose, it becomes one of the many companies submitted, approved, and then left unused.
Make your character first. Not his toys.

No. I see no reason for deletion yet. Only to put it on hold.
As Aendri said, you should get experience of the setting from playing in plots first. Your inexperience and unfamiliarity with the setting is showing in the submission. That's neither here nor there since it's a natural phase when one is new to any setting. It just means the mistakes are obvious. With more information under your belt, you can refine the concept more clearly to make "your own" rather than a blatant copy of an existing company (which would have legal issues as others implied). Further, once you have a sense of the setting, you can find the customers to target and create the products you want without outside help. Rushing into something like this does not result in a better submission.
Learn about the characters and creatures in this setting before making the means to kill them.
And if you want to weapons with Russian AK aesthetics, the Nepleslian Marines are the only place where its standard issue.
WWII era guns have even less purpose. They were replaced for a reason, and we're centuries beyond the weapons they replaced. It just doesn't make sense to focus on those weapons. Keep the submission around, but just work on the character and take part in the setting for now. If you still want to add the gun and company later, you can. Characters should be unique because of who they are as a character, not just because they have a specific gun.
