RP: NSS Alliance [[NSS Alliance]] In the Wake of the Storm

Autumn grinned up at Ian, though she looked a little surprised when he groped her. "Whatwould Idowith metalspidersthough? Besidesscare peoplewithem? Woulntitbe moreusefulwith somethinglikebullets? Whatarewe supposedto doafterthisdebriefing? Icouldgo formoreofthat yummypie! Maybethecaretakers madesomecake! Nicebigyummy chocolatecake withcreamcheesefrosting!!"

"Oh fuck...my goddamn eyes." Ran's arrival into the multipurpose room was heralded by the lemony smell of floor cleaner and cigarettes, the last two of which were currently in his mouth, serving their purpose of calming the angry Cadet down. "I swear, I will never forgive any caretaker for what they di-GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY." Ran kicked a caretaker to the side, ignoring the several others that came to restrain the offended caretaker.

"'Kay." And with that, using one hand, Adrian pocketed the small cybernetic, and then held the eye he wished to remove open, and with the other, stabbed the scalpel in.

"Augh... gah... AGGH!" A rather large quantity of blood, followed shortly by a number of tears, quickly began to flow from the eye as the sharp metal object headed further in, set on pulling the fleshy object out. However, Adrian's body took offense to this, and his heavily clenched jaw, shaking hand, and tear-filled left eye betrayed this quite clearly.

===========================

"Well, we're in the army. What else would you need an arm to do?" Inquired Ian of the heavily-drugged up armorer. "And, I think you've had enough pie for a little bit. We wouldn't want that little heart of yours to stop, would we?"

"Dontsomeof theguysuse theirstowatchporn?" The armorer replied brightly back. "Awwbut thepiewas thepiewasyummy! CouldIhave a nice, thick milkshake then?" Autumn beamed as she managed to slow her speech down for at least a few moments. "Do your 'netics doanything elsebesides theusual?"

Gran watched Kagura test out her arm, hoping that everything would work fine. That's not to say he didn't trust his own repairs, but her arm was banged up pretty bad. He smiled again as she patted his shoulder, even though he almost felt like a five-year-old who just got congratulated for coloring inside the lines.

"No problem. And let me know if it starts acting up again before we get a chance to replace it, I'll whip it into shape." Gran said, wagging his forceps as Kagura's metallic appendage.

"Y-You dumb-... Argh!" Kokuten lunged forward at Adrian, jabbing the injector with painkiller in the other Medic's arm. He quickly shot his hand to the scalpel, attempting perform proper move to remove the eye.

She'd nod to Gran when he spoke his piece. "I'll do just that if it starts acting up again." Kagura said to him. "Thanks for the help though, I really do appreciate it."

Harrison was rubbing his temples so hard that he swore he would pop a blood vessel and spurt blood all over the people sitting next to him. he was becoming irked at Autumn's drugged performance, and quickly.

"Could someone please use a sedative or some kind of calming drug or something here?" He plugged his hears and put his head down, trying to dull the never-ending torrent of words that pounded his eardrums.

Kagura glanced over, hearing Autumn's hyperactive rambling then the complaint. "No, if she's this jazzed up it's best we let it burn out; if we mess with her with a sedative it could have unforeseen consequences." she said.

Gyles rubbed his eyes by reaching below his visor and looked at Harrison and Kagura. "The best you can do is drown it out with something louder, or shut her up with some more interesting than talking. Good luck with either." He said half-smirking, as moved to turn up his music to drown-out levels.

Autumn looked at Harrison oddly and stuck her tongue out at him from her secure position against Ian's side under his arm- the large Cadet was ,after all, holding her still. "It.is.not.my.fault. my.arm.had.to.get.amputated. It'snot likeI took a handful ofstims justfor the lulz."

Trey, hearing the bit of uproar, overheard Autumn's words and answered "Though I wouldn't put it past you. Oh, how goes the new arm? I think mine would just regrow itself.. at least that's what someone told me" Trey said, becoming lost in his own words, a quizzical expression on his face. I wonder if it would hurt to regrow an arm he thought, behind his puzzled exterior.

"....Youhonestly thinkI amadrug addict," Autumn looked greatly perplexed by this comment and then as looked like Trey's comment might have hurt her feelings she laughed brightly. "Youthand energyis nota signof stimulantuse." She grinned at him and fidgeted under Ian's hold again.

Gyles lowered his music and laughed quietly. "Autumn, Trey was probably just making an off-hand joke. Most people are really fucking hyper when they're hopped up on stims." He added, tracing back and forth from the bridge of his nose up to his forehead with his rather cold index finger. "Hell, I'd know..." He said, grinning quite widely.

"Imnot offended.I justamhaving a hardtime slowingdown. Iannnnnnisn't lettingme move orwiiiinnnnn," Autumn jokingly whined from under the ID-Sol's arm as she replied back to Gyles. "Oh? Youtook stimsfor thelulz? Iwonder whythedebriefing hasntstarted yet?"

"Our dear officers are taking their bloody sweet time, and we're all a bit early. Go figure." Gyles said rather wryly, checking the time on his visor. "And yeah, I took em' for faster response time once or twice, but it was never worth it. Stims are good solution, unless you make them your problem." He said, reclining in his chair and spreading his arms out to the vacant seats next to him.

"Of course, some guys just freak out on stims and plow into a wall." Gyles said half-laughing. "Never liked those types of racers."

Kagura sighed a bit, listening to what Autumn was saying at a mile a minute and jsut sweatdropped for a moment. In a moment she glanced to Ian and looked at him and sighed. "Hey Ian, can you PLEASE put something in her mouth to keep her quiet for a bit?" she asked, rubbing her temple.

During the last part of the Banning's journey, while she had finished helping Pavel with the math part of overloading a freighter's engines, Tweak had noticed the book attached by a harness to her leg and started flipping through it.

Epiphanies and general revelations resulted.

By the time they arrived at the Alliance, Tweak knew where she had been, what she was doing (sort of...), and where and why she was going. While the journal and its notes had no mention of anything she had done or anyone she had met after George and Lenny had interrupted her note-taking in her quarters on the Banning, all in all, she was not as lost as she had been. But she did quickly add in what had happened since she woke up, in case she should lack the time to enter that information later.

When she disembarked, Tweak stood in the corridor with her bag over one shoulder and her bandanna/kerchief/rag over her ears and without a clue where she was supposed to go. She was supposed to work here, supposedly, but who was she supposed to talk to about it?

Ian squeezed Autumn tighter. "Shut the fuck up, all of you. Autumn's fine." He then looked around confused. "Wait... what the fuck... when the hell did you all get here?!" The cadet leaned back in his seat, stroking the girl's hair. "I stop paying attention for one minute, and thirty people show up. I must be getting soft..."

========================

Adrian stumbled backwards to dodge Kokuten's lunge, yelling profanity, and pulling the very bloody scalpel from his eye. He tripped and fell on his rear, dropping the scalpel to make sure he wouldn't accidentally stab himself. "Fuck, Kokuten! Are you trying to kill me?! You could've pushed that thing into my brain!" A great deal of blood was gathering between his lips, and he spit to clear some of it, a steady stream still rushing from his ruined eye.

The medic stood shakily, and sat on one of the medbay tables, breathing heavily and wincing in pain. "Alright, NOW how about we try getting the damn thing out."

Autumn started giggling uncontrollably as Ian yelled at the other Marines. She made a squeaking noise as she was hugged tightly and she promptly turned down the volume on her voice box to not disturb anyone else. She covered her mouth with her right hand and gave Trey a thumbs up with her new, but temporary, left hand in response to his inquiry about her arm.
