  • We voted (88% approval) to keep the same IC/OOC month calendar for YE 47/2025 as we used for this year.
  • Andrew is trying to get Hinomaru Sunrises rolling so please join him for some RP if you can.
Forum Updates
  • Andrew has been restored to his previous roles as he has come out of retirement
  • It's proposed that he NSFW group should require 50 posts to request access - See poll on the announcements channel on Discord (closes in 24h as of this post)
Wiki Plans & Updates
  • We've got 13,936 pages and 15,501 media files on the wiki! 14k soon!
  • I wasn't able to get "Log in with Star Army" working for the wiki so I've disabled it for now.
    We may have to get some sort of plugin to authenticate on the wiki using the forum login.

Updates:
  • 71% of Star Army members surveyed in a poll voted to require that members have 50 post before they can request access to the NSFW user group, therefore this will be the guideline for that going forward.
 
Discord Updates:
  • Added a channel #promote for self-promotion!
    • 93% of members voted to add this channel
    • Active Star Army members can this channel to share personal projects like Twitch Streams, Youtube videos, and social media.
    • Please support each other!

  • Channels for Worldbuilding, Yamatai, Nepleslia, NDC, and Other Factions are now visible to non-verified Discord server members
    • This change was based on your votes
 
Forum Updates:
  • Nepleslia's forum has been restored to the top level of the forum due to ongoing RP. Go Nepleslia!
  • Added thread prefixes:
    • RP: Battlegroup Warden
    • RP: Blackguard
  • Consider making a Nepleslian character for next month, which is NEPVEMBER!
Wiki Updates:
  • After being pushed back several times, we finally removed all the old abandoned WIPs made in 2023 or earlier
  • A zip file containing these is attached to this post.

Policy Update 2024OCT13 Concerning Wiki Media Organization

When there are multiple characters sharing a family name or clan, that clan can have a clan media namespace, and then character namespaces under it with their given names, for example, instead of
  • characters:yamatai:sakura_blackberry:
  • characters:yamatai:sakura_blueberry:
  • characters:yamatai:sakura_cherry:
It is now my preference for
  • characters:yamatai:sakura:blackberry:
  • characters:yamatai:sakura:blueberry:
  • characters:yamatai:sakura:cherry:
And random Sakura people with like 1 artwork can go in characters:yamatai:sakura: until they need a subfolder

This should keep the characters:yamatai folder more organized.
