Sorry in taking so long to reply Cadet. Oh and imagine the dialect like an Osakan, country type. She speaks proper to officers and when necessary but shifts when addressing other non-officer types. Yes I know smoking is looked down upon as a taboo on Yamatai and nekos are highly discouraged from it but those guilty pleasures are ever so much more enjoyable.

I'm going for a more mild version of the Brooklyn Accent here. I thought it'd be an interesting contrast to have a city accent against a country one.

1: Nepleslian = Treade and minimally every member of Yam-army speaks Nepleslian I think. It is hould be in basic comm-skill.

2: Anime-watching-skills engage! Don't know if you know about this Nyton, but I saw it few times. It is just little things, but rural people from Japan tends to use -han instead of -san so you might wanna do so too. Just a thought.

But what if others speak in Yamataian? Evelyn doesn't know it all. I suppose I'll just pick random moments when she goes "Wut?" over something yamataians/neko say around her.

Oh shoot that's right. Sorry I forgot to differentiate. So yeah the Yamataian is formal but the Trade has the accent. I need to specify and edit that.

Yeah, multi-species crew, but it's already dominated by Yamataians and Nekovalkyrja just because it's a YSS ship. Yamatai princess, Yamatai Samurai, Temp Yamataian captain, Yamataian ship... Evelyn and any Nepleslians/Others will be the exceptions.
