NDS-Raven

Ven stood on the flight deck of the NDS Raven. Intelligence had identified, Ven had no idea how, a vulnerable node on one of the planets. The mission timing had to be exact, but if it was successful, the New Dusk Conclave could walk away with a treasure trove. However, the Essai would be destroying the planet at almost the same time as the escape. Ven had volunteered to take the necessary risks, freshly backed up. For now, she stood in her armor and looked out at the assembling fleet. She wondered if her 'sister' Sacre was somewhere out there. She knew Sacre was still in the military, and Sassinia was a bounty hunter in Nepleslia. If she had been hired to participate, it would be the first time all three of them had been working together for once. Hatred burned in her heart for both of them. Perhaps she would get lucky and manage to 'accidentally' kill one of them.

YSS Battle of Yamatai

Yui was very happy with seeing the fleets of the known sector all coming together to fight as one. The mission was still taking a huge risk, but it felt as if they were nearly unstoppable when finally together. It made her think of how much better things would be if they could do this more often for smaller missions. Yui in that moment resolved to do better at building relationships between the factions of the Kikyo Sector. She would have to apologize for calling that Nepleslian a coward and move on from there. With thoughtful look, she slowly walked around the bridge, stopping to rub her chin from time to time. After waiting a while for ships to finish arriving, she started the operation.

"Signal all ships to enter the outskirts of the Scrapyyard system, eliminate all threats, and have the Rikugun retake the Sakura Fleet Depot. Reclaim this system for Yamatai. As that is happening, let's request that the Kuvexians of the KMS surrender. Worth a try."

YSS Densetsu

On the flag bridge of the Seventh Fleet, Fletcher took in Yui's command silently. Then he started gesturing at the holographic display with purpose. "Communications: Acknowledge the order. White Hammer: Begin an assault on that massive space station. Seijou and Chikara: Provide flanking for White Hammer. This is the first part of the battle we've been waiting for, let's not mess it up."

Hotaru Star Fortress

Shosho Keiko Bryant commanded the whole division that the massive mobile fortification was the heartbeat of. "We are taking Sectors nine through fifteen first, we need to disrupt their communication satellites. Assign Tamashi and Quaestor Squadrons to take them, we'd prefer them mostly intact. Saisei will..."

YSS Ranger

Sacre and Sanssinia stood in the Armor bay of the ranger. Captain Mallory had somehow shanghaied Sanssinia who was normally in Neplesia for this one mission. The two of them knew the details, but for whatever reason weren't telling anyone else. What was left of Black Wolf had been given TDY on the Ranger also likely because of the wily Captain.

The time apart had separated the two. They were certainly greatly similar, Sacre and Sanssinia slid together across the same across the deck, they talked the same, they gave disdainful glares the same, the same beautiful resting bitch face. The only thing that wasn't the same was the rank insignia. Sacre was a Warrent Officer, going through medical school. Sanssinia was still an enlisted Joto Hei. Yet Sanssinia was somehow harder than Sacre. Whereas Sacre had Gravity and friends of her own, Sanssinia sounded like she didn't.

"Your Irritating Technological Tumor is doing it again," Sanssinia commented, annoyed at something Aten had said.

"Yeah, so what if I am you dried up loveless has been?" Aten teased back.

"If my technological tumor and my loveless has been of a sister will both close their pie holes for thirty seconds, I can explain what we're doing here." Aten detected the ever so slight difference between how Sacre talked about them and how Sanssinia said the same words. There was a short pause and Sacre continued. "We are being deployed into the scrapyard system. The Ranger has been assigned with taking and securing a small communications satellite in the Scrapyard system. We'll deploy from the Ranger and use explosives to blow the airlock. We will defeat the resistance inside, no more than a couple of technicians likely, Aten will then take control of the computer systems. They know we're coming, but we might still be able to get some useful data from them. Understand?"

The team nodded, "Great, let's get to it." Sacre finished.

Kyoto-class Carrier "YSS Presurgence"

Cheilith grinned back at the ant-like alien, "I'm going for the powered armor too. Get right in the thick of things. There is this big aether sword I've been wanting to use. I saw this one vid where Kasumi Yamamoto used one to cut a Kuvexian fighter in half. It was soo cool. I'd like to see if I could do that. And that one's going to catch it all aren't you?" She said waving to Kozakura, although Cheilith had no idea who she was other than a Journalist.

"Captain, receiving orders from Sato-Taisa. Huh?" Guthrie Hei said before stopping like a disappointed father catching their daughter taking a cookie. He just slumped down in his seat.

"We haven't all day Mister Guthrie."

"Right, sorry ma'am.

Fragmentary Order (FRAGO)
1. Task Force M, is hereby ordered to establish beachheads for the 32nd Army. Objective: Retake Sakura Fleet Depot
2. Task Force 501 is tasked to provide orbital and close air support." Guthrie read out loud.

Everyone involved had personally been sent a copy of the FRAGO, but Mizuki made it a point to have everything read this way on her bridges. She was just old fashioned in that way and wanted to make sure everyone actually hears them. "I suppose we will not be stalking our prey in their own space. What a pity." Mizuki finally said after the order was read. Mikael just smirked and laughed a bit.

"It's likely for the better Captain. We understand the terrain, weather, and other potential force multipliers compared to those Machine Worlds. The blue skins won't know what hit them." Mikael boasted, not able to suppress his excitement for combat.

"My someone is excited. You best head down and prepare your SOFTs."

Mikael his head to her since she was right. His task force commander was making use of his cabin as a command center for the operation, so he didn't have much choice of places to go besides the bridge. Helps to have old friends become ship commanders and the positional access. Donning his helmet, he made his way out of the bridge and down to the power armor bay.

The ship's XO just shook his head in jealousy. He then looked to the rest of the bridge crew. "Signal Condition 1! All hands to your battle stations! Harrison-Shoi, prepare to run clear and silent." he barked out once the Giretsu was out of the bridge. Running "Clear and Silent" was a term the Task Force used to describe balancing the CFS for stealth as they can use the scalar generators to simulate protons of sensors.

YSS Yukikaze Power Armor Bay

A few moments later, Mikael made his way in and wasted no time. "Alright, listen up! I am sure you all have received the latest FRAGO. We are going to be knocking Kuvexian heads closer to home. Each of your team's objectives will be assigned in a few moments. I will remind you, you are not currently organized as a century as of this moment.

Each of you will have your own assignments that may or may not allow ease getting support. So pay attention to the bigger picture and remember your small-unit training. No f--king heroics, glory will still come to those that place the mission before glory.

Are there any questions before this briefing gets underway?"

一期一会 "One Life, One Encounter"

Katsuko smirked at Eri's comment, she shifted in her stance briefly, and then when the second-order was received from Taisho Yui, she lowered herself fully into the command chair, "They eat pizza, and we get filled victory," she said in reply to Eri. Katsuko sorted out Legacy Squadron, with the YSS Sakura II in the lead, the group of Plumeria's separated from the formation, along with a group of three Fuji-Class Expeditionary Gunships and headed in formation to advance ahead of the rest of the fleet into the Scrapyard system to face the occupying Kuvexian ships. The remainder of their force continued to hold formation around the Tokyo, which let Legacy Squadron and their other attached ships serve as hunters ahead of them.

Burning trails of Turbo Aether Plasma discharge spilled from the aft sections of 1XF ships. Within moments of the Sakura II entering the system perimeter, the pouring flood of turret fire filled the field ahead and the show was on as the Kuvexian ships moved to intercept. "Sakura II here ma'am, we've engaged the enemy," the transmissions from Legacy Squadron were played over the Tokyo bridge's communication system.

Tactical overlays updated as KAMI began to track targets, Himawari was neck-deep in her whirl of screens and gave a continual stream of orders to her sprites. The Tokyo was slower, and the bulk of the fleet remained with them, Katsuko was saving her force for the other side of the wormhole. It didn't stop the distance shots though. It was not long before the Ke-B5-W3902 Type 39 Superheavy Anti-Starship Turrets began successive firing solutions as the Tokyo pushed towards where her hunters had gone ahead.

"Ready two more of our Plumeria Squadrons to break off and provide support to Legacy Squadron," Katsuko ordered Eri, who had taken communications.

Namika smirked, "Fourteen, multiple wars and you need a kiss to come back?" She shook her head, "Tell you what Datenshi, you come back and you will get a kiss. If you bring that armor back in decent condition you might even get more than that." The Deck Boss was sure she left right after she spoke, she was in the lift and headed back to Hangar One to oversee the preparation of the 17th Dragons Strategic Bombers.

KAMI announced in Himawari Tokyo's voice, "Armor Wing Prepare for Initial Launch, provide Point Defense Only for the Tokyo, we want you ready to come back for transit through the wormhole."

The bridge crew on the Episcopus was slow to turn to look at Violetta after the communications operator had spoken Yui's orders, but one by one they had done so. With a few sharp intakes of breath, Violetta herself had kept a deadpan expression.

"Move the fleet to the edges of the system." Her poker face was broken as her violet eyes flashed behind her glasses with a look of severity. "Hold and do not engage within the system. Nepleslians died protecting Yamataian assets at Nataria. We will not exit this war the way we entered it by doing so again. I'll be in the captain's suite if Yamatai wants to know more than that," her short heels moved along the green shag carpet and down the stairs from her command tower at the back of the bridge. She had taken out her datajockey and flipped her fingers along it. Many of the viewscreens on the walls tuned in to NPTV and showed the latest Aethersperm music video alongside ship exteriors.

Kwabba-an continued to tremble as she listened to the black-haired woman describe fighting with such excitement. To stop her hands from shaking, she crossed all four of her arms and buried her hands in her armpits. The shaking seemed to spread up her arms, and she felt it in her shoulders, and then in her jaw. The feeling reminded her of spending too long in a room that was just a little too cold.

The half-ant followed the other woman's cue and turned to see Tatsugami Kozakura. One moment earlier, Kwabba-an had been struggling with the feeling that her melody would soon join the eternal silence of outer space. After seeing Kozakura's familiar face, she no longer felt this way. In its place, she felt like the curtain was about to be called on her final performance, but at least she wasn't going out alone. It was a small comfort, and it didn't help her shaking, but it made her smile.

"I do not know what kind of weapon I shall use," she confessed to the black-haired woman who seemed so excited about the idea of cutting a fighter in half. "I cannot imagine there are any with strings to play. I shall have to make do with whatever we were using in training."

Hiroki was examining his PAAR-40 when he received the FRAGO from SaTO Taisa. He was to be a part of Task Force M and assist in recapturing the Sakura Fleet Depot. It was likely to be heavily guarded considering it was likely where the enemy ships would be stationed. Upon sighting Mikael enter the bay, Hiroki stopped what he was doing and stood at attention. An obscured smirk formed underneath his helmet when Mikael stated the part about not trying to act like an action hero. He felt that heroes were made on the battlefield.

When the time for questions came, Hiroki raised his hand and asked, "Any details on enemy armor sir?"

If there was, then that was what the gauss cannon was for. If enemy armor was absent, then what was the issue with using a powerful anti-armor weapon against standard infantry.

YSS Ranger

Freydis_Eiriksdottir:

The first thing she did was take in a lay out of the ship its bays and public access areas in doing so she came to find the Observation deck looking off into space. With permission to perform the purification ritual to cleanse her soul up there. Looking off into space knowing that she may die in this war. She used the moment to reflect on her life and to evaluate her soul. She looked to stars that called to her telling her to come explore them, see them, and to find secrets they wanted to reveal to her. She took an account for her soul and prepared to face death ensuring she had lived a good life.

Seeing Sacre and her sister:

She came down from the Observation deck to see her Squad Leader with her sister in that moment she thought she was seeing double watching them slide across the bay. She was amazed they weren’t clones and admired their similarity. It reminded her of the similarities she shared with Blom.

Later Deck 5 Power Armor Bay with her Fire Team:

She thought about what to tell her fire team to prepare for the losses that were sure to come that always comes with war. She pared the words carefully:

“We are going into this to defend ourselves from an aggressor not to conquer. We go into this knowing some of us will not survive. With that said I expect every one of you too strike with speed and precision of lightning. We must be ferocious in battle but merciful in victory. When we have casualties and there will be, know they did not mean to die on this day. So, give them the dignity they deserve in death. It is my intention to bring every single one of you home alive. The enemy should have no reservations we are their adversary and seek their surrender and destruction if they choose that course of action. Let’s bring us all home even our fallen. Let’s prepare for this battle, check your equipment, and Good Luck.”

She then went to inspect her suit and equipment to ensure it was in working order.

Shosa Ikigai Majime headed up to the ship's bridge since the action was starting. When she got there, Shoi Lively gave her the update. "Taisho Yui is pushing on the Scrapyard system to convince the enemy we're here for the Ketsurui Military Sector. I'm not seeing a huge amount of defenses, captain. It looks like a little milk run to get the blood flowing before we jump in that wormhole."

Majime nodded. "Ahead full and just kind of tag along with the fleet." She called Taii Hōjō Kagura and said, "If we have volunteers to go down to the depot and assist, we can send some Mindies or fighters."

YSS Mazu, First Expeditionary Fleet
Scrapyard System

The refitted YSS Mazu, a famous 5th XF survivor and now 1XF ship, Takumi-Class ECC peeled off from the main First Expeditionary Fleet formation. Taisa Motoyoshi Kaoru knew full well what the plan was, and this was a bonus. The YSS Tokyo's turret fire lit up the darkness as the Legacy Squadron began to reel in the Kuvexian ships that were in the perimeter of the system. "Got that solution for me?" she opened the data parcel from their navigation and approved it. The Mazu blinked in and out as it's CDD, inertialess moved them before they reappeared with the two Plumeria Squadrons and Legacy Squadron that had already begun the process of pulling one of the Kuvexian Battleships from their formation.

Kaoru had something to prove, her traitor of a younger sister had left a mark on the family and on the Star Army. The First Expeditionary Fleet was tiny in presence compared to the other fleets but the second Yui had given the order, they were in the fire - even if this, the liberation of Scrapyard was just the warm up. "Mazu to Sakura II, Kurahashi Arisu Tasia, pull them towards and get that little show we planned to put together," Kaoru ordered.

"On it, coming your way!" Arisu replied over the open battle channel.

"Tactical, get ready!" Kaoru ordered as the Mazu changed course.

When the Sakura II and it's squadron got the Kuvexian Battleship drawn away from its escorts enough, they went into a coordinated Offensive Blink Tactic, shifting positions rapidly and firing. On the last rotation of movements, the Mazu blinked out and then in with them. It's the main cannon fired the final shot, which tore the Kuvexian ship right down the center, with a rapid succession of secondary impacts from the Mazu's Striker Array.

"Kuvexian Naval Power Armor that survive this battle, QM-305, and Kuvexian Heavies are expected to make a bulk of their force according to what intelligence I have access to. What I do not know since the last report is the number of Rixxikor will be present. Considering their reproductive... prowess and purpose in battle, it is unlikely to be a huge number unless one of their assault ships just happened to be passing through.

But, there have been reports of a new species showing up in a new wave of Kuvexian mercenaries. Codenamed Yemma, they are large anthros of some type. Their armor has always been damaged in such a way to make the recovery of an intact specimen difficult. Their power armor is comparable to a NMX Ripper in defensive strength." Mikael said in response to Hiroki's question.

"Large aliens!? More to feel the pain of the Kikyo Sector!" a random Giretsu soldier yelled out in a battle cry.

"Make them pay!!" more yelled out.

Meanwhile...

Task Force 501 made their drive towards Scrapyard I. Several of their ships switched over to an offensive posture to help take down wounded ships before shifting back to stealth. Their primary mission was the successful offloading of the angry Rikugun soldiers that waiting to dive to land.

"What are the Nepleslians doing?" Sakurai Mizuki said largely to herself when she made adjustments to the battlespace.

Hojo-taii only just finished doling out orders in the power armor bay when Majime's message came through. Technicians had been ordered to their posts in engineering and to damage control across the ship while infantry and fighter pilots were directed to prepare for imminent sortie. The ship's unspecialized soldiers and other clerical personnel like cooks or clerks got split between damage control stations and Mindy duty. Starship operators were, of course, mostly already at their consoles on the bridge. The Taii had been ready to dismiss them all to their tasks but held off when Yui's plans developed on-the-fly.

"One last thing," Kagura said, right when it seemed like everyone was about to break formation and go. It felt like she was holding her breath as she spoke even though her words still flowed out in a measured, officious tone. She certainly hadn't expected her first moments as a white panel to be during a massive interstellar operation! But she was on autopilot, now — just as she'd practiced in all of her years as a helmsman.

"The fleet's going to make a quick pass here and re-take the Star Army's old scrapyard," the young Taii announced. "Any starfighter or Mindy soldiers aboard have been given the option to assist in the assault on Sakura Fleet Depot. Volunteers should note their decision to tactical control. Get suited up and out in the fight! Dismissed!"

Eri smirked as she listened to Katsuko and nodded before she let out a small breath. In her spot, she made sure the orders were parsed out to everyone they needed to be, the bridge getting a good show of the orders and whatever Yui had transmitted with it. As they started, as Kaoru launched that initial volley, Eri was already ahead of the game as she began to send orders, information, and whatever else she could through to those that needed it. Orders were passed down, channels opened, and all in all it seemed Eri had fallen comfortably back into her role as she grinned and watched what she could on a small screen she had brought up to monitor the fleets.

Datenshi couldn't help but huff playfully at Namika as she sauntered over to the elevator and slid her helmet over her head. As the heads up display powered to life and she did one final check of her own suit, Datenshi headed toward one of the doors and leaned against the edge to peer out into the darkness. The call to arms, the call to deploy sent that sinking feeling into her stomach and she couldn't help but grin behind her helmet. She couldn't tell the others how... excited... she was. They would be worried for her, make her do more counseling, but she shook her head and look to her wing. "Alright ladies and gents, you heard the big booming voice. I've highlighted our area to protect. This will be a good warm up, get the blood flowing and get us ready. Do not leave our area, keep the ship safe, and come home. Drinks are on whoever has the lowest Kill amount that comes home, got it?" With little else save the grin behind her helmet, Tenshi spun and launched herself out into space, ready to fight and get to it as she spun in the darkness and headed to the highlighted area she had told the others about.

The "Tch" of disgust that slipped from the tall Fyunnen woman's throat as she heard the call to hold back was not hidden from the crew of the bridge. She held back none of her feelings on the matter as she crossed her arms and considered quiet a few things over the orders, but ultimately she opted to stand her ground where her ships were. She would not retreat, she would not order her ships to fall back to the edge of the system, but she would not outright attack just yet.

What was the point of being in a task force, of volunteering their forces, if all they were going to do was sit there and look pretty it seemed? She had contemplated opening a line to the commanding officer who had made the call, but opted instead again to simply remain quiet and watch for the time being. She would act and push forward if she felt it right, but for now... For now she waited.

"Any starfighter or Mindy soldiers aboard have been given the option to assist in the assault on Sakura Fleet Depot."

Upon hearing the announcement, all thoughts of Kozakura's familiar face and the weaponry discussion with the other woman left Kwabba-an's mind. Turning, she made haste towards the small section of the power armour hangar that was home to her Mindy. Along the way she nearly ran into several other personnel who were scrambling this way and that, but thankfully it was not far.

When she arrived, she immediately started to feel better. Her hands still shook as she began the pre-flight inspection that she had worked hard in training to remember. But despite her ongoing tremors, the space that contained her equipment was her stage and she felt at peace here as she did before a performance. Once the inspection revealed that everyone was in flying form, she opened up and stepped into her power armour. It was hers on a deep level. Not that she owned it, but they had gone to the effort of building it to suit her unique anatomy. The feet that she stepped into were bigger to accommodate her clawed feet. It had four arms. It had segmented sections that her antennae fit into like extra arms. And most noticeably, she stepped into the suit from behind, and a special clamshell closed snugly around her insectoid abdomen. Despite the fact that it was literally built for her and only her, she was always rather disappointed at how poorly it fit. A technician had told her that it had to do with how her body was so unlike that of a nekovalkyrja, but that just sounded like an excuse for shoddy craftsmanship.

Once she was tucked in and switched on, she took a moment to stretch her still-shaking shoulders as they had started to ache from her trembling tension. Then she turned to an unusual piece of equipment that sat on a stand on the floor next to her. With her lower pair of arms, she picked up the zesuauium bass guitar that had come standard with her loadout as one of the Star Army's few members of the musician occupation. She had been given a choice of instruments, of course, but she felt that the sturdy simplicity of the bass would fare well in battle. With her upper pair of arms, she extended a cable from the base of the instrument and plugged it into her power armour.

"T-" she began to transmit, but found that the initial fear of imminent death had worn off and she was again flustered at the smallest social interaction. However, this time she was well-equipped to deal with it. She began to pluck a Pre-Battle Lick on the instrument in her hands, which automatically broadcast over a dedicated channel for any who wanted to mix it into their audio feed. Additionally, her Mindy's loudspeakers began to blast it into the Power Armour Bay before she turned it down to a reasonable volume.

"Tactical control," she began. Now that her fingers were plucking a simple lick, she felt completely in her element and even her shaking had stopped as she broadcast her message. "Duly note that Santô Hei !Kwabba-an Ternifac-xuralkhi volunteers to assist in the assault on Sakura Fleet Depot in her Mindy."

"Finally! Some action." Sanda said as she turned to her Daisy M6-1C Stealth suit. She loved her Daisy armor. To Sanda, the Mindy just looked to dainty, to fragile. Plus they didn't really make Mindy's in her size anyway. The Daisy, now that was a suit that could take a few hits then return them with interest. The M6-1C also came with stealth measures, which was perfect for the Nepleslian Ranger. It took very little time for Sanda to get suited up. Once her Daisy suited up and diagnostic was complete Sanda turned to pick her weapons. A Standard Plasma Rifle and a Plasma Blade that was attached to her right forearm. As a secondary weapon she had a Plasma Revolver. And of course, Sanda had her beloved Straight Silver knife attached her her chest but she was also packing a second one attached to her shield. You never knew when you might need a second blade.

Sanda was just about to put on her helmet and report in when she briefly heard what sounded like music blaring out over the Amor bay. "What the...?" She looked around the bay and saw a suit of Mindy armor with 4 arms. Her mouth dropped open and she stared at the suit in disbelief. "No, it couldn't be." Then she noticed the interment in one set of the arms and knew it had to be her, though Sanda still couldn't believe it. She walked over, mouth still hanging open. "Music bug? Kwabba-an? I'll be damned! It is you! You did it? You really signed up. Haha" Sanda wanted to chat and ketch up on but just then another message came over the loud speakers and she was brought back to the present. "Sorry, we'll have to ketch up later. Got to go scout out the enemy."

Sanda placed her helmet on then opened a channel to tactical control. "Control, this is Ranger Santo Hei Hoshi Sanda. I volunteer to deploy ahead of the others and scout out the enemy position."

Finishing up on the Ursarus and getting orders to report to a shuttle, Egwene donned her armour and headed out. Her PA and the Ursarus were to meet up with a group of armsmen and tackle a small Kuvexian picket instillation. Energy scans determined moderate infantry cover. The Ursarus and Power Armour would break lines in the corridors, and the Armsmen would move up behind to secure them until the Kuvexian were ousted from the instillation. From there was discression, though detonation and evac was suggested given the instillation's lacking defences against larger ships.

Ultimately, this was more a small op to assist the larger op than anything ground breaking, but that was fine. Egwene was not really a ground-breaking woman except when it came to mining.

As Kozakura was standing at the front of the formation and paying attention to her commanding officers, she failed to notice the wave from Chellith. When Majime-shosa departed it seemed as though the first officer of the ship was stepping up to take command of the formation. Kozakura had a half a mind to depart for the bridge and record the action from there but she was unsure of how well received her presence would be. In addition she wasn't sure if she should stay to record this part, though as it was mostly just a procedural delegation of assignments she decided against it.

The time between when Majime left and Yui's orders came in left Kozkura feeling rather anxious for once, jitters formed in her stomach as she stood there waiting for her assignment. Though when the call for volunteers went out, she breathed a sigh of relief. That sounded like something she could do and having her role gave her both a sense of duty and relief. Once the formation was dismissed she instantly headed for her power armor to get suited up. Starting by removing Maru's control interface and the the docking port for the drone, she stowed Maru in a special pack on the back of her armor and stashed the control interface in a storage locker. Now stripped down to her her basic AMES she climbed into her Mindy. Like Kwabba-an's suit it had been custom built for her unique anatomy. Stepping into it feet first, she slipped her tail down into the segmented portion meant to contain it. As the suit closed up she slipped the the helmet on and powered it up. "Control, Santo Hei Tatsugami Kozakura reporting in for the assault on the Fleet Depot."

As her nerves calmed and she prepared herself for the fighting to come, Kozakura noticed the sound of music? She turned to scan the power armor bay until she noticed the odd power armor that bore a striking resemblance to a certain ant she knew. Striding over to join Kwabba-an and the tall woman in Daisy armor who was seemingly chatting with her. Opening up a line of communication to the four armed insectoid suit she said, "Kwabba-an is that you?"

Recognizing the timbre of Sanda Hoshi's voice, Kwabba-an turned to see an unfamiliar set of green power armour. After a brief greeting cut short by an announcement, Kwabba-an bowed her head to the woman she recognized from what felt like another lifetime. Just then, she heard another familiar voice. Once again, she knew before she looked that it was Tatsugami Kozakura. It was merely in search of confirmation that her eyes traced the contours of the dragon woman's distinctly shaped body beneath her own custom Mindy.

"Tatsugami Kozakura," Kwabba-an repeated the sound of the other woman uttering her own name, as best as she could remember from their single meeting so long ago. As she did so, her music changed keys and the tune evolved from an inevitable march to something that bordered on hopeful. "It pleases me that we have been called to share a chorus sooner than I could have imagined."

The Rixxikor were primarily cannon fodder and should hopefully go down like flies. QM-305 power armored units were tougher and more skilled, but they should go down should Hiroki utilize his Giretsu training correctly. However, as experience had shown time and again, no amount of simulations and training could prepare a hopeful recruit for the true horrifying reality of war. Well...most recruits for the most part. Hiroki could not help but feel that he was one of the few soldiers to witness something in the battlefield that could trouble him to his core. Up until now his enemies had been Kuvexians and mercenaries.

These new Yemma sounded interesting though. They may prove an even greater challenge for Hiroki, though he pondered why this species would enter battle with damaged armor. Hiroki took a brief moment to reconsider that perhaps the armor had been damaged by the opposition to the point that their operators were irretrievable.

The patriotic shouts of Hiroki's fellow comrades filled him with pride and confidence. Today was the day to truly punish the Kuvexians for their crimes. He wanted to join them in their triumphant cries for vengeance, but he decided against it, opting instead to wear a wide grin. All there was to do now was to wait until it was Task Force M's turn to get in on the action.
