RP: YSS Eucharis [Post Mission 5] A Time for Recovery

Nodding at Hanako's permission, Nike took her umbrella and hurriedly went back to the hotel.

The lobby had emptied somewhat, however, there are still others waiting for their shuttles, which were delayed on landing due to the rain as well as the space restraints at the landing pad. She began to regret coming back to the noisy lobby as her ears started to get sharp ringing sensations.

"Konoka-san! Konoka-san!" The neko looked around, hoping to catch the other neko's destinct large ears, "The shuttle is going to leave for Eucharis!" She called out, hands already covering her ears to muff out the noise slightly.
 
"Ah," Hamada replied enigmatically, unconsciously casting her eyes away, not sure of what else to say. She had not expected that sort of an answer out of a Taisa, but this one was, after all, Hanako.

She buckled herself in without any further comment, turning her attention to the crew for a little while before, shoulders hunched slightly, the damp, somewhat hungover Taii finally closed her eyes and gave in to her headache.

Hamada had a nasty feeling that the shuttle would be sitting here a while.
 
Nika found Konoka easily enough. Not going to wait for her reply, she offered her another umbrella from the reception and the duo quickly board the shuttle.

"Found her Taisa." The neko panted, ushered Konoka to take a seat at D6 as she settled down on the seat beside the latter, buckling her up as well as herself, "Ready to go."
 
Surprised to see the Taisa acknowledge her, Junko was a little confused for a moment. Finally deciding that it would be horrendously inappropriate to stand and bow properly to the Taisa, she settled for a little half bow from her seat. Her attention temporarily fixed in that direction, she also noticed the other officer in a white paneled uniform. To her knowledge, the shuttle was lifting directly to the Eucharis, so it was unlikely that the officer was from another ship. With the Taisa already in command, that left the officer to be the XO, but Junko did not remember her coming down with the shuttle. She turned to ask Himeya if she knew anything, but was left with her mouth open as the neko sped off to look for a missing crewmember.

Having little else to do, Junko turned her attention back to the XO. She hadn’t been listening in to the conversation, but the officer’s face wasn’t very hard to read. A personal, and slightly sadistic, little smirk passed over Junko’s face at the discomfort and confusion writ large by the officer’s mannerisms. She quickly wiped the smirk off her face when Himeya returned, late crewmember in tow, and settled back next to her. Turning to face them, she smiled slightly. “Good morning to you both. I overheard you being called Hotaru-hei before, though I’m afraid we have not been introduced. I am Takeda Junko, Santo Hei Technician.”
