RP: 188604 [Post USO X Heartbreaker Crossover] Party on Ee'ee

Ee'ee - Geometric City

Thi-Thi gazed down at Alex in silence, nodding to him at his response. "You need not say a word, Alex," she said solemnly. "Each of you has played a part in saving everything we I'ee hold dear, putting yourselves at risk. All we can offer in return for now are these small gifts. Speaking of which..." The queen gestured to a few of her children, who split off in two separate groups to meet with Taii Valesti and Uso both. "While I do not have gifts for each and every one of you," Thi-Thi continued. "I do have something for both USO and the crew of the Heartbreaker to keep, to show our thanks."

The two groups of Thi-Thi I'ee presented the USO and Yamataian groups with a gift each: For USO, it was a roughly basket-ball sized globe of the planet 188604, made of copper, with the seas represented with jet. The globe was hollow and light, with mountains and depressions painstakingly hammered either in or out of the surface. The I'ee handed it to Uso herself, along with a small, steel frame to hold its delicate structure.

To Tsukisaki, a small, solid gold figurine of the YSS Heartbreaker was given. It was small enough to fit comfortably in the palm of one's hand. A button was set into the centre of its dorsal side, with an engraved outline of the Yamataian bellflower surrounding it. The I'ee handing over the figuring demonstrated by pressing the button with her claw, causing the outline of the bellflower to light up from within with a warm, orange glow.

As the gifts were given, Saba stepped forward and introduced himself, causing Thi-Thi to turn her head. "Ahh, I did not wait to allow you to introduce yourself. I apologise," she said with regret. "With your armour, I mistook you for a machine." The I'ee queen nodded politely, unaware that Saba was, in fact, an android.

Ee'ee

"Neato,"

Uso would spin the sphere around quickly taking in the entire surface as the sphere lofted an inch or two up in the air before being caught by her hands. She would then accept the stand for the piece of artwork.

She silently cursed herself for not bringing medals like the Yamatains had. The I'ee loved those things... Sure saving the day and all was a gift in and of itself...

And then there was Alex. Clearly experiencing feelings. Reminding him of that old special forces motto, 'Who Cares, Loses' seemed a bit inappropriate at the moment. Instead she would put her free hand on Alex's shoulder and continue talking to the Queen.

"I will put this in a place of honor on my ship. It'll look great next to that plaque Sammy got me..." The hand on Alex's shoulder would move up to give a wave towards the adorable I'ee ambassador before returning to their mecha pilot. "While we don't have any art to bring you, we do have more technology to share with your JTF."

Ee'ee, Orbit
Spacecase would open a channel to Uso once he came intothe system. "Hey I brought the stuff you wanted. Where do you want me to set down?"

Ee'ee

Uso's datapad would beep, and she would pause for a moment, moving her hand from Alex's shoulder to the pad to quickly key in a message one handed.

"Just find our shuttle, there should be plenty of room for you to land nearby.

-Uso"

Ee'ee
Spacecase would touch down by Uso's shuttle and shut down his ship.
"Where are you so I know where to send the Junkers?

-Spacecase"

Ee'ee

"You'll have to excuse me for just a moment..." Uso replied, clipping her datapad back in place, letting it blend in seemlessly with the starfield that was being displayed on her little dress. She would half bow, really just leaning forward a little bit and then took a biiiiig step backward so she could then turn to face Spacecase, making the short trip over to where his craft had touched down.

"You're killing me here space..." Uso said, "The Yami's brought medals... the I'ee love that kind of stuff... I don't suppose you have a spacer-ceremonial clay-pot or something we could give them to say thanks? You know what? Just have one of your junkers, ONE, bring one of those hyperspace taps over nearish the queen..." Uso would slide around behind Space-case, placing one hand on either side of his head and pointing him towards the larger I'ee that all the children had gathered around, "The Queen..." She repeated. "For the love of Yui don't have the junker do anything stupid. Best behavior and all that. Hell offer to take the reactor whever they want ok?

... maybe we should open up our libraries to them too?... fuck, some Osman books would have been great gifts...."

"Hm. Looks like someone must have come late to the party." Serai, getting herself back up to speed with... Herself, mostly, Remained standing behind the USO 'officials' relative to the I'ee leader. Now actually in the sunlight, the dazzling arrangement of features about her made themselves more prevalent- from her chocolate-and-honey hair to the cool silver eyes to her mesmerizingly blue wings.

Ee'ee
Spacecase would sigh. "I've fucked up haven't I? I'll get a Junker over there after I look around in the bay to see if I have anything 'cerimonial'." He would then take a step back and head into his ship.

EE'EE

Errowyn snickered softly at seeing Uso and Spacecase interact. She looked over at the YSS Heartbreaker crew and it's Taii. She felt a bit of homesickness and the urge to resume her trip to get repatriated back into Yamatai Space Army. But for now she had her contract to fulfill with Uso.

~~ "..give up all them pretty dresses you've accumulated?" ~~ One of her sisters whispered.

~~ "What about Cyrus, Such a wonderful..." Another spoke up onle to be interrupted.

~~ "Shut up!" ~~ Chorus of voices drowning out the one just spoken.

"All of you! Just shut friggen hell up!" Errowyn suddenly growled loudly.

Then looked around as her face slowly turned pink with embarrassment. She just wanted to slink back to the shuttle and hibernate till this meet-n-greet with the I'ee was done with.

After returning to her starting position next to Rin, the Taii nodded in return to the Queen. "I am sorry for the subjects you lost during the battle. Hopefully, when the I'ee and Yamatai fight together again, we will better understand each other. I must admit...we do not yet even fully understand the biology of your species." The I'ee definitely had them at a disadvantage in some regards, since they had been studying Uesu and Yamatai long before the Heartbreaker officially made first contact. "But, when I learned there were survivors, I ensured they received the best care we could provide. A soldier who feels she is no longer of any use to her Queen, or Empress, is a soldier without purpose, and likely not long for this world. I hope they will be able to, and happy to, continue to serve."

Tsukisaki saw the gifts being given to Alex and Uso, somewhat surprised to find one of the I'ee tottering up to present her with one as well. She bent to receive the small sculpture, examining it curiously as the alien demonstrated its workings. Slowly, the faintest smile crept onto her face. She did appreciate some forms of art...and it was her ship, fearsome blade and all. Valesti nodded in approval to the servant, before straightening up to hand it over to Rin for safekeeping. "Thank you, Your Highness. I will ensure it is displayed properly, for my crew and your ambassadors to inspect and appreciate. And to remember."

And then there it was, the sort of embarrassing moment she had been expecting, as the junky transport interrupted the ceremonies to land on USO's side of the area. She turned back towards her crew members with a soft grunt of annoyance. The Captain would take this opportunity to handle some business with her crew, leaving the Queen to hopefully focus all of her attention on USO's blundering. At some point Rin had produced another wooden box, opening it as Valesti addressed her crew, beginning to stoically read through a list of promotions and awards.

Blesi Ingrid: Combat Award, Exploration, Notable Career, Service
Skade Masahiga: Promotion to Nito Heisho, Combat Award, Combat Lifesaver, Exploration, Notable Career, Service
Hasewega Sara: Promotion to Joto Hei, Combat Award, Exploration, Notable Career, Service
Kinzuko no Byakko/Takeshi Saba: Promotion to Nito Hei, Combat Award, Exploration, Service
Sutauto Isao: Promotion to Nito Heisho (Probationary), Combat Award, Combat Lifesaver, Exploration, Service

With that bit of business done, she turned towards the trio of I'ee ambassadors who were still standing with the Yamataians. "Once your allies have finished their...business...with your Queen, I would like for you to confirm with her our clearance to conduct a brief liberty on your planet. With you three and any others necessary as escorts, of course." This would come as news to the crew members, who hadn't been expecting any time off, much less on this very inhabited, very friendly alien planet. It was quite a departure from their normal activities.

Kiko was so caught up in everything that was happening that she very zoned completely out. She wasn't sure what had been up with her lately, she had just been so out of it. Not today!- The neko snapped herself out of her stupor and mentally scolded herself for being so rude.

At least she knew what was going on, she doubted she'd be able to forgive herself if she had completely zoned out and missed everything that was going on.
Kiko made a quick mental note to make the most out of their stay on Ee'ee, there was likely something to learn... and perhaps a thing or two she could share. It was, after all, her ongoing mission to increase her culinary knowledge and skill!

Skade blinked at the gold model of the Heartbreaker, eyes widening a little when it lit up. Very nice. Too bad we don’t all get one. The Taii will probably just stuff it in her cabin or something. Oh well, at least I got to look at it now.

She shook out of her reverie when the I’ee Queen addressed Takeshi. “He’s a little shy,” the Neko said, patting the taller android on the shoulder, “And he’s just as much a machine as I am, your Majesty.” It’s true. Androids need to stick together, whatever appearances there are.

Possible embarrassment avoided, she looked over at the circus of characters that was USO. Okay, maybe not circus. But Elysians? A Neko? Lots of variety at any rate. When the said Neko growled, Skade blinked a few times, then shrugged. I’d be annoyed too if I had to deal with that.

Her attention was brought back when the Captain started listing off promotions and awards. It’s been a good year, she thought with a smile, learned a lot.

Given the news of getting some time off, the technician ‘accidentally’ bumped into Saba. “Congrats on the promotion, Takeshi-kun,’ she said, grinning up at him. “What do you want to do on liberty?”

Thi-Thi nodded solemnly at the Taii's words. "Indeed. My daughters likely appreciate your efforts to restore them more than I myself do." The I'ee queen observed as the gifts were given out, then raised her head to watch Spacecase's shuttle as it landed. The sudden, unexpected arrival seemed to irritate her; twisting the point of her blade into the floor beneath her and letting out a low, droning buzz with her wings.

The Ee'ith ambassadors perked up attentively as Valesti addressed them; Sammy in particular seemed enchanted by the Taii's imposing presence. "Oh!" he and Sally both squeaked. "I believe that allowing you free reign here is one of the things Thi-Thi intends to announce! I know that she has some requests to convey, at least!"

Thi-Thi waited as the two alien parties conversed amongst themselves, watching in silence, until the two had, more or less, wrapped up whatever business they were discussing. "I have some final things to say," she called out, her voice unnaturally loud so as to boom over the noise. "As some of you are already aware, the I'ee are giving you free reign to explore our homeworld, to relax after your battle to save it. What you ultimately choose to do here is up to you, but I do have some offers... and requests, to tell you."

The queen stepped closer with slow, ponderous steps upon her thick, sturdy legs, keeping her blade held point down to one side. "Firstly, Ee'ith, the mother of the ambassadors I'm sure both of you are familiar with," Thi-Thi pointed to Sally, Sammy and Yui, who each hid timidly behind Taii Tsukisaki, "would like you all to visit her. It would be a kind thing to do, as I'm sure you will agree."

"Secondly I... have a personal request," Thi-Thi said, looking unusually timid for once. "I am not sure if you aliens partake in recreational hunting, but... Well, it has been many long years since I could last hunt beasts, and while I do observe my daughters in their youthful hunts, even that grows boring to me." There was a pause before Thi-Thi continued. "I request that you partake in an organised hunt for... my personal amusement," she finally said, sounding slightly ashamed. "It feels wrong to ask such a thing of you so soon, and I must stress that it is only a request that none of you need accommodate, but... I would enjoy it."

Spacecase would search the many sub storage rooms in his ship where he stored miscellaneous items. He would make a pile in the middle of the main bay.
"Uso I found some stuff that might be given as an extra gift. Most of the stuff I don't remember getting but if it's not enough I do have stuff from when the crew was all alive. There is religious stuff in some of their quarters.

-Spacecase"

Alex looked up at Thi-Thi. He spoke softly but firmly, tears that were brought by the gift still in his eyes.

"It would be an honor to do both."

Kiko perked up at Thi-Thi's request to have some of them participate in a hunt. Hunting leads to food, in most cases, and where there was food there was often a kitchen. She was unsure if the I'ee prepared their meat, but this was certainly the time to find out if -and perhaps how- they did.

"I would be delighted to join in on a hunt, your highness!- If I am allowed to do so." She blurted out, tail curling with excitement, "and if it isn't too much of a hassle, would it be possible for me to view your kitchens, or any other sort of places for food preparation? I'm one of the cook's on the Heartbreaker, and it would be amazing to learn a thing or two while I'm here... perhaps I can even share my own knowledge!"

Oh the possibilities! It was all just so exciting!

A hunt, huh? Seems a good idea to improve our relations... And perhaps the Yammies can stop acting like we're below them if we follow through. Channeling her inner diplomat to Uso and herself using the telepathy, Arx had unnoticed strode forward to deliver her message to the employer silently. Assuming, anyways, that they don't gloat over their victory... There was a twang of displeasure in the Elysian's thoughts, which quickly subsided as Serai backed away back towards the Uso shuttle. No reason in crowding people without speaking...

"Not now..." Uso would tell Spacecase, her attention being drawn back to Thi-Thi... TheThi-Thi? Uso strongly considered paying better attention next time so she could determine of that was a name or a title.

Uso's attention was now firmly on Thi-Thi

"I'd love to meet Sammy's mom!" Uso's smile was big and toothy at this point, "Sammy has been a delight to have around and I'm sure whatever Ee'ith has to say will be useful for us all."

She would then give a short pause before moving onto the next topic.

"Of course... a hunt certainly sounds like fun. What would we be hunting and what are the rules? I assume you wouldn't find it sporting if we brought a tank along."

"...or air support...." Errowyn whispered as she was curious what a Hunt would be like. It was probably similar to flying patrol. Wait till the enemy spotted, then exterminate with extreme prejudice. She looked over the assembled, both Uso's crew and the Heartbreaker crew. She smirked as another thought raced across her mind. ~probably end up shooting each other.~ Which brought a fleeting smile. She was more interested in the fighter crafts that the I'ee had for military purposes. But getting to see them wasn't going to happen. Even Allies don't let seasoned combat vets look over their crafts.

Seeing that the official Ceremony was over with and some of the crew were showing interest in pairing up with the I'ee for their personal interests. Errowyn looked over the surrounding area to take in the unusual structures that I'33 used. It was more pleasing than the more practical Yamatai rectangle in height and the block square type of multi-story buildings she was more used to.

Hasewega seemed surprised at the announcement of awards and promotions. She couldn't tell that a year had already gone by. It felt like a few weeks had gone by since she was dragging diplomats arms through scuttled vessels. Still the journey had just begone for it seems, and the road ahead seemed a lot less easier from here.

The minkan's ear perked up at the hunting request. She waited for the Taii to finish for the group before turning to the Thi-Thi. "I'd be honored to take part in the hunting party."
