I opened the star map to check stuff out and the first thing I saw was "Rufusland." That seemed interesting so I searched around and there doesn't seem to be much in RP about it or its surface. Yamatai is so nice that exploring the harsh environment there could be refreshing. Make some use of those LSTVs.
 
Ame's decided that she's leaving the site and she doesn't want any of her characters to be used. For us on Resurgence that means our captain, who is Ame's creation (just using my adopted art) will be leaving the plot as soon as possible. I haven't talked to Raz since she decided this but we should be prepared to lose our first officer as well if he pulls out to support her. Also based on his last post I'm not sure SchererSoban is sticking around either so we're probably losing Russ Tycho.
 
I am still around (and am currently editing a cool just-finished JP to post in a few minutes). Ame is under the impression that you control Majime, so not to worry there, either. Unless you're uncomfortable with it for some reason.
 
Sorry Wes yes I'm leaving the plot. Still also working out my future at Star Army.

Loved the plot idea and the assembled cast just don't think I can keep up. Hope to hear of all the crews adventures:)
 
Thanks for letting me know. I hope you'll stick around and find another plot that gives you what you're looking for.
 
UPDATE: I've updated the plot page. The main things of interest to you guys
  • I set the posting/pace expectations to 2 posts a week based on your feedback in this thread
  • If 2 weeks go by without me hearing anything from your characters they may get marked as inactive (and eventually, transferred)
  • I put a note on there about us trying to get a short 2-hour JP in each Friday that's not a community meeting
 
Hope my post didn't say too much. I'm somewhat of an expert on the Fuji-class 🤓 so it was a lot of fun writing about it with fresh in-character eyes.
 
Okay, so now that we have a ship, here's what I envision:
  • We can have the ship in orbit as our base
  • We can dispatch small teams to multiple locations at once
Prime example, we can send some people to Love Day while others stay on the ship or go explore Ketsurui no Iori more.

We're still going to visit some of those ground locations in Yamatai too.

That sounds good to me. It's been a very busy week but thankfully I get today off so I should be able to join the JP tonight. As long as my little girl goes to bed without fuss. It was an hour long fight last night.
 
I assigned us a supply specialist and a cook. Note that this doesn't prevent Kwabba and Sanda from still helping in the kitchen :).

But now we can actually order food supplies :)
 
Let's try to get some single posts in, folks.

Away team people: How about a JP tomorrow night around 8:30pm Eastern? Friday we got the meeting.
