I like it very much, though the triangle tends to be adjusted as stated. Here's a reference.
I would also like to have the small squares on the cuffs as well, the wrist-mounted communicator bits are important to remember.
Why should the glowy triangle need to be on a specific side if the importance of it being able to be moved is to let commissioners not have to get it perfect? Sorry I just can't get over moving the triangle.
Edit: that's what the art is hanging up on, along with me sort of hating digital art and phone tag between myself and tosh
Put simply, because it's the military and we have designated places to put stuff in our regulations for the sake of uniformity. If you put a group of soldiers in a row and the thing is in different places on them it looks like a soup sandwich.
It's alright. I was waiting on the art to be finished so I could adjust the description to tailor-fit to it. No pun intended. The confusion as to where the neck holo emitter was something I was waiting on before making adjustments. I wasn't thinking of the emitters being movable on this one, because the nature of this suit is to be streamlined without anything that can be caught on a hemosynthetic insert. It wouldn't be possible to make them movable on the Mini-Neko version anyway. EDIT: Updated article to reflect changes, added the sketch as the current official art.
Very close, but the shoulders are the same as the Type 22's in this image. They're more modern in the Type 42, like those of the sketch.
If you want the rank to display on the chest like it is being shown here, I'm willing to have that be an option...but would need to adjust the article slightly. I had thought we were moving away from that and onto the arms alone.
