The Gunman
Alistair sighed as Eir walked out. "Well Eli, the offer still stands if you care." He said with a slight smile. "I'm going to go get some sleep." He grabbed another bottle of rum as he walked out of the room. He pulled up the schematics of the ship and found where the bunks where.
As he walked he thought about the days events. He went from getting yelled at as soon as he got here, to an "almost boarding action," to getting a new CO who already expressed that he dosen't like him. He was tired and wanted some sleep. He took a swig of the rum and trudged on.
He finally found an empy bunk and dropped all of his gear with a crash. The other bunks around him were unoccupied. He hopped up into the top bunk and grabbed his data jockey and decided that he would upgrade some of his hacking programs. He gave them faster proceesing speeds and many other useful features.
As he put the final touches on the programs, he looked down at his locket and opened it. Inside was a picture of him and his sister when they were kids, and the other pictures was of his mother. "Well Mia, your brother could use a hand over here. I really miss you." He thought. He closed the locket and put his things away. Alistair didn't even take the time to get out of his uniform, he just flipped over onto his side, set his alarm and went to sleep clutching his locket tightly in his hand.
