Art Shameless Art Gallery Show off Thread. (Aka, SAGSOT!!!)

SAGSOT sounds like some kind of eldrith monster (Sagg'Sot)!

Anyway, this is for those who might be interested in seeing some of the art I draw!

Since I like drawing bugs so much, I thought Furaffinity would be a good choice (plus I have friends there): http://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/waspgirl/
My only mistake was forgetting that the only art Furries tend to like is inflation fetish porn. Oh, well!

If you take a look, you can probably get a good idea of my more common themes from my artwork involving Lissie, the little wasp. She's a cute, cartoon character floundering in a desolate, decrepit world of financial and environmental collapse, where all other species of insect have died off, leaving her as the sole remaining bug on the planet.
Please give me feedback, tell me what you like and what you don't like, etc! I really enjoy seeing more than just an up-vote in response to my submissions.

Another piece of art, this time it's a character line up!

From left to right: Noodle (with his birds Arlow, Jewel and Bert), Mitty and Kipahsunah. Filly's face is above them.
Feels good to finally do a bit of drawing. :)

Finally got some work done on art today. This time I tried my hand at emulating the sprite-art style used in Nuclear Throne. Here are some examples of characters from the game:

I tried to use the same style in drawing a female mutant alligator character. This is the work-in-progress; what I've gotten done so far:
0GATORPROFILE.webp
Still doing shading and I haven't done the black outlining fully yet. I'm looking for some feedback on this, suggestions on how to make it nicer, etc.
Yes, she has tits.

I modelled an I'ee vehicle today! This is the sort of thing you'd see being driven all over Ee'ee in various configurations: Large, industrial vehicles about the size of a small building, carrying cargo or equipment to perform various tasks. One of these is being used on 188604 to help with creating roads.

Here's another DoGA model made just now: It's a stealth probe that was used by Oo'tut to research other species in secret. You'll notice it doesn't really look that much like an I'ee craft.

I'ee Probe1.webp I'ee Probe2.webp I'ee Probe3.webp I'ee Probe4.webp
That's because it isn't! Awoooo!~
The stealth probe is fast and almost undetectable, even to its users: There have been many occasions where probes have gone AWOL and returned to the Oo'tut with large stretches of memory deleted or otherwise inaccessible. Some have disappeared completely, and those remaining are now kept secure in underground hangers.

Just now, I went back to my old model for the Ee'ith Ambassador Sphere and gave it a make-over. Here it is, all spruced up:
Ee'ith Sphere.webp Ee'ith Sphere2.webp Ee'ith Sphere3.webp
It's still ADORABLE. The brown legs protruding from the bottom are its landing gear, and the oblong beneath the two engines is its airlock hatch. I want a little model of this thing to sit on my desk! ^w^

Another day, another DoGA! This time I've designed a giant, six-wheeled combat rover. My main inspiration comes from the vehicles seen in the Homeworld cinematics, and it's meant to be about the same scale. There'd probably be about thirty waspers in one of these.

I'eeRover1.webp I'eeRover2.webp I'eeRover3.webp I'eeRover4.webp

Any feedback? Does the asymmetrical look work? Does a six-wheeler like this fit the I'ee's 'personality', for lack of a better word. I can't really picture them using proper tanks, as such; just a rag-tag assortment of giant, industrial vehicles turned into battle-machines.

It certainly does look rag-tag.

I assume this would have been a giant dump truck before it was converted into a war vehicle?

Or is I'ee large enough that you'd need a mobile home for the wasps inside the vehicle too?

My thought was it used to be an industrial desert rover for transporting materials to factories and other facilities. Since the I'ee like temperate climates with forests, deserts would have no use to them; I can imagine them building all their factories and industrial complexes in areas they don't want to keep their kids in. :P

So, I finally did some proper drawing today!
I'm sure most, if not all of you, have heard of Five Nights at Freddy's; that game that feels like it's older than two years for some reason.
Now, I don't usually make original characters based off of an existing canon such as a game or film series. On top of that, I've never even played a single FNAF game; jump scares are too much for my little wasp heart!
I guess I just really love the idea of creepy, murderous animatronics, because I created a fan character:
ad.facdn.net_art_waspgirl_1480852781_1480852781.waspgirl_bettywip2.webp
Her name is Betty, the Butterfly! I've been roleplaying as her on and off for a good couple of years now, but it's only until now that I've actually made a drawing of her that I didn't hate. Her backstory is that she was once the star of her own franchise: Being the 'chef' character, who obviously didn't actually make the food, but served it in person like a robotic waitress. Time passed, and her home went bust, and Betty got passed from one collector to another. Inexplicably, she becomes increasingly self-aware and hateful of her existence, and begins taking out her fury on the expensive collections she is a part of. Her general theme is that she likes to use kitchen utensils in creative ways to maim her victims with. My favourite was when she stuffed an egg beater down someone's throat. :b

The upcoming joint Uso-Heartbreaker plot needs a villian, and the most likely contender is an old, wrecked battleship in the Ee'ee graveyards discovered and repaired by the NMX. I've had the idea in mind for a big, powerful derelict being salvaged for a while, so as soon as I heard @Reynolds had it planned, I whipped this up:
AlienBattleship1.webp AlienBattleship2.webp AlienBattleship3.webp AlienBattleship4.webp
I didn't model the engines, since the ship will be a wreck with some new ones added on by the Mishhu. Basically, it's a large sniper ship, similar to the I'ee Dragoon, but on the scale of a battleship. The flaps are articulated and can fan out or close to hug against the contours of the ship. The flaps on the main gun stay folded down and open to release heat from the glowing ports with each firing of the gun. While the I'ee Dragoon is meant for bombarding enemy ships from afar, this thing is meant to be a planet-killer: Launching powerful blasts of exotic particles into the atmosphere, which they react with violently and release all sorts of nasty radiation. That's not counting the damage from the projectile when it hits the ground. Imagine lots of deep, irradiated tunnels bored straight down into the ground.

It also has its four defense turrets mounted around the central power core, designed to protect it from enemy craft. Note also that the main gun is designed to be decoupled from the ship itself; allowing for different load-outs, but most relevant to the plot, perhaps allowing for some salvage work by the HB or USO once it's been taken down. Maybe you can even fight over it. :P

A tribute to our new waspy overlords
