>3DThat's pretty, more than I could come up with. I wish I had the money to hire some of the great anime mecha designers.
I'm thinking of setting it to AdamKop and seeing what he can make out of it. he did the 3D models for the Sharie and Eikan.
While highly prepared for the rigours of space, the majority of StarArmy of Yamatai ships -- while perfectly capable of entering dense planetary environments (typically those of gas-giants and oceans) they were subject to a number of operational problems, especially during long missions.
Given the nature of deep-scanning equipment and its failure to penetrate many ocean-worlds and gas-planets, a specialised vessel would allow the SAOY to not only ferret out threats hiding in these environments but also conceal supply depots and research bases far away from the prying eyes of outside threats.
I like using lots of variants of simple flowing parts to describe a simple shape. When I've got the basics up, I then go back and make more complex parts to stop things from looking too samey or I introduce interrupts to tidy things up.@OsakanOne it always amazes me at how fast you work. Even when I was familiar with DoGAm it would take me longer to come up with a concept and you've made two.
Amazing work.
Fine, we'll call it the Blackfish. My Orca is better than your Orca.
And since this has been brought up in previous Nepleslia tech submissions, I see no reason why Yamatai should get a free pass on it. Isn't the policy to avoid naming tech submissions similarly to prevent confusion and encourage originality?
