Shuttle Bay

Thaddeaus Maximus had made his way to the shuttle bay. He had recently been having fun playing knights and robbers before getting wind of this assignment. He was going to miss causing trouble chasing after a princess but he is sure her father is glad he is gone.

Thad was a dashing looking guy standing around 6'6" and a good 220 lbs of lean muscle. His eye are a blue, almost purple color to them. His dark hair neatly brushed. Arms crossed in front of his chest. He was wearing standard dark pants with heavy boots. Top half was sporting a fairly tight white shirt. He left his coat that he normally wears back in his room since he knew they would be getting into power armor.

"Loud and clear queen bee. Your yellow armor can be our beacon of hope." He said with a chuckle as he walked past Green-Horn.

SHUTTLE BAY

Serebity thought it over, contemplating maybe this wasn't the best time to go down. She could always watch through the Freespacer after all as she watched the others from the entrance of the bay. To many unknown people on her ship, to many unknown problems for her liking. Her eyes passed over everyone, still cuddling the floater to herself as she spotted what looked like a child. She had to tilt her head before the hairs on her arm stood up as she spotted a blast from her past. A devil's fountain...

The girl in question was a small thing. Standing just at 5'4, her red hair bobbed as she tilted her head back and forth looking over her favorite delivery tool of death. An old school Lorath Devil's Fountain, she was idly tinkering with it to make sure it was in good shape before she heard the call to suit up. The green eyes searched over the suits for a second before she awkwardly walked over to the suit. Sure she new what Daisys were, she had seen her share on Nepleslia, but the ginger hadn't seen these before.

Poking, proding, touching here and there along the armor, she seemed tl get more and more upset that she couldn't figure it out.

"The fuck is with this armor? What shit makes it impossible to get in?! I don't even see any god damn weapons on this thing. Not that they'd be better then my sweet lil baby girl but still!" She thought to herself, finally tired of looking like a dumbass. Heavy metal contact was heard, metal hitting metal, before she turned to the others. Her augmented hand was in the thing's gut, hand balled in a fist.

"HOW DA FUCK DO I OPEN THIS SHIT?!" She shouted to the others, a fantastic first sentence to shout out to the others she was to accompany.

Shuttle Bay

Thad heard the sounds of what sounded like a young girl calling out for help. He looked around the side of his armor to see a small girl standing in front of her power armor. She was clearly not pleased with the situation she was in. Thad at first thought she was joking but he could see a slight concern on her face which gave away she wasn't.

Welp, can't have her drawing this much attention with a new crew this soon. Thad stepped out from the side of his armor and walked towards her. "Oh gosh are you at it again trying to be funny. My gosh, we all know you..." Thad proceeded to explain in a fairly high level of detail how the armor works including how to get in it. "You wont trick me into thinking you don't know how to work that armor. Names Thaddeaus, pleasure meeting you." He reached his hand out for her to shake it.

Tecuma looked up at Thaddeus, eyebrow twitching with the tone yey she bit her lip to hold back tje string of expliatives she wanted to launch at him. He was being helpful after all. She listened though and watched as he explained the suit testing out the entry point. She was pleasently surprised to say the least as the suit opened for her entry.

"Well I guess you aren't as stupid as you look. Thanks big guy."

Her tone was genuine as she attempted to pat him on the back, yet like everyone else she wound up patting his butt duento the height difference. She brushed it off though and turned to the suit, struggling a little with entry yet eventually sliding her way in. She took a few steadhing breaths before she turned the suit on and began a quick crash course in some of the suit's systems.

Shuttle Bay

Thad had expected a hand shake but a pat on the butt works too. She would of felt how firm his butt was from his many years of being a merc. "Anytime. And you are stronger than you look. Nice firm grip." He flashed her a smile as he walked back over to his power armor to suit up.

He looked over his notes and seen the mission was an escort type. Company of girls who were rescued and are to be dropped off at this planet. He looked over the information on the planet. This is one rough world. Who would want to come back? He thought to himself as he popped open his power armor. Either way he was use to these types of missions so did not expect there to be any issues. How much trouble could a couple of girls be after all. He chuckled as the helmet of the suit sealed.

"GUYS!" Green Bean shouted, amplifying her voice with her suit's built in speakers. "Pair your datapad with the armor, and tell it to open! The middle part opens up... like around the waist. You can slide in from behind that way!"

Did they not have power armor training? Was it HER responsibility to make sure they did?

It certainly seemed like the time to show off her officer material! First a squad of loyal newbies, then her own command! Then maybe, like, someone to bring her those crispy chocolate cracker things the SAoY liked so much... Maybe a cute dress...

Wait. Offtopic. Focus.

Green-Horn did her best to figure things out herself. Right now she needed to make sure everyone was ready for the planet below.

"EVERYONE BE SURE TO GET IN SOME ARMOR! YOU TOO FRANK!" Green-Horn was quick to point out Frank, both verbally and with her pointer, "Just because you have a fancy body, doesn't mean you're going to be immune to the stuff down there... Pretend you're like Space-Case... you know, spacery... and vulnerable to dieing!"

Shuttle Bay

Spacecase would relax a bit hearing the officer pull her crew together. Seeing some potential for a good leader in her put him at ease a bit. Though upon hearing the Spacer comment he would yell. "Hey!!! I'm not a very good example for that kind of stuff I don't exactly have most of my organs. Mostly machine with very little biological material tends to weaken someone's immune system. Anyways I believe proper introductions are in order. The name's Spacecase I run the surveillance system for 188604 and am mainly a scout and sniper when it comes to combat. I'll be the one to pick you up if you get lost."

Spacecase would point to his datapad. "I have my ship trailing. No offense but I'd rather have my supplies ready in case things go south."

"GREAT! EVERYONE SCOUT OUT A POWER ARMOR SO YOUR ORGANS AND NOT-ORGANS ALIKE DON'T GET TURNED TO SOUP!" Green-Horn called out. She pointed to the nearest unused Revenant power armor and bid that it open up, her electronic signals causing the mid-section to split open around the waist, the front part folding down and forward to expose the insides.

"I'M GREEN-HORN! I'M THE NEW GIRL ON GREEN SQUAD!" She shouted to spacecase, going along with the 'we're all shouting now thing' as it seemed like the right thing to do, "ADD ME ON SPACEBOOK! WE CAN HANG OUT AFTER WE FINISH MAKING SURE YOU DON'T DIE DOWN THERE!"

Frank nodded "uh I don't have access to power armor unfortunately lucky I dont need to breath but if there's corrosive stuff I may need a chemical seal on my armor and weapons"

Shuttle Bay

Thad could not help but smile learning how many seemed to be very new to power armor. I am going to have my hands full this mission. He grumbled to himself knowing the trouble it was to not only have to protect the VIPs but also his own team.

He listened to what Green-Horn had to say about the armor and how they operate. While he had looked over the manual in great detail this was a new type of armor for him too so didn't wish to miss anything. Then he heard the offer of adding her on Spacebook. Well this is just fun.

"WILL DO ONE BETTER THAN JUST ADD YOU ON SPACEBOOK. WE CAN HAVE DINNER AFTER THE MISSION." He could not help but play along with this. So far the crew seemed like a pretty fun bunch and was nice to tease one another before this mission. Since the more he heard about the world below the more he understood this is a very dangerous place to be. Explain to me again why we brought them back here of all places. I am sure there is a nice world with a beach and less kill you dead environment.

Thad was missing the world he just left already. It had rolling hills and streams. Zero of this breath the air and die a suffering horrible death. Least the company of his team was nice.

SHUTTLE BAY

Tecuma was about to go off on Thad, a tirade about was she stronger then she looked cause she looked like a kid, or just cause she was small, or maybe a ginger, or maybe some unholy union of the three, but Green Thumb stopped that. Turning away from the shouting idiot, Tecuma grit her teeth before spacebook was mention, that stupid childish website for idiots.

"OH MY GOD GIVE EACHOTHER YOUR FUCKBOOK PAGES AND SHUT UP!" She shouted through her own speakers, irritated at the stupid chatter and the stupid yelling and the stupid people... If she had had any recent hunts go her way no way in hell she would have been here...

Regardless, she turned to her weapon, slinging the grenade launcher over her shoulder and hefting her devil's fountain up with one augmented hand, the suit running and slowly getting used to it.

A fine specimen of Minkan genetics had been standing at the back of the crowd, not really drawing to much attention to himself as he revelled in the chaos with a faint chuckle - The mop of messy red hair that sat atop his head was quite the contrast to the black stubble across his strong and tanned jaw, the black bodysuit he wore was almost like a second skin that left little of his lean, 5'9" physique to the imagination, he may not have been as bulky as some of the other people there but it looked like he could hit just as hard.

It didn't take long for Terrins to slip into a Revenant and for the layer of synthetic muscles to hug his body as green statuses began popping up all through his hud, the knife-eared Yamataian made short work readying his weapons and was ready to go in a moments notice with a pistol strapped to his side and a bolt-action rifle nestled in the crook of his arms.

People were being so loud and obnoxious that Terrins couldn't help but let out another chuckle of amusement as he sidled up to the two Nelpleslians he saw earlier, the taller man with long hair he assumed had a strong streak of ID-SOL in his blood and the shorter woman who was trying to compensate by out-yelling those of greater stature.

"Y'know," a voice came from his armour's helmet, somewhat deep but not overly so as Terrins tried to grab their attention, "You yell the tiniest bit louder and they might be able to hear you back home on Nepleslia," the Minkan mused, still hugging that rifle close to his chest and seeming rather amused by it all.

SHUTTLE BAY

Thad moved his attention to the new crew that had decided to join the fun. "Hell you are right. Feels like a night out on the bars back home." A clear laugh came over the comms. "Names Thaddeaus, pleasure, welcome to the dream team."

As he finished talking he had finished the message and sent it over to the firecracker of a lady and the one talking about SpaceBook. It would show up in her HUD as a pop up box with a message. "Join me on Fuckbook after the mission?" With a clear "YES" "no" below the message.

The helmet of the armor would turn ever so slowly to the Minkan that had sidled up to them. Underneath the helmet her face was a picture of rage. It was everything she could do to not start throwing punches at the taller man.

"Did you just call me tiny? Cause if so we are gonna have problems, inws that include me ripping you outta your suit and throwing you out a airlock as we make entry..." her voice was even, yet there was a underlying tone of fury that seemed to rattle the outboard speakers of her suit.

The stupid message from Thad was long forgotten on her hud.

Shuttle Bay

Spacecase would straighten up. "As much as I'd love to continue squabbling like a dsyfunctional family, can we get on with the mission. Also if I may offer up I do have a large supply of Junkers that we could use to make repairs as we go along outside. However they will only last a few hours at best before the corrosion makes them useless to us at which point I will be billing you for repairs."

Spacecase would then walk off to find something he could keep himself occupied with untill the mission actually started.

"Terrins D-" the Minkan began responding with a curt nod before he was cut off, something must've gotten lost in translation or the lass had heard a trigger word or something because she certainly did seem pissed - either way he now knew not to mention the height thing, or even anything remotely related.

"I wouldn't dream of it ma'am, gotta say I wouldn't say no to a strong Nepleslian woman ripping me out of my armour but we have a job to do first," Terrins responded, his right hand idly moving from his rifle and spinning a full 360 degrees at the wrist before going back to the weapon.

"I'd love to know the name of this feisty woman though, if she'd give me at least that."

The armored head seemed to jerk back at the percieved compliment and thankfully none would see the blush under the helmet. The stuttered answer though would be a dead giveaway.

"Te-te-tecuma... Tecuma Citlalli" She offered in return as she finally spotted thenmessage from Thad. On his HUD there would be an image of two stick figures, one holding a gatling gun much like her own, and the other sitting and spinning on it.

Terrins' helmet tilted to the side slightly as he observed how much a simple compliment had done to the feisty lass, the Minkan let out a thoughtful little sound as his posture straightened up and he went to speak.

"Well just Terrins is good enough for now but it is a pleasure to meet you both, Tecuma, Thad, first round is on me - you'd be surprised what you learn from people once their inhibitions are lowered a bit," the knife-eared man offered, icey blue eyes taking in each detail they could about both people from behind his visor before Terrins turned around to face green-horn.

"I'm not one for social media but I'll happily extend the offer to you too, miss Green-Horn - for now is there anything else we should be made aware of before diving feet-first into hell?" the Minkan called out, not quite yelling as loud as people had been but wanting to make his voice heard before his attention was split between the conversations and fiddling with the rifle slung over his chest.

Frank went to the hangar to "barrow" some power armor and saw tecuma "hey cutie need some help with that?"
Frank asked as he was editing a set of power armor to make sure his left arm could still function.

As Frank approached, calling her a cutie and asking if she needed help, well that helped to snap her out of her blush and awkwardness.

"And why do you think I need help huh? Cause I'm to small and delicate to lift such a big, manly adult gun?" She asked, words full of anger yet again as she swung the gun with ease toward Frank, barrels pointing right at him. Her only hand on the gun being the one holding the handle.

"I'd love the help from such a big, strong, tall man..." Her tone told a different wtory, it told a tale of murderous intent.
