Bridge

When Chiasa got up and left the bridge, a junior bridge bunny moved to her station and took over the sensors. "Sir there are Two Ships near the star, engines cold, looks like NMX Escort/destroyers." She sent the sensor information to the tactical station as she continued to report, "There is also a radio station coming through. It seems to be coming form the target moon, but the signal is being bounced about by the gas giant's atmosphere. Should I put it up? There seems to be a new report coming through."

Bridge/Flight Deck

The ship's flight operations officer acknowledged Takyu's order and sent the launch command to the flight deck. Signal lights on the launch areas flipped from the NOGO red to the Launch green. Two pair of fighters launched and started patrolling around the fleet.

PA Bay

With Rafe showing up before Misato unsuited up and not ready to head out, sh ehad to catch her anger before it got out. Taking a deep breath she called over to Riko Bors. "Yo Bors! Take Junior here and get him suited up, get him in that set up you use, At least he'll be suited... Be quick!"

"As for the rest Check your gear and the person to your right.. Medics! Same goes for you. Meiko you'll be with me, Nunagawa you'll be with Bors there..."


Shuttle

It wasn't long after Chieko thought it, that three faceless Mindys walked up. Two looked standard, dark gray with weapons slung low in their hands. The third was painted white with a medical symbol on the shoulder, carrying medical kits and manipulator arms on it's back.

One of the infantry spoke up with a gruff female voice, "We're assigned to you... I'm Kyko, she's," Kyko pointed at the second trooper, " Cyla. The medic here is Tara." A neko of little words she fell silent and stood there waiting for what Chieko wanted from her to do.

Hangar

Nenene frowned as the three pilots she was supposed to be flying out on the scout mission with continued to babble on and take no notice of her even after she had spoken directly to them. This caused the XO to frown, climb back out of her fighter and walk towards their ships, though she paused this as Chiasa arrived and headed for a shuttle.

"Ishikawa Juni, please take the back seat in my fighter" she directed the sensor specialist to her ship, then took the last few steps needed.

"Venus Hei!" The neko said loud enough that there would be no missing it this time. "Your flight has thirty seconds to be ready for launch and follow my orders!" She commanded, eying the trio to make sure they paid attention this time.

She cocked her head slightly as Takeyu's voice sounded in her helmet. "We will be departing in a few moments, Captain" she replied wirelessly to him.

PA Bay

"Right away Princess..." Bors grumbled under his breath before turning towards the new guy. "Alright junior, lets get you something to fight in."

Walking towards the far end of the bay, Bors activated the computer to construct a new suit, talking while he worked. "The MCAS is a pretty decent suit, might take a bit to get used to but hopefully not that long... though they say you learn how to swim the fastest when you're drowning.."

The system wasn't optimized for a fast power armor assembly, but it was quick enough that hopefully they would be ready in time.

:: Moon-town 2:: Time: 5 minutes later after her earlier broadcast

Big Pugster hearing the announcement, rushes back to the Elina and literary knocks her to floor and yells at her for her announcement. “Dang you Elina! I ought to throw you out the airlock!”

Elina looked up at him, feeling the full force of his anger at her. “I-I thought that wha….”

“Don’t try to appease me!, Just make an announcement it was a false alarm! Moon-town 1 just lost a little of their Hydroponics! Am I surrounded by idiot?!” He yelled as she scrambled to make an announcement to retract the statement about the having a war with Moon-town." he yelled at her.

Elina was quaking inside her as she grabbed the mike and spoke, trying to hide the fear in her voice as she spoke to the populace. “Greeting Moon-towners. Huh… I’m sorry for the previous announcement. It seams that Moon-town 1 isn’t in dire straights as we thought it was. They can still produce food in their hydroponics. So we can be friends like before. Remember to recycle. And learn Tech!” She looked at Big Pugster, hopefully. “We have Mr Bob Bowanski here to confirm the situation here.”

She motioned Bob Bowanski to the mike. She motions him to speak. He looked like kid getting his first brand new toy. “Hi.” He says looking at her motioning him to continue. “We are still friends with our brother in Moontown 1. I didn’t know how bad the situation was over in Moon Town 1 till I had it checked out,” He smiled at his statement.

“Remember that Techs get a raise on rations.” He said as he beamed at her, motioning for her to take over.
“That was Big Bob Pugster Bowanski, our Town leader.” She gave him a quick kiss. “Remember to keep away from all access points to the Mish Dome!”

Bridge

With a smile, Takeyu walked about the top of the bridge before taking a seat in the chair. "Put it up, lets see what they are listening to..." said the captain as he clasped his hands in his lap.

The sensor officer hit a few keys and turned a digital nob up a bit, the audio came up over the speakers through out the whole bridge.

“**SHHHHHHHH**From the Big Man himself, Big Pugster Bowans **SHHHH** people from Moon Town 1 will be shot if they try **SHHHHH** into Moon Town 2. It is open season on them. The **SHHH** behind this is that they lost vast majority of their hydroponics due to a Moonquake earlier this morning.”

“Remember to take everything**SHHHH** the bodies into **POP* recycler. We want a healthy **SHHHHH** -or our future. To procreate means a **SHHHHHHHHH**tions!”

After a few moments the audio picked up again.

“Greeting Moon-towners. Huh… I’m s**SHHHHHHHH**ious announcement. It seams that Moon-town 1 is**POP** in dire straights as we thought it was. They ca **SHHHH**roduce food in their hydroponics. So we **SHHHHHH POP**. Remember to recycle. And learn Tech! We have Mr Bob Bowanski here to confirm the situation here.”
The voice changed to a one of a male. “Hi. We are still**CRACKLE POP SHHHHHHH POP** in Moontown 1. I didn’t know how bad the situation was over in Moon Town 1 till I had it checked out,”
“Remember that Techs get a raise on rations.” He said as he beamed at her, motioning for her to take over.
“That was Big Bob Pugster Bowanski, our Town leader. Remember to keep away from all access points to the Mish Dome!”

Then there was silence from the speakers.

"Sir That is all I was able to record and clean up... I'm re-running it through more filters and hoping to clean it up a bit more." She looked over to Takeyu though with wide eyes. she wasn't the only one a few of the bridge crew even had tears starting to roll down their cheeks. Things must have been worst on the moon then anyone knew.

After a pause a beeping sound started up and the tactical officer looked at the message. "SIR ENEMY VESSELS' ENGINES POWERING UP!"

P.A. Bay.

"Hai," Rain replied as she moved over to Bors, watching the man curiously from behind the visor of her helmet. It was one of the few things she could do until she and the rest of her team were given the order to deploy. And watching her team mates was a better way to occupy her mind than to worry about what they'd find on the lunar surface... The medic had studied the accounts of the Empire's wars against the Mishu, and it was decidedly not light reading. She had no desired to become another forcibly impregnated casualty...

PA Bay

Rafe followed Bors to where the computer was constructing his new MCAS suit. "Im not too worried about it, im sure they got rid of most of the bugs years ago", he said as he waited, "although I wouldn't have wanted to be the lab rat they used to test them on". He checked his gear while he waited, for what seemed like the hundredth time.
He took the opportunity to ask a question, figuring there wouldn't be much time elsewhere. "What will they have me doing on the ground?", he asked, "I suppose fighting would be the obvious answer but its always deeper than that".

Ke-T8-1b - Science Shuttle

Chieko turned around when she heard the thudding and smiled at the surprise. "I'm Chieko," she began, "Frosty is Isrun, and the radioactive one is Kana." The two Neko's waved then continued to fill and close lockers.

"By the way, who of you has actual pilot experience?" the scientist asked, "While I am sure I could do a mediocre job, someone whom has done it before would be preferable."

Bridge

Takeyu looked up from his musings, having been listening to the broadcast had made him ponder what they were up to - of course that all changed when one of the bridge bunnies announced that the enemy ships engines had gone aflame. "Looks like our exit vector was just a bit to far out, power up weapon systems, bring defenses online. Order our escorts to take up positions around our non-combat ships, I want our non-combantants in the rear of the formation; we can't afford to lose them."

"I want a firing solution on those two ships, stagger our shots; I don't want any of our ships to miss.. if they do, they are taking remedial targeting training!"

"Shoi, change of plans. We've run out of time, change loadout for offensive operations and get ready to engage the enemy."

"We're between them and the gas giant, jam their communications so they can't warn the base. But we need to deal with them quickly."

Hangar Bay

The trio had apparently missed something while getting set up, double-checking their readings as they chattered on in a casual way, while their minds and hands were still all business. The officer had been noticed, but her words had gone unheard during the scramble to prepare. Caramel realized Ise was heading towards them again just a few moments before the pair seated together, sending them a silent message of warning just a second in advance. Venus was able to turn her head to face the officer just before she was shouted out, trying to appear unfazed and prepared. Crasher's small yelp of surprise might have ruined the act, though. "Yes ma'am!" Two more replies followed after hers, followed by a trio of jerky salutes inside the confines of those snug cockpits.

"Alright girls, you heard the lady. It's showtime!" The Nodachi and Kawarime began to turn towards the main exit, carefully maneuvering to queue up behind the higher-ranking Neko's fighter, ready to follow her lead.

PA Bay

This had been their first assignment, so Meiko decided that it would be best if she stayed with her new found friend. So at that moment she decided to follow Rain quietly to Bors, she wasn't much of a talker, so she just listened which was not that bad of a thing to be honest. She had looked around the bay for a moment then looked back at Rain, a little nervous at the idea of running into the Mishu of all things.

PA Bay

Ume was already suited up and ready to go when most came in, so she gave them a light wave, not wanting to be too exaggerated. After hearing the reminder she double checked all her equipment to make sure she put it on correctly and that there were no errors, afterwards she checked up on the other soldier on her right making sure they were situated. She then turned her attention to the rest of the soldiers in the bay, looking around and watching what they do. This was the first time she got to be part of this and she was getting rather excited by it all.

P.A. Bay.

Rain cocked her head curiously as she noticed Meiko follow her over to Bors and Rafe, and the young medic shook her head lightly before gently tapping an armoured finger against her colleague and friend's helmet. "Meiko-chan," she started gently, her voice soft and calm. "You have orders to go with Misato."

P.A. Bay

Meiko paused a moment she had, in a split second of nervousness, made a slight error. She nodded lightly and headed back over to Misato, quickly. She couldn't afford to make any more errors like that so she decided to take a few breaths to calm herself down. There she stood waiting next to Misato's group.

P.A. Bay

"Fighting yes," Bors said turning around to address Rafe, "In particular killing the the things shooting you and trying not to get yourself killed, that's always a bonus. Trust me it doesn't feel to good to get shot."

It was at that moment that he noticed the MP badge on the Yamatain, as well as the new member to the group. "I mean you could always give them tickets as well, maybe tell them its against regulations to shoot at star army personnel. And when did you multiply?"

As he waited for a response, the computer indicated the the armor was assembled and began to put the set in a designated area to the right of the computer.

Shuttle

Chiasa looked at the the two soldiers Chieko referred to. "I am more than capable of operating the shuttle for this mission. I flew one of these several times prior to my elistment." She replied and moved towards the flight deck. She was a bit puzzled by the references that Chieko made to the other members, but no enough to warrant discussion.

Moon Town 2

Elina got dressed again as the music played. It was a Mish Clicking and Chant that sounded really kewl to her. It had a very nice clicking rythem to the capello chant even the Mish liked it. As she always played it every 15 hours Moon time, she would play Mish Martial Music. It seamed to appease them. Especially the Mish-crab as one of the Mish-Neko patrol leader had informed her.

Once the song was over, she gave her usual speel of Mish Propaganda on how locks were your enemy and those that used locks were the enemy of everyone. The Mish had a right to enter every domicile. They could look where ever they wanted. Moontowners be cooperative with their patrols.

Elina sighed and then looked at the scrapes of papers that she deamed news worthy for both of the Moon Towns. "Today it seamed that a Moonquake while everyone was in their sleep period. Minor damage to Moontown 1 Hydroponics and repairs are underway. Moon town 2 scince we're friends with them again. Lets help them out. Remember to recycle what is recycle able. It ables us to expand our hydroponics. More plants mean more fresh air! "

Elina smiled as she resumed looking for a new song. She sighed and chose a nice romatic Yammie song.

Shuttle

Chiasa made took the pilot seat and started pre-flighting the Kuma. Her fingers flew across the consoles with swift and efficient moves. Even when she turned to look at Chieko, "Koizumi-Hei, you going to take the Systems station or riding in back with the others?" She sent a command from the shuttle to the ship's MEGAMI to get the latest spacial data regarding location of bodies, velocity, and orbits.

Shuttle

Chiasa speaking up surprised Chieko immensely as she had no idea the science lead was anywhere nearby. The shock was so strong, that it took until the android passing by her in the entry way to the cockpit before the young woman came back to her senses. By then she began admonishing herself, figuring a Juni showing up out of absolutely nowhere was the typical way they appeared - especially if one was even remotely contemplating mischief.

"I will take the Systems station, Juni," she then managed to get out before calling into the back, "Kyko, Cyla, forget my question. Everyone buckle up!"

The young Minkan then made her way to her station and sat down, buckling herself in. "Ready when you are, Juni."
