Devastation twice over has affected the residents of the Tange Colonies, the Tange System is a remote system in the galactic southeast region of the Yamatai Star Empire which suffered catastrophic damage during the Second Mishhuvurthyar War and most recently in YE 42, a brief occupation of unwelcome Rixxikor deposited by the Kuvexians. The system was recently cleansed and liberated by the Star Army's First Expeditionary Fleet, and was promised by Taisho Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko that the Motoyoshi Clan would do for Tange what they and the Sunflower Corporation (Now part of the Yugumo Corporation) has done in the Jiyuu System.
Motoyoshi-Igarashi Yuka, the Vice Chairman of the Yugumo Corporation announced today in a public address that the Yugumo Corporation has begun to prepare relief and rebuilding crews for immediate dispatch to the colonies in that system. Several Shuryoku-Class Super Freighters left Jiyuu bound for Tange IV following her speech bound for the Tange System.
Motoyoshi Clan representatives and other political officials in the Jiyuu System, along with many colonists in the Tange System have expressed the desire to change the system's name. The Tange Clan, a former tributary of the Motoyoshi has become infamous for their hatred for Yamatai, the Motoyoshi, and the citizens of Jiyuu. The Tange Clan took responsibility for the Terrorist Plot During Lantern Festival on Jiyuu in early YE 42. Ketsurui-Motoyoshi Katsuko has taken the political lead on the issue and promises she will have it taken to the Senate.
