4月 YE 43 Kyoto, Yamatai-- As originally announced in YE 38, the Star Army is continuing with its fleet consolidation plan, which reduces overhead by merging its smaller fleets into larger, more flexible ones. Last month it disbanded the Ninth Fleet and this month the process continues with the disbanding of the Eighth Fleet. In the monthly press conference, Star Army Taisho Ketsurui Yui told SANDRA that the plan is to merge Eighth Fleet's assets and personnel into Third Fleet, which shares operational territory in the Samurai Sector.
