FYI, I'm still alive, just busy trying to get my dark fantasy serial off the ground. I'm doing all the work myself, including the cover, but it's almost ready to start.
 
Okay, Wes said he would be posting for Hanako soon to kick that off, so let's wait a bit more for the boss man to do his thing. :) I wish Raz wasn't inactive or this would be a lot easier.

Glad to hear it Night! Your hard work will no doubt be rewarded. If your character is well enough or you have the time, maybe you could also join the rescue...
 
Just got back from the con last night! I got to hang out with @Nashoba in real life. We went some cool panels, hung out with some sci-fi authors, and went to Hooters together (which temporarily lowered my IQ due to me being easily distracted by booty in hotpants). I will get a post in asap (I'm at work now though). Thanks, guys.

Speaking of people easily distracted by the female form, can we somehow get Sam into a position to RP again?
 
Wow sounds like you had a lot of fun, Wes! I'm happy to hear it. Hopefully that has refreshed and revitalized you (and if we see a new SAOY uniform hotpants, we'll certainly know where that inspiration came from). ;)

Well, I figure that Sam wouldn't take too long to heal his injury, right? It would be nice to get the whole infantry team together the way it is supposed to be. Maybe we can assume that he gets out of the tube of his own volition, hearing that the team is deploying and figuring "hey maybe I can get a peep of them suiting up" or something similarly motivated. :p
 
Not only did I have fun, but I also told some people about Star Army and left a lot of Star Army business cards around.

If we have to magic his injury a little, fine. It's been like a month OOC. I'd prefer someone else lets him out, as the containment areas are supposed to be able to, you know...contain stuff.
 
@Samael I'm busy, but I'm hoping to squeeze a post in soon. And The Butcher does as the Butcher pleases.

@Wes I love the Star Army business cards. I would never have found this place without them. May I ask what Con you were at?

I send 10 of them out with every patch I send to donators (5 to overseas members, due to weight costs).

Concarolinas. Unfortunately I couldn't go to Momocon because it was the same weekend.
 
Aww, I need to get me a pack of those business cards, too. I know a few good bulletin boards in the big city gaming places to pin them to that may get you fresh interest.

Also, what shall our infantrywomen Akiashiro-hei and Miyako-hei do? Are they well enough to maybe deploy to the BBQ site in place of Natsumi et al on the shuttle?

You missed Antonia Stark there.. she is in the shuttle too.
 
I'm still around, just took some time while things were slow to try and catch up elsewhere. I'll try to get back up to speed this week.
 
Anyone who doesn't have a straightforward assignment should just latch on to one of the other teams.
