stunned a bit, but no, if your armor had taken damaged I would have said so.

Yoshiro you may have jumped the gun a bit, but I'll re-write my post around it. It's my own fault for taking so damn long. :(

I need some time. Nash, can you wait until my post tomorrow before posting up something? I've been really busy helping my room mate out, fixing up some Tia stuff, and getting a whole slew of job interviews.

I'll have my post up tomorrow, at the latest.

There are 22 Civilians of which 8 are injured, 6 are healthy, and 8 dead

There are 6 NMX nekos, 1 dead, 2 injured, 3 healthy.

As for the vent, there is an emergency damper that can seal it in the event the dome was breached.

Ooh yummy. Wait a tick... if we seal it, does it cut off our air supply? If not, where does our air come from?

Please please please let there be a kit or two on the APC.

EDIT: I also want to add that the more I think about it, the more I feel really uncomfortable, personally, with allowing this kind of execution to take place (if it does). Even if its just fictional NPCs. Like it compromises some moral or ethical principles. Nothing to do with Sharp at all. It's just that I don't believe (as some on IRC do) that the SAoY must act like the IJA (Imperial Japanese Army) in all respects.

Nothing to do with the IJA and everything to do with the safety of the team. Are you familiar with the Geneva Convention in real life? If a combat unit cannot accept an enemy's surrender because it would endanger themselves, they don't have to accept it -- and can (and do) treat the enemy surrendering as combatants.

Now, SARP has no Geneva Convention, but the principles still apply and it'd be asinine for any military to force a unit to accept an enemy's surrender when it would endanger lives to accept that surrender. It's not so much an 'execution' as a continuation of combat. I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable, and your character has no need to participate at all. Arkase, however, has to put the safety of the civilians, his team, and the APC first. He can't leave 5 Nekovalkyrja in any condition just sitting in the APC without any restraints.

Nekovalkyrja, by their own creation, are weapons. Therefore, they are dangerous just in principle.

Would I execute people who surrendered to me in real life? I have no clue. But we're roleplaying, and there is a distinct separation between fantasy and reality to me. I'm not uncomfortable writing a fake action based on real reasons.

Anyway...

Edit: Cool. They get to live. Also, there are no prisoner kits. There are Survival Kits, though, and they have rope.

I only mentioned the IRC stuff about the IJA because it was the overwhelming response from the people there. Killing prisoners is okay cos we're the IJA, etc.

In the end, you are right about the Geneva Convention and this is all role-playing and theoretical. So no need for us to argue. Just wanted to share my personal view since we were obviously spending a fair amount of time on the point of prisoner handling. We can agree to disagree and respect each others' viewpoints, no?

EDIT: Where am I taking them? APC or Customs? In three minutes, I can get them to the APC but I have no idea where the Customs Office is. Would it better for the squad to barricade inside the room and seal the vents while Takamori gets the prisoners into the Yusou and guard them and Shina?

The Customs Office is right off the area you are in. The NMX Neko pointed to it.

I continually find myself surprised about the short sightedness of people on this site. Apparently, they can't read beyond the first line of a paragraph or pull from context. Yamatai is not the IJA -- merely themed off of it and western military forces. Even the IJA took prisoners, but how they treated them was absolutely horrible though.

As well, Arkase isn't a Samurai, and cares very little for the Bushido Code (and he could care less for the perverted version the IJA used to motivate its troops. Especially since it isn't used in Star Army.)

Anyway. We can agree to disagree I suppose. Not sure how we're disagreeing, though -- Arkase is Arkase, and I am Me. How I play Arkase is totally different from myself. I think I would volunteer to watch the prisoners and escort them too, were it a possibility. :(

Away team,
A survey of the Customs facility shows that it has been looted, weapons etc removed. However, the containment area for prisoners appears to be intact.
