Maintenance Shaft
It had been a long day thus far, working on the ship. He'd been given the dreary task of inspection, rather than fixing anything. Tucked away in one of the many maintenance shafts of the shift, Tal`Dar didn't really pay attention to the on-goings of the ship as it mattered little when you were a knuckle-dragger, assigned to do the dirty work of keeping the ship afloat. He didn't mind, however, in fact, it was in dream job, to be able to have access to the very workings of a space-bound ship.
It was around the time that he felt the ship start to shake that he realized that something might be amiss. He turned off his tool, and took our his earplugs. Upon hearing the announcements of the ship getting ready for launch, he knew it was far too late to make his exit from the ship. This was going to get interesting, he thought.
After serious consideration of what he should do, he took he most likely path and decided to present himself to the ship's captain and allow him to make the decision. However, this would happen after he was done with his inspections. Situation or not, he still had a job to do and needed to make sure the boat would fly without problems.
