Shar tried to scratched her forehead, which one ended in her scratching her helmet. Mindlessly she took out a cigarette and lighted it, watching the sensors. She blew out the smoke and wondered what it could be when he superior came in. She did not bother to hide the cigarette.

"Well," she stated and checked the readings again. "Whatever that it is, it is hot as hell. I am picking up to 300 degrees."

Infirmary

Anas'tasiya watched the monitor as the patient began to crash. Rather than risking releasing the needle, which could of done more internal damage she carefully, using the scope still for guidance - finished withdrawing it, and the scope from the patient's body, covering the wound with gauze . Her movements were swift, but not broken and panicked. She reached over, turning on one of the oxygen tanks and checked the line for the mask and secured it properly over her patients nose and mouth after leaning down and checking the airway. The flow of oxygen would hopefully prevent the lungs from collapsing.

She checked the patients heart rate and used her hypospray to inject a mild stimulant, it would hopefully help pull the patient out of a state of shock as she charged the defibrillator just in case then checked the monitor again, looking for signs of other internal damage or the measures she had taken starting to work. The small hole that had been cut for the endoscopic surgery, thankfully would be safe from infection beneath the sterile gauze.

"Come on..." she muttered quietly, almost as if encouraging her patient. She hoped for a quick rebound or more data to go on. The needle resting on the surgical tray.

"Aye ma'am" Def'leor said turning back to her station. She started the launch sequence. Power to the propulsion systems was transferred at her command.

Def'leor accessed the ship intercom, "Attention all hands. We are launching."

She then switched to the flight control. "Flight Control this is NSV Gam'Trosha, we are launching." she sent. A second later the flight control responded.

She eased the Gam'trosha up slowly and offered a brief prayer to whatever entities watched over crews. She programmed her IDT to give her real time status of vital systems. Not wanting to have a repeat of not knowing something was up with vital systems until they were not responding.

After a minute the ship cleared the berth completely. "We are clear of the berth Ship Mistress, climbing to flight level and heading to the training grounds." she called out as she increased thrust and brought the ship about and into an accelerating climb.

Tal'Dar nodded with acceptance and took his leave from the bridge. He made his way down the engineering to report to the officer he was told to. X'Muyeia Quin'trema Xeui'na, he hadn't heard the name, but for now, it would be the name of his commanding officer. As a C'Baruce, he was used to taking orders, and would do whatever the ship required.

Cargohold

The reek of Booze was growing stronger in Zu'rel, "Everyone back up, give me at least 10 meters clearance," pointing at a someone at random, "Contact the bridge and report, that I fear explosives down here," Drawing his blade Zu'rel poked the content of the crate before drawing back himself with a bit of the rations on his blade. turning back to the folks that were helping him, "Where can I get this analyzed"

Qyu'amene soon saw what was happening. Some Contraband had been detected and for some odd reason the fighters in this cargo-hold were determined to find it. She milled about inspecting the crates on the first floor. She moved up just in time to watch the sword get drawn.

Qyu'amene's long face contorted to an expression of really. A sword against a box of explosives? She realized these were soldiers and not scientists. Well the sword poke did not cause the box to blow up, and judging by the heat reading it was far to hot to warrant any kind of insulation on the wiring.

Qyu'amene's tail flicked out and smacked the box hard enough to send it into the nearest bulk head. "You can get it analyzed right here." The Mye'leke girl said cheerfully, and smiling brightly.

"I don't see what has you all so jittery, if it is a bomb then it would blow up and we would all be dead. Then we would not have much to be worried about."

Sa'kira could feel the brief lift of the ship as it headed up into the air; there was a faint hum coming from the engines before they began to settle down.

Def'leor IDS showed the clouds above them and the data provided by Levi showed the currente direction that the winds were coming from, along with new weather information showing the winds at being almost one hundred and eighty miles per hour.

On Levi's screen, more information began to come in about the storm, it was getting stronger and spreading out further over the continent.

Infirmary

The monitor showed the person's readings returning to normal, although the left lung had successfully collasped and would have to be replaced.

Cargohold

When Zu'rel's blade poked into the package, a hole appeared where a white - foamy - liquad began to trickle out onto the floor.

Behind the group, the My'leke instructor casually stroud up to them and sniffed the air, it was certainly rich in a boozy smell that made her place a paw on her nose; it was much to strong for her senses.

Inside Shar's tank, her instructor rubbed his chin for a moment. "C'bar, take us to the lift place and bring us up to the second level, let's see if we can locate which 'container' is giving off that heat signature.

Engineering

After a short trip from the bridge, Tal'Dar arrived at engineering as ordered. He glanced around at anyone who could be X'Muyeia Quin'trema Xeui'na whom he was ordered to report to.

Instead of waiting for formalities, he spoke, "Tal'Dar Ara'Sil reporting for duty in engineering," he exclaimed and waited for a response. He knew engineering was always sort of a hectic area most of the time, so his announcement wouldn't come as a surprise.

Zu'rel was piss that all he found was smuggled booze. "You," he pointed to a marine just standing about, "Please have this sealed and labeled, I'll be back to deal with it latter."

"Well if it was a bomb and it goes off," he was using his sword to pointed at Qyu'amene, "We would have failed our duties, and that is one of the worst things we could have happen. Anyways let's follow the tank, the driver mentioned they saw a heat source."

Zu'rel then proceeded to follow the tank, it was headed somewhere so, he figured it knew something he didn't.

Def'leor accelerated the Gam'trosha to get to the training site as quickly as possible. She also applied lateral thrust to counter the increasing wind.

Weather conditions are deteriorating and yet they expect to conduct training.

She turned to Sa'kira, "ETA to destination 10 minutes. Ship Mistress what kind of training are we going to be performing in the middle of this storm?"

Levi looked over the sensor data of the conditions outside the ship and knew that the storm was not only worsening but was increasing in size as well to the point that it will eventually cover the entire continent. You don't see storm of this size or intensity on Levia except maybe once every decade or maybe a century he thought momentarily remembering his homeworld; before returning to the task at hand.

"The storm is growing worse Shipmistress; in size and in intensity it will soon cover the entire the continent. "We launched at a good time relatively speaking"

"Def'leor not to second guess your piloting but watch for the wind shear, the turbulence is only going to get worse"

Bridge

"I will do my best to compensate, kindly provide live wind speed and vector to my IDT. This is going to get interesting, I hope no one has a problem with motion sickness." she replied as fingers danced across her controls as the Gam'trosha yawed slightly to port.

Cargo Hold

Tite'Yanus continued to follow Zu'rel around, not really giving much input into the rations. He was afraid that it would simply be smuggled alcohol, but he did have to admit that it didn't hurt to double check. At the mention of following the tank Tite just shrugged and waited for the Shukaren to begin walking before following behind.

"Lead the way."

Infirmary

Anas'tasiya watched the monitors, noticing that the patient's life signs had stabilized. She said quietly, "The lung is going to need to be replaced, but doing it now would likely cause too much trauma to the patient." She then removed the gauze and sterilized the area around the incision she made to do the endoscopy and started to work on sealing the hole. "He will need to be monitored, and stay on the oxygen until he is strong enough to face another procedure." She finished, and proceeded to place the equipment back on the tray, then waited for Euy'ica to evaluate her work.

Shar blinked few times before looking up at the officer. Did he realise this was her first time sitting in this tank. Well if anything should happen it would be his mistake. Shar took off the gunner helmet and climber down to drivers seat.

"This is my first time driving this tin-can so you should get you arse strapped in." She said to the Daur on the turret of her tank. "Sir," she added after seconds or so.

After he climbed with whatever grumbles he could have, she put on the drivers helmet and finally properly started the tank. She moved towards the place where she found the heat signature, then activated its anti-gravity drives and very slowly and carefully rose the tank to second level.

--- Cargo Hold ---

Qyu'amene followed Zu-rei and spoke her retort. "How do you figure that? Dying for our nation is not failure."

"Death with out gain is never a positive." Zur'el didn't know what to think of Qyu'amene. 'So eager to die. "It it was an explosive, and it went off, killing us, it would have damaged or destroyed the ship. We would have failed in our duty to the ship, and further more the nation. If you choose death, always look for way to sell your life for a net gain... not a loss."

Glancing at the tank, Zur'el activated his communicator and contacted the solder piloting the tanks, "What do you have on your sensors?"

Cargohold

As Shar's tank arrived on the second level, her onboard sensors would easily pick up where the heat signature was actually coming from. An onscreen prompt showed the area of the second floor, along with neatly placed crates. One crate in particular, the one nearest a door leading into the ships main corridor, was showing up as being 'red' due to a high tempreture level.

Of course, the scans also said that the container was 'sealed'.

Infirmary

"Very good," remarked the head healer as she looked at the display and typed away on it for a moment. "Now, let's try and replace that organ shall we?" she smiled.

Bridge

"Canyon runs," remarked Sa'kira as she watched a map that showed their current heading. "There will be targets for us to shot us with the ships weaponry, and ground targets for the infantry to also take pot-shots at as well, although our infantrymen will have a more 'proper' trial run later on..."

She looked up at the main viewscreen. Of course, if this storm happens to wash out the range, we might have to do 'that' instead...

"C'bar Levi," Sa'kira turned toward the soldier. "Bring up the asteriod that struck Levia please and run a deep scan on it, I also would like a mineral composition."

She then turned toward Def. "C'bar Def'leor, when we start the canyon run, I want you to use that training to help configure the ships flight controls more to your liking. Remember, with the IDS, the ship responds almost instantaneously to your inputs; it's not like regular helm controls where it takes a few seconds for the ship to respond."

Engineering

"Welcome C'baruce Tal'Dar Ara'Sil," said Quin as she looked up from her work, folding her arms over her chest while she monitored the ships systems. "I have a job for you already," the head engineer looked over at the checklist that was handed to her earlier. "I need you to take a look at the port-side main cannon, I was informed that repairs on it hadn't been fully completed yet, so please take a look at it and repair the power conduits and targetting systems."

Def'leor kept her facial expression passive when Sa'kira told her what they were doing. Flying through a canyon? In this weather? The air currents and turbulence are going to be a nightmare, and we are running with diminished engine capacity. She thought, she sent a command to the computer to pull up the survey data for the canyons that she was going to need to plot through. She realized that she was going to need one vital piece of information if she was going to do this, flight altitude.

"Mistress, what is the flight limitations for altitude during the run?"

"Giving you current data as I speak, Def'leor" Levi replied as he transferred the meteorological data to Def'leor's nav board.

"Right away ShipMistress" he returned as he switched his attention to the new task the Gam'trosha's Shipmistress had given him. After a few minutes of searching and correlating the data that Levi was looking for appeared on his holo display. Just a standard icy rock, nothing really special in it's composition at all he thought to himself.

"I'm sending the preliminary analysis to your screen now Shipmistress."
"As you can see it's composition was an ordinary stony-ice asteroid but the trace elements indicates is was extra-solar in nature...it came from outside our solar system" he contined
