Aaki's Office

The conversation between the diplomats quickly flowed on into matters that Mahsa could barely claim that she had even a basic understanding of, it was rather impressive actually that they could easily bring up such matters and understand the complexity behind them, but more than anything the confidence they held in such a discussion. It showed one her face that she was somewhat concerned about the numbers, Veyrinite was very valuable but the price seemed rather steep, of course, she did not make any mention of this herself, even when her eyes met Aaki's.

When the tension eased a little she turned her gaze back to Altair. She gave him her messaging address so he could send the information. "You'll be the first Nepleslian that I give a massage to. So the first time might not be perfect, but I'm sure you will enjoy it."

"That is it, I thank you for your time and excitement in our future together. Would you like me to write up a formal trade agreement for both parties to sign off on?" Aaki asked, blue eyes wide as a hand went to her overly large necklace and started to play with it absentmindedly.

She, honest to Saints, loved to write up agreements. The one with the Gartagens had been more than fun and this one would be just as intriguing to put words to. A smile flickered on her face, hoping to hear a, "Yes."

Aaki's Office

"▒That would be helpful...▒" Mito took another drink of the native tea to sooth her nerves, somehow managing to hide a certain feeling of defeat. At least a contract would let her friends know exactly what the Locksmiths agreed to. "▒Your hospitality has been most refreshing, might I add. Thank you.▒"

This was certainly going to be an interesting experience. The Yamatai attack on Halna had been partially based on the fact the space cats couldn't find a specific person to blame. Now, there was a specific individual taking direct credit for his actions, in this case, but it was an AI hidden away behind a wall of warped space...

Did this mean that it would land on Mito, and her organisation, to go knocking on his bulkhead, if the machine did not deliver?...
