RP: Fort Ready Class 1

The Mishhu on the right dropped down just in time to avoid Kai's head shot. Seeing all the armors revealed from the gunshots caused the Mishhu to re cloak and try to move back behind a wall. Before it made it however, Krasus's bullet scrapped the side of the creature and caused a deep wound. Its cloaking fluctuated and then the creature faded from existence again once it compensated for the wound.

The Mishhu next to the neko turned to face Devonus, but a little too late. Devonus's sword slashed through the Mishhu right to the side of its head. An unearthly sound came from the creature, as Kumiko's and Yoroko's bullets followed the slash and the Mishhu was killed in a heap of mangled flesh.

Noboru was not as lucky. Once Noboru had become sloppy with his shooting, the Mishhu used the opportunity to attack him. Three tentacles had hit him, one in the left arm and two in the chest. He coughed up blood on his visor, but the hemosynthetic core sealed around the wound and started to stop the blood flow. It wasn't a fatal wound, but his fighting would be very limited.
 
"CRAP! Noboru is registered as hit! And aim low they know how to duck!" Kai called over the comms, switching his fire to the mishhu that appaered near Noboru and taking time placing rounds near what appeared to be weak points on the disgusting beast AIES, Keep track of the other Misshu and armors for me, ok? I wanna be informed the moment something happens he thought while firing to save the class 2 recruit.
 
"Right Kai, I'll keep track. Little bastards... Devonus be careful now damn you. Lets not have anyone die today."
He fired off another round, aiming for the same Misshu, breathing out as he did so and shifting his weight to the side so the recoil would push him onto his back.
Once he was on his back he rolled to the side and set up another firing position a few feet away.
"Can someone slag the untouched one? And whats Noboru's status?"
 
"I'll try and light him up for you Krasus. Yoroko responded. Yoroko then pointed her SLAG at the untouched Misshu, Breakfast time Yoroko thought as she fired the SLAG and had the AIES fire both pods of Mini-Missiles at the untouched misshu. Don't forget your orange juice.
 
With the Mishnu now scattering away from the wounded neko, Yuril felt a lot more confident in actually being able to fire off a SLAG round without injuring her comrade. She knew one Mishnu was wounded, and one not but Yoroko had that covered... Noboru had been wounded, but the neko was a little iffed at his attitude towards saving the wounded neko and she wasn't really thinking about him.

Rather then use her SLAG, the neko decided to remove the attachment and stick to the LASR, quickly moving to deattach the attachment, and place in a live clip she had brought Yuril quickly scanned the area for the remaining two Mishnu and prepared to fire on whichever one was closer.
 
The splattering of blood on Noboru's visor didn't slow him down an inch. WIthout hesitating, Noboru grappled onto one of the tentacles and pulled hard enough to jerk in towards him, intending to pay him back for the damage the squid-pimple had done to him.

"I'm fine. Someone kill this son of a bitch for me."
 
Kumiko, observing the fight from a distance, couldn't see exactly what was happening, but she slowed her breath, and zeroed in on the unhurt Mishhu. After about 3 seconds of steadying her shot, she shot 3 times in quick succession, all three times for the lower torso.

I'll help with the unwounded, and if you need cover tell me. I'm out of the way, so I'm in no danger.

Then she set her AIES to alert of any enemies detected outside of the bay. She set about slowing her breath for more shots after all of this.

that was the only message he sent to the wounded Neko pilot as he dug his sword out of the dead squid. He turned his back on her and looked over at the one that had attacked Noburo. He couldn't help but smile at the irony.

So how does it feel, Getting stabbed by a carnivourous octupus, maybe i should let him inject you with his eggs? It would be quite humorous to watch you squirm with thousands of little squids swimming around in you chest, don't you think?

But of course knew he couldn't let that happen, never mind he wasn't sure exactly how the Mishu reproduced, but he just wanted to freak Noburo out a little bit.

With that he ran forward aiming for the tentacles gappled by noburo and the ones floating around ready to strike.
 
"Now is not the time for your emo-prick bullshit, Devonus. So take that talking and shove it up your ass, because now is not the fucking time. Noboru mentally spat the message while he grappled with one of the tentacles, trying to get a shot in with his right hand.
 
The Mishhu that attacked Noboru did not expect to have their tentacles grabbed by its prey and caused the creature to miss its next attack. Before it could recover and attack again, Devonus's sword cut the attacking tentacles off with his sword. With nowhere to flee, the Mishhu was forced to accept Kai's bullets and fall to its death.

The other Mishhu was not as stupid as the other one and managed to stay behind the cover it found before. It still received some damage from the SLAG, but the bullets just pinged off the nearby wall. Yoroko's AIES was intelligent enough not to waste the valuable Micro Missiles on the wall. While hiding behind the wall, it was hard to tell what the Mishhu was doing. Back-up could be arriving for the enemy.

The sensors were quiet for Kumiko as she observed the fight from a distance, watching one creature fall at her teammates hands, while the other fled.

"Target, 6 o'clock, 5 meters!" her AIES suddenly shout. She managed to roll to the side and barley miss a few tentacles aiming to kill. She looked up and saw a Mishhu readying its next attack.
 
Yuril's AIES alerted her to the fact another Mishu had entered the fray, and it was dangerously close to Kumiko. The neko mentally cursed and decided to leave the Mishnu seeking cover to her teammates, and focus on gunning down the newly arrived Mishnu.

Dammit. Getting careless... Have to keep an eye on the radar, no more surprises!
 
"Two down One- SHIT no, two to go! we've got another Mishhu on our hands" Kai called out over the Comms. Noting Yuril, Devonus, and Noboru were closest to Kumiko he called to them "You three, go help Kumiko with that one, The rest of will take the other.

This is like back home, but, somethings different, we could actually die now Kai thought to himself, realising how difficult a situation they were in. "All right, everyone else, follow me, we're getting the cornered squid!" The Yamataian called out, making a rash decision and moving into the hangar ahead of everyone else.
 
"I can't see the hidden squid... I'll help Kumiko. Careful guys, they say dogs are quite ferocious when cornered."
Krasus took aim at the squid attacking Kumiko, breathing out and firing at its center of mass. He deployed his drones to keep a lookout for any other surprises.
Krasus fired twice more and moved to another spot quickly.
 
"Let's flank him, if we both shoot at angles we won't hit eachother." Yoroko sent to Kai as she ran parrallel ready to begin flanking. Yoroko didn't quite like the idea of cornering a misshu, she had heard bad things about them when they weren't cornered....she didn't want to imagine one that was.
 
"I'm gonna try and hit the mishhu in cover down behind where-ever-it-is-in-the-hangar." Noboru said, taking cover behind a small row of Power Armors.
 
As the deadly creature loomed over Kumiko ready to kill her, a hail of bullets from her right sent the Mishhu tumbling to the ground in a heap of flesh. Krasus's and Yuril's bullets could not have done that much damage, not to mention it was from the wrong direction.

"YEAHHHHH!" they heard over their radio. Yasuo's armor landed on top of the freshly killed Mishhu and scanned the area. Behind him was a squad of about twenty other armors from the main base.

"Yasuo..." Kiyoshi mumbled. He gave a sigh. "Your an idiot..." He turned to his squad mates, who were still cornering the Mishhu. With the back-up they received, taking out the lone soldier was no problem and was more of a massacre than a challenge.

Once the situation was under control, the recruits put the weapons back on the shelves, disembarked their armors and got their clothes back on. The wounded Neko was removed from her armor and transported back of an emergency vehicle. From her current condition, it seemed she would pull through. Two of the instructors pulled up in military cars and motioned them to get in. About six of the instructors were still in armors watching the area, making sure it wasn't still hot.
 
After a few minutes of searching and trying on oddly sized uniforms, Kai found his own and put it on. he wandered over towards the nearer of the jeeps and leaned against it, calling for Yoroko and Yuril "Hey, guys, you gonna come or not? I think they want us for something" he said, motioning to the patiently waiting vehicles.
 
Yoroko slipped into her uniform, making sure not to make it look sloppy as she did so.

"Yea" Yoroko replied as she ran over to the jeeps and got in the same one Kai was leaning on. This has been one crazy day Yoroko thought to herself as she reflected on the day that had started so innocently and full of rest. This definetly wasn't what I thought would happen when I got up this morning. Yoroko thought as she looked out at the corpses of the Misshu lying on the ground. Leaning forward Yoroko asked the driver of the Jeep "Is the neko that was wounded going to be okay?"
 
Breathing a bit hard from her close call, Kumiko dismounted(?) from the armor and put her uniform back on. She was still a bit shaky, but she appeared to be calming down quickly. Hearing Kai, she glanced over, and began to follow him. As she arrived, she heard Yoroko's question, and turned her head, interested to hear the answer.
 
The neko let out a breath she hadn't realize she had been holding. Eventually, Yuril found herself quickly (and with a rather large blush on her face) searching for her uniform and slipping it on (Although she noted with embarrassment that in her haste to reach the fort she had forgotten to include the undergarments associated with it and was stuck using the swimsuit in place of them).

Quickly catching up to her two teammates the silver-haired neko offered her opinion.

"She should be fine. The wound looked bad but well...", the neko patted her chest, "We're pretty tough. I hope she'll be fine though..."

It was really Yuril's soft spot, that is her other Nekovalkryja sisters.
