It didn't matter if Miss Popjoy was deemed "friendly" or not, Tweak still didn't like being touched, but she held her reaction to pull away in check. What kind of 'improvements'? She didn't have time to vocalize the question before Cassefin took her turn at commenting.MoonMan said:"Yes, yes!" Purina agreed vehemently with Claire in regard to Tweak's state of dress. Although she would never say it out loud to anyone present, the pink-haired administrator loathed Tweak's super-conservative style of dress, practical for her position or not. She was even more vexed by her choice to wear such clothing for an occasion that simply didn't fit the bill for need of such utility. "I believe we can make several improvement, Miss Tweak," Purina spoke bluntly, lightly tugging at the hem of the neko's sleeve.
Tweak blushed faint pink at the compliment -- at least that comment confirmed she worked here, at most it let her know her work was appreciated by the administration -- but then her face returned to being white as she balked. Cassefin wanted to come along?!MoonMan said:Cassefin, for her lack of enthusiasm, still seemed like she was intent on tagging along. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to browse. But don't think you can buy just anything; any clothing too risque for the Cirrus' dress code would simply be a unnecessary temptation," Miss Montreal justified her accompaniment with a snooty expression. "Despite Tweak's excellent work, I grant no exceptions to the off-duty dress code. I will make sure what you all purchase is within my standards."
"But-but-but...!"
This was getting crowded. From three people to five (not counting herself), and most of them were the reason she was dressed the way she was to begin with! Tweak tried to hang back and wait for the group to pass her, glancing at Claire with a pleading look.MoonMan said:"UH!" George blurted out as the group of ladies began to make their way. "I guess, uh, me an' Lenny'll follow you all. I've been looking for a..." the gangster-looking Nepleslian paused for a moment, looking between Lenny, Tweak and the rest of the group, as if realizing he had very little in the ways of finishing his sentence without many serious questions about his personal preferences coming into view.. "... a hat. A good hat. Yeah."
Lenny simply nodded once behind his enormous thick-framed sunglasses.
