Super late, but it's great to have someone else on the team! I think I saw your sign up earlier, and - fingers crossed - I think your character and mine should get along splendidly.

Hopefully I'm not overstepping my bounds, @CadetNewb, but I figured it was safe to assume that Aya could make it past the phalanx (she's a very good runner after all!).

I have to say that it looks like the dice gods are bitterly divided into various fandoms it seems! Keep in mind that you're going to have to think fast and hard and try to outwit your enemies in this fight to gain an edge and defy their will. A few of you are in a bad position that'll only get worse as they drag on, while others really, really got lucky! Or was particularly ballsy.

@Syaoran - just to make sure, the Hobgoblin that Dimitri managed to shoot in the leg is now throwing lead bullets at him with a rope sling from behind his shield. They're using 20% ballistics gel, rather than the normal 10% that's needed to simulate flesh, so this target is actually tougher. Even then, keep in mind that the Romans considered it to be one of the most painful weapons to die to, and had a special tool made specifically to dig the lead bullets out of people.
 
Wow, I was seriously expecting poor Aya to become a Neko-kabob! Obviously fate looks out for fools. Expect a post Monday or Tuesday, I'm now back at college so my schedule's more hectic.
