Re: Recess
The Abwehran Front
Aegis listened to the words of the Abwehran, nodding softly before she spoke; "Vielen Dank, Frau Ministerin." in her best Abwehran, as she gave a soft smile; "I will pass along the good news to the High Priest, he will be excited to know that we've managed to make some good come out of this conference." she spoke with a soft smile, as she took a sip of her beverage. "I should inform him now, and, track down my associate. I left him to speak to one of the Iromakuanhe, and have not seen him since." With that, Aegis stood from her seat, before bowing her head softly; "Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute Minister." with that, Aegis excused herself to go track down Dico.
The Iromakuanhe Front
"Mmm, since I've found myself in the spot of the third wheel, I will leave you two to your exploration of art." With a soft bow of his head, Dico stepped back in a retreat, before he turned and walked away. He was defeated at that moment, there was no doubt about it, and it left him feeling a sense of full on anxiety... he was going to have to answer for his mistakes...
Representatives United
Outside of the bar, as Dico worried on his anxieties, his concerns were validated as Aegis strode up to him, picking him out of a crowd as she closed the distance and spoke in their native dialect; "How fared your end of the operation?"
Words stuck in Dico's throat, as he looked to Aegis, and could only speak the truth; "Terribly, the Yamataian representative weaseled her way into some sort of artistic review with the Iromakuanhe." He looked away, ashamed of his failure as he clenched his jaw.
There was a laugh from Aegis at that point, as she reached out and clasped Dico on the shoulder; "Then that shall be her undoing." Aegis spoke, releasing a laugh as she instilled a full on confusion in Dico's mind. "From the first days we have dealt with the Yamataians, one thing has stood out more than anything, they are a people without a true culture. Everything they have his borrowed, or faked. Anyone can see it, and if the Iromakuanhe have any sense, they'll see it too." Aegis was quite sure of the matter, as she gave Dico a nod. "Go power up the communication link, I will speak to the High Priest about our successes and partial failure." With that, Aegis gave Dico a nudge in the direction of the airlock where their ship was docked.
