Gyles shook himself out of his daze and turned to reply to Adrian. "Sorry about that. I've lost some blood and the painkillers just kicked in." He answered, tapping his visor and noting the drip of blood beneath his sleeve was still going. "Yeah, they are."

"Shit," Adrian mumbled, bending down for a better look at the wound, "Alright, you want me to get the fuckers out now, or you want to wait for the hospital?"

The medic had already gotten his switchblade and lighter out, should the request for attention be immediate.

"I'm not sure how bad it is, but alright. Just pull em' out and bind the wound." Gyles responded, his mind unaware of the painful wound on his left. Doped up on painkillers, he could actually barely feel the wound, but on the other hand, could barely move it. His attempts were fruitful, but increased the pace of the downpour, so he ruled out being to move the arm any time soon being a possibility.

The police officers took the awkward silence to their question as a "no" as they rounded up the surviving porn stars and cuffed their wrists behind their backs with thin, flex cuffs before they led the naked men outside to the the squad cars.

The Los Apagos police officers weren't as gentle as they could've been in their handling of the men. But they were kind enough to the poor fluffer girl to let her put on some clothing before they cuffed her and placed her into a separate squad car with a female officer.

A team of crime scene technicans started processing the scene- photographing the computer screen and labeling all the cables before unplugging the rigs; documenting and gathering everything they could to form the case.

A couple medics came into the main room to remove the dead; horribly wounded and remove the horribly wounded suspects. One medic- a pretty girl with blonde hair and sea green eyes walked over to the injured Gyles and Adrian and asked, "Let me dress that for you and get you cleaned up. Unless... you'd prefer your friend to field dress it with a knife, that is."

"On second thought... I'll let you deal with it. Don't need to shoot me full of anything, I've already been hit with a dose of Endurance." Gyles told the pretty medic, smiling slightly painfully. He glanced back at Adrian and grinned. "You think you can tell the guys I'll be running a little late, and save me a spot?"

"Sure," Adrian said, stepping over and around Gyles. When he was behind him, he simply mouthed several words. Nothing harmful, of course. Other than "He might rape you." With that, he widened his eyes, nodded seriously, and walked away, allowing the poor girl to come to her own conclusions.

Ran stood back up, rather unconcerned that the police were now doing their own little thing in the room. Picking up his cigarette butts so that he would not be lumped in with the prisoners in the room, he placed them in his pants pockets and watched Rose leave with Kagura. The whole drive to drink with the rest of the Marines was gone, and caught up in a horrible feeling, the Chief only felt like prolonging his own sort of depression brought on by this by following Kagura. "I'm gonna go along with them." Ran walked over to Adrian, handing him 100 DA. "Buy me a bottle of schnapps and keep the rest."

Lighting up another cigarette, he trailed far behind Rose and past the medic that had just arrived, her prettiness lost on him at the moment. Seeing the two enter the ambulance, he paused for a moment, thinking up any conceivable reason why he should tag along.

"...I'm her superior, after all..." He sighed, knowing this would be an absolutely shaky source of motivation for him to tag along. Steeling himself for a possible physical and verbal assault by Rose, the Chief grabbed the door handle on the Ambulance and opened the door, careful to not open it so wide, and to block the view of Kagura from the public with his own body. "I'm coming with Kagura. I'd better not get shit from you, or I swear it, I'll pop a .45 in your leg and call it an 'accidental dishcharge', got it?" With that, the Chief got up into the Ambulance and quickly closed the door after throwing his cigarette out of it, looking away from Rose and especially Kagura.

"... I'm going back to the Square." Harrison had been pretty much silent the entire time, cradling the butts of his guns in his heavy knuckles. His face looked somewhere between livid and normal. He would rather have shot the pornstars on the spot than let them get away with it.

"Ran. Cover for me, i'm gonna find some quiet little nook somewhere and stay there." With that, he got back on his airbike and rode away into the night.

The medics in the ambulance with Kagura and Rose shrugged at the Chief. "Probably a good idea, Chief. We'll let the police know so they can follow us to the hospital. Once we get there, we'll be having a nurse go through with the procedures for a rape victim.... so as much as we want to clean her up now- we'll wait so we can gather the evidence.. BUT... here- wrap her in this blanket." The EMTs handed Ran two blankets, one for Rose and one for Kagura.

Meanwhile, the blonde medic escorting Gyles to the other ambulance looked at Adrian strangely, wondering if the scene they interrupted had disturbed the marine. "All right, let's get you patched up. What's your name, sweetie?"

"Get...out." Rose didn't look up, her voice was disturbing, far different from the back and forth that she and the Chief had earlier. She had stopped crying, at least but felt like she was suddenly back in that room trying to watch over Kagura. "There's going to be a lot more injuries if he's not out of here..s-soon. J-just wait till you see what she'll do if she wakes up n' sees him." She told one of the medics, even if it was hers she had stopped caring.

Besides if he wanted to shoot her with jumpy, armed police around that was fine by her. His funeral. Without his uniform he just looked like a thug.

The young woman's left hand began to open and close. Her right arm and shoulder were really starting to hurt from what she'd done to the door earlier, but all she could think about is the asshole who climbed into the ambulance. For Thorn, he was probably the second worst person to be in there.

"I'm sure he'll behave himself. You've just been through a hard time but you'll both be okay. We won't anyone hurt ya, Lucky, let's get going," The medic reassured Rose as he called up to the front to his partner who finally started up the engine to get them to the hospital.

Kinney secured the doors to the ambulance shut and sat behind the cab on one of the jump seats and gestured for the Chief to sit across from him. "Chief, you can buckle in over here. The girls are probably just distraught from what they've been through. We're kind of the enemy at the moment, it's best not to antagonize them too much."

"Young lady, you can secure yourself to the gurney or in that jump seat next to it if you'd like." The medic said very kindly as he took out a data pad and did a quick photograph of all the people in the ambulance and ran a identity check on all of them to make sure there wasn't a warrant out for any of their arrests.

"Howabout you toughen the fuck up, for Kagura's sake? She'll be even more distraught waking up to see you causing even more commo-" His retort was interrupted by the Medic talking to Rose. All for the best, probably. He didn't need to piss the woman off with Kagura nearby. But then, Rose had a point. If Kagura was pissed off at him to begin with, he would most certainly be a target of some horrible after-rape rage. "Fuck it." He thought. "I can always get Adrian to revive me as long as she doesn't get my head, or if he's not still pissy at me from earlier."

Sighing, Ran scooted over to one of the jump seats and buckled in, not saying a thing about his picture being taken.

Harrison slowed to a stop about two blocks from Apogee Square and set down, stepping off the bike surprisingly gracefully. Things were quiet, to say the least. A neon sign glinted in the distance pointing the direction to Apogee Square. He leaned against the wall, clasped his gun belts and stood there, quiet, his head facing the ground.

It was as if the green-haired woman didn't hear him, or whatever Ran had said really hadn't sunk in far. Quietly she secured herself to the gurney, the gore that had covered most of her skin from the front and one side was starting to dry. That meant she smelled a little better, but between her and Kagura it didn't mean much for the other passengers. It was only going to feel worse until she got cleaned up.

The blank look in her eyes settled in purple's direction, resting their listlessly. Her left hand trembled until she could grab onto the side of the gurney, only a twitch showing thereafter.

Adrian simply snapped a casual salute at Ran as the Chief headed off before looking down at the money in his hand. "Well, that ended pretty well."

The medic shoved the cash in his pocket before exiting the building and looking for a cab.

"Sounds good. The name's Gyles." Gyles answered politely, before giving a slightly sarcastic grin. "The job's a great way to meet some swell chaps, when they aren't unconscious or in horrendous accidents, isn't it?" He joked, attempting to glaze over the wound on his ravaged arm with an off-color joke.

"I'm Lydia." The female medic smiled gently as she directed Gyles into one of the waiting ambulances. She motioned for him to take a seat on one of the padded side chairs. "Of course, it's the best way to get them out of their clothes, by the way, I think I'm going to have to cut your shirt off. I don't want to aggrievate the wound by having you move your arm around too much."

She gave the marine a small wink as she opened up one of the cabinets behind her and pulled out some gauze; scissors; an ice pack; styptic powder; and medical tape. "This'll only be a minor patch job to stop the bleeding. Oh, are you allergic to latex? I need to know what to get for ya."

On the other ambulance, Kinney confirmed that all three of the marines in his charge were from the NSS Nerkat; their names and ranks. Beyond that, he was not allowed to access any further information without an IPG authorization. He seemed satisfied that they were all supposed to be together despite the green haired girl's dislike for the Chief. The EMT blamed the dislike on the situation but didn't press them for more information. "Hey Chief, you hurt? What about you, Miss? Be sure to wrap that blanket around you and your friend there- she should be kept warm."

The ambulance had its siren turned on with the lights flashing as it hurried through the crowded Los Apagos streets towards the hospital.

At the scene, the police officers tried to get the attention of the remaining Nerkat marines straggling about for questioning.

One saw Adrian try to leave and called out to him. "Hey, Buddy, wait a tick! We want to ask you a few questions before you go then if you want, we'll get you a ride!"

Another officer pulled Fay to the side, "Hey can you tell me what happened here, or at least what you're involvement was? We want to make sure we can get all the information that we can so we can nail these guys' balls to the wall and get them locked up for a long time."

"Not unless something's changed in the past week. And go right ahead." Gyles answered Lydia, sitting down on the chair, and placing his injured arm for the medic to deal with without having to put herself into an awkward position.

Thank God I can't feel any of this shit.

"Sorry.." Rose mumbled at the medic, tucking the blanket around Kagura as neatly as she could, the momentum eased her mind. They weren't anywhere near that hell-hole anymore and why was she mad at Ran again? Maybe it would come back later.

"Shower.."

Fay had been waiting outside just in case anyone else had showed up... or to take care of anyone that tried to escape. Neither of these events occurred, so the medic felt a little useless. As the officer pulled him aside, he explained the situation from his viewpoint.

"I and a few fellow marines were looking for our friend, the victim, because we were worried about her. We found her datapad in a bar not too far from here, so we started to search for her when we discovered the streaming web video. Whatever these bastards get coming to them, they deserve much worse..."

He continued after a low sigh, "I was left outside as the rest entered to help our friend. I didn't see anything, but I heard shots, yelling, screaming, barking, and a variety of other minor sounds." He nodded, wishing that he had gone with the others in the ambulance.
