Supply Room

Being the last one off of the conveyor Misato had to move quickly, she signaled her unit to follow Helen's orders. she moved to a position that put her close enough to move in a take out her target. She just hoped this worked, that big NMX was creeping her out to no end.

Conveyer Belt - Supply Room

Mitsuko tensed up at the order, which seemed to be given so casually. Rip them apart? Their targets didn't look that different from most of them. The fact that there was one target for each member of their group drove the point home with even more force. Realizing her commander was paired off with the monster leading them made an even more unsettling comparison.

There was probably a better way of doing this, she thought. Maybe if they weren't in this deep, they'd have other options. She certainly didn't see any possible way to drag prisoners around, much less a way to ensure they were non-lethally subdued and unable to raise a warning. Mitsuko was supposed to follow orders and try not to screw anything up. This definitely wasn't the time to hesitate.

So, soon enough, she was slipping off the conveyer belt behind Akemi. She didn't respond, trying not to think too much about what she was doing. The mission had hardly even begun...there would certainly be more difficult things to do as they continued. Murakami stopped further away as Akemi continued towards the farthest target, ready to pounce on the NXM Neko she had wound up paired off with.

Mitsuko was just waiting for a signal to move the final few feet. With the Mindy's assistance, it would be like breaking a doll.

Team One

WIth a nod, Bors started readying the explosive as he walked over the elevator door. Stepping over the dead Rippers, Bors gingerly placed the explosive on the door so it would be in range of the Daisys when they self destructed.

Finishing up his assigned task, Bors went to go help Konoka move the wounded further down the tunnel.

Team 1

Hell had suddenly broken loose for the first time in Natsumi's very short life with the unwanted arrival of the Rippers. She and her escorts had been at the back of Team 1's progress, so as the firefight had begun she had been in a terrible position to assist. By the time she and her escorting infantry had been able to push forward enough the short and intense battle was over. Several friendlies wounded or dead and all of the few enemy that had shown up no more than a pile of crumpled corpses in the sludge.

"Let me help" Natsumi said, joining Konoka and Bors. She had missed out on shooting up bad guys, but at least could help with the wounded

Team 1

"Aye sir," came Takeyu's response as she lowered his weapon, but kept an eye on the remains of the Rippers, in case they had any tricks up their sleeves.

He walked into the tunnel and looked side to side. "Squad two, let's make sure that three times as many NMX die for every one of ours," he said authoritively before making a gesture with his hand to show where he wanted his squad while they moved out.

"Ready when you are Shosa," Takeyu said to Sune, though in the back of his mind, he was pondering where Klein-shosa was, her team never came to their assistance and that made him shake his head, but then - he already knew that would happen. Still though, the place was bringing back bad memories, memories he was quick to banish to the back of his mind in order to get the mission done.

Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Bors do his work. I'll have to keep an eye on him, to ensure he survives this mission.

Team 1

The Ripper carcasses continued to smolder in the smoky maintenance tunnel. The elevator hadn’t returned yet. Perhaps the Rippers that had come were a standby team and the real reaction force was still activating. Behind them, they heard the shuttles explode, creating suction in the maintenance tunnel as air was sucked into the sewage tank through the still-open hatch at the end of the maintenance tunnel. The moving air kept the smoke from going closer to the station core but also fueled the flaming Rippers, causing the flames to grow and catch fire to the explosive bag at the entrance to the elevator.

Team 2

The NMX Nekovalkyrja suddenly began to dart towards the exits as they were tipped off by something…possibly the brown footprints and vile stench coming from everyone but Helen. One of the nekos hit an alarm, sending this whole docking wing of the enemy starbase into lockdown. Sirens sounded and red lights flashed and thick blast shutters began to slowly lower at all the entrances to the room. The conveyors stopped as well. The Mishhuvurthyar overseer ducked out under a shutter headed towards his ship, and the abandoned Gartagen slaves looked around and began looting whatever supplies might help them escape.

Supply Room

With the enemy alerted to their presence, Akemi decided to ignore the escaping nekos and instead turned her attention to the overseer. She looked back to the supplies and ran to grab the largest and sturdiest looking container she could handle and hurried to slide it under the blast shutter it had just slipped beneath. She reasoned that the guards wouldn't be going anywhere of much significance to them given their low status so she chose to try to keep the exit the Mishhu used open. Assuming one was enough, she turned to the slaves and called out to them. "Over here!"

Supply Room

"This can't be f$^* happening!" Helen exclaimed, pissed off more than anything else, as she unleashed a slug from her railcannon, aimed right for the back of the fleeing Mishhu just as he passed the exit while the doors were still open. She scowled bitterly at that point, she knew things were going to get worse, and what made things even more complicated, were non-combatants in the area. "Akemi, if you want to be personally responsible for luggage, that is up to you, but we're here to finish a mission. If those two become a liability, they will be your responsibility." Helen spoke within the matter of a fraction of a second over the now-available communications systems.

Even while Helen scolded Akemi, she knew there was a job to do, there was also her job to do as a member of SAINT. "Reika, and my escort, on me! We're taking a minor detour! Everyone else, hold that exit or if the situation becomes unfavorable, move ahead and Reika and I will catch up, we'll be with you shortly if we can manage it!" With that, Helen, with Reika in tow, went about moving back up the conveyor, and to the adjacent room with the cloning facilities.

Once up the conveyor, Helen activated the aether projector on the forearm of her Kylie on a very short saber-setting, as she went about cutting through the transparent durandium wall, before barging her way into the cloning room, where she went about quickly looking for hostiles, as she held her aether gatling in one hand, and her projector-equipped arm up as well. She knew what she saw when they were passing through, and she had to secure one for the Empire, for the sake of knowing what was to come, and she was going to kill anything that got in the way of that. A manufacturing and distribution station? It was minor, compared to the manufacturing of a new infantry soldier to replace the incompetent masses of NMX which they had so easily dispatched over the last year of the war.

"Reika!" Helen called out, as she pointed in the direction of what she knew as a ST machine. "Get on that ST device, set it up for a copy procedure. Do whatever it takes to get the damned thing online!" With that, Helen moved to cover the other SAINT operative, as she expanded the area of her CFS, causing the air to ripple about her Kylie as she made sure to keep possible unseen foes at arms length.

Supply Room

"I only intended to point them to an exit they could all use since they weren't immediately escaping, but I'm fine with taking responsibility for them ma'am. I won't let doing so impair my ability to complete the mission," Akemi responded to Helen indifferently. Despite her tone, she was very disappointed that she had been scolded. She really wanted to further gain the Shosa's approval. Still facing the Gartagens, she moved away from the exit, deactivated her camouflage and spoke to them. "Take your time arming yourselves as best as you can. We will be leaving shortly."

Team 2 (Supply Room)

Akemi's quick thinking kept the blast shutter open and Helen's shots injured the Mishhuvurthyar, sending it crashing to the side of the passageway, losing blood. The Gartagens didn't understand Akemi until she added a "come here" hand gesture; then they went to see what they could do to help. Her translator told her they were talking about getting away from this place and was able to relay her instructions. The Gartagens quickly were locked and loaded.

Team 1
"Thank you," Konoka told Bors and Natsumi once all the wounded had been moved. "I think I can start treatment now!" She pulled out her PMS-1 and began injecting those who'd been dragged. She then got out some hemosynth and went to work.

Team Two

"Ma'am, looks like we have some unit attachments," came a comm to Helen from Ramiro as he eyed the Gartagens, attempting to see if he recognized any familiar faces from first contact. Although they all looked the same to him.

Turning his attention back to the room, he made a couple hand motions and his team was quickly in place, posting security. Once his team had the exits covered he knelt down in the center of the room and began surveying the situation, trying to come up with some ideas.

Supply Room

"Do you have any combat training or experience?" Akemi asked the Gartagens, noticing how swiftly they readied themselves. "My team and I will try to keep you safe, but first and foremost we must accomplish a mission." She motioned to the soldiers near her as she mentioned them. "What can you tell us about the layout of this shipyard?" While waiting for an answer she returned her gaze to the exit and saw that the overseer was still alive and informed Helen. "I know this may sound like a stupid question ma'am, but should we just kill it?"

Cloning Room

As Helen stood watch, waiting for Reika to bring the ST machine online, she received Akemi's message. "Mmm, kill it if it does not beg and squeal for its life." Helen replied through an encrypted communication, as she looked about at the various clone tanks, and their ready status. Blank slates... she just had to pick one out that was completely formed and ready.

Supply Room

The Mishhuvurthyar wasn't doing much of anything at the moment other than bleeding, but Akemi figured she'd give it a chance. Most might want to kill it immediately, but she saw things as strictly business. Maybe it could somehow be useful. "Hey, I know you're still alive, are you going to give us a reason not to kill you?" she asked it with a voice devoid of emotion after firing a shot right next to its head and adjusting her aim to get ready to finish the job.

What these survivors were clearly freshly captured. Still dawning battle worn armor, they all inspected their scavenged weapons. Their broken attitudes seemed to dissipate at the prospect of escape. Though the markings on their gear gave them away of being RRF from a single kith that had been captured, they quickly fell back into line.

Though a leader stepped forward and spoke in a gruff voice. With the translator of the Yamatians on the leader came forward. "Thank Shara for you Yamatians. We have been held for several decs...we have no clue what the situation is, but for now consider us at your disposal; we would love for nothing more then to kill every last squid."

Team 1

Bors gave a nod to Konoka as the blast from the elevator door went off, causing him to glance down towards the noise

"Well that should stop that route"

He said nonchilantly, before moving further down the tunnel toward what he suspceted was their target. As he passed his Nekos he made a motion for them to folow him, and continued down the hall way until he was next to Takeyu.

"So Shoi, when we get to this core thing, how are we supposed to overload it anyway?"

Team 2

Misato walked up to the Mishhuvurthyar, Shrugging, "i say we wast the basterd"thinking how close their kind was to killing her last time she had little smapathy for them.

Mitsuko didn't know how to react, as everything suddenly went pants. She didn't want to be the first one to make a move in this situation. She had new orders soon enough, thankfully. The others were doing a fine job of securing the area without her, and since she had been following Akemi's lead already, she wound up staring at the Gartagens as Akemi recruited them.

Not long after Akemi dropped out of camo, she did the same. When the other Neko moved to deal with the injured monster, she found herself put on the spot, out in the open with the Gartagens. Mitsuko wasn't sure what to do, pausing for a moment. Oh, right.

"...if you've been here for...some time, you must know something about the layout of this area. Anything would be helpful." She waited for the translations, ready to update her map. These updates would be temporary until she could confirm their validity, of course. "...um...you wouldn't happen to know of any fairly large ships close by that might be particularly easy to...liberate?"

She still wasn't quite sure where they were headed yet. Murakami had no idea where the officer and all those others had wandered off to, either. She had realized she was quite looking forward to the whole 'get a ship and leave' part of the plan, though.

Hopefully the Gartagens didn't mind the smell...

The leader tilted his head to the side at the young female. "Sai" He said through his helmet. "We are Gartagen Rapid Reaction Force, we break stuff. As far as the lay out of this facility, they kept us pretty localized when the realized we'd die if they removed our armor."

"But we will let you know if we recognize anything specific about this facility."
