"I'll work on those shutters ma'am," Akemi said. If there there were any consoles that appeared to be in working condition and unoccupied, she would switch over to one of them and search for a way to close the blast doors around the Rippers. She figured if she tried a different console she might get lucky and find it was the one specifically meant for the task.

Team 2

Now that the ship's systems seemed to be under their control, Mitsuko began carefully examining the various stations and control panels around the bridge. The others had already found the few that were obviously working, so it would take her a bit longer to find one that was of any use. If she had any success at all. Murakami was trying to follow Helen's orders and get the battlepods under control. By now, she was worried she was taking too long to get started, so she was willing to give almost anything that seemed functional a shot.

Takeyu nodded. "Bor's-Hei, get Konoka up here please. Since we are in the clear, for now," he searched the area, his SMG out and ready. "We can better address her wounds."

Team 1 - Waiting for the Bus

Sune pulled up the sensor data on Konoka via his link to the PMS-1. He condition was still serious, but the resilience of the Nekovalkyjra physiology was serving.

"Her condition is improving. But it would not hurt to give her another dose of Hemosynth." He said handing his medical kit to Takeyu.

"Okay folks, we have transport on the way. Check your armor, and make sure that your suit integrity is good. They are going to breach the hull, but we can not guarantee it will be a smooth breach." He looked at a maintenance hatch at the end of the gangway. "Signe, I want that hatch covered in case company comes knocking." he said.

Team 1

The water continued to flood the chamber, getting closer to the catwalk.

Outside the window, the team members looking could see fighters streaking by and flashes of exploding ships in the distance. A T7 shuttle pulled up outside and suddenly white aether blades came through the hull and air started hissing out. In a minute, the two circular holes became airlocks the the escape shuttle. A pair of nekos in shot-up DAISY armor emerged and waved at Team One. "All aboard!"

Team 2

Mitsuko couldn't find any way to control the battle pods but she did find a targeting system for the NMX ship's weapons.

Akemi was able to find a damage control station that had a panel that interfaced with the ship's damage control systems...including blast doors.

Mitsuko examined what she had found. Considering her luck so far on this trip, this discovery seemed about right. She sighed to herself before ensuring everything seemed to be in working order. At least, as far as she could tell.

Once she was confident of what she'd found, Murakami spoke up. "Um, Shosa...? I didn't find anything about battlepods, but this...well, it seems to allow access to the ship's weapons." She quickly glanced at the small group left on the bridge. "...who usually handles this on the Eucharis?" Mitsuko hadn't had a chance to go over the personnel on her new ship before this mission. She wasn't sure she'd even seen a responsibility like that listed. The Neko slumped a bit as she turned back to the console...she could see where this was going.

Team 2 - NMX Escort Ship Bridge

Akemi was delighted to see that she was proving to be pretty useful despite the fact that she was not working within her area of expertise. She quickly began to shut the blast doors closest to the Rippers and the ones nearest to those in case they managed to slip underneath the first set. "I've found a damage control station and am attempting to isolate the Rippers now ma'am," she announced to Helen. If the sensors she had previously activated revealed any other enemies she would try to contain them too. Deciding to make the most of what she found, Akemi conducted a review of the ship's systems to see if the remaining hostiles had done any other damage to the ship and sent the results to the SAINT operative.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

"It does not matter who handled the matter on the Eucharis." Helen replied to Mitsuko. "What matters is now. Right now, everyone is busy doing a job, and for now, you'll have to handle it. Most NMX systems are heavily automated like our own, so there should not be much trouble involved." Helen's thoughts moved swiftly for a moment, before she spoke again; "Mitsuko, I want you to focus on providing support to the other teams as they make their escape, take out any exterior weapons on the station which the sensors can spot, or any NMX craft that are looking in the direction of the shuttles, or, any of our ships that are in the area providing support to them..." Helen's attention then went to Akemi.

"Outstanding." Helen spoke, giving a nod to Akemi. "Now work with Reika, and close the blast doors to rooms where NMX personnel are located. It seems like we may be able to get proper control of the ship at this rate." she mused, as she waited for the ship to get moved to the proper range to make a proper break for it.

Team One

Bors waited until Sune was done treating Konoka before hoisting her up over his shoulders in a fireman's carry.

"This is a Bit backwards eh? the infantryman helping out the medic." He said jokingly. As he adjusted Konoka on his shoulders he over heard the neko ushering them to get onto the shuttle, "Looks like our rides here, try not to fall off, not as fast as i used to be..." Bors said and prepared to board the shuttle.

Natsumi followed everyone into the evac shuttle, waiting for Konoka to be helped into the small craft before she even thought of boarding the shuttle herself. She felt bad for what had happened to the Medic. it had been her recklessness that had caused Konoka to be injured and put the entire team, if not entire mission in jeopardy.

She settled into one of the shuttles jump seats, there were far fewer people evacuating from the station than had gone in with the assault at the start. It was no longer standing room only. She looked down at the ruined remains of her rifle, which she had smashed against the head of Ripper before retreating from the reactor chamber with everyone else. It was ruined but she had still brought it back anyways.

'At least we're still alive..some of us' she thought and glanced at Konoka.

"Is she going to be alright?" Natsumi asked

"Taking us up ma'am," Ramiro called out as he attempted to lift the ship off an pilot it out of the NMX Hub. As he did, he attempted to pull up IFF sensor data and reconfigure it to show Yamtaians as friendlies and NMX as hostiles. Also, he attempted to direct power to the communications systems to that Helen could have a more real-time uplink with the Eucharis.

"She'll be fine," remarked Takeyu as he injected Konoka with Hemosynth. "Just keep your eyes and ears on the walls and into the surrounding territory," as he said before looking at the new holes in the windows. "Ok, get her into the shuttle," he ordered and trained his weapon into the unknown.

Tomomi continued to make improvements on her ad hoc UI to ensure it is smooth for everyone. Hearing that Mitsuko was unable to find anything to control the battlepods, Tomomi shifted her focus to see if she could find something from the data streams she had access to.

Mitsuko nodded as Helen spoke, damaged helmet bobbing. "Yes ma'am. Understood." At least she had more specific orders now. She began trying to bring the weapons and targeting systems online. She wanted to make sure she would be aiming at the right targets. If Ramiro's attempts panned out, that would be a big help.

As they hopefully began leaving the shuttle bay, Murakami attempted to focus their weapons behind them. She kept an eye out for anything attempting to follow them. If they were able to exit safely, she planned to fire on the exit itself. Mitsuko thought it might be best to prevent any pursuit. "I'm going to try to...um...close the door behind us on our way out, Shosa."

Team 1
Thanks to Sune and Takeyu, Konoka's brain was mended enough to realize she could communicate a lot more coherently with telepathy.
So, telepathically, she told Sune, Takeyu, and Bors, Thank you for assistance. I'm sorry you sort of had to do my job for me this time.
Seeing Natsumi looking at her sadly, Konoka realized that the white haired neko probably felt respsonsible. Don't blame yourself, Konoka 'pathed Natsumi. This was the result of my foolishness, not yours.
Konoka sighed....I've been with the Eucharis longer than even Sune, she thought to herself a she continued to heal. I need to stop making such rookie mistakes in my quest to be helpful!
Even now, Konoka knew she still had a lot to learn. But then, so did everyone else...

Team 1

The interior of the T7 shuttle was a comforting sight with its teal-painted metallic walls covered in red cargo netting and various wiring and gear. Along the sides were rows of seats facing the center, and an open area between them that was filled with injured DAISY-clad Nekovalkyrja and bits of gear and Mishhuvurthyar computer parts, as well as couple of medical kit bags were laying opened here and there on the blood-coated rubber non-stick covered floor. There were only about a dozen members of Team 3 and 4 remaining. The cockpit door was open and through the forward window the occasional Star Army starfighter zooming by against the backdrop of space and flashes of light from energy weapons hitting the now-defenseless station. As one hit they could feel the station rumble. Once everyone was aboard, the shuttle’s rear door closed and there was and the shuttle could be felt jerkily moving under their feet as it zigzagged over towards the Eucharis, with fighter escorts clearing battle pods out of the way.

Team 2

Team 2’s prize ship was moving! The ship pulled away from the damaged station, moving past wreckage and destroyed NMX ships.

Tomomi found the NMX had taken control of the ship’s battlepods, which shot out the bay door and began firing on the ship’s engines as it fled the doomed station.

Mitsuko was having some trouble with the weapons systems, which were constantly trying to target Star Army ships. She could see the battle pods but the target system was avoiding them. There was a manual control for individual turrets, though…

Ramiro couldn’t set the IFF, but the Star Army ships weren’t firing on them so it seemed Hanako got the word out. A communications window opened to the Eucharis where Ramiro could see Blueberry’s face.

Tomomi was a bit worrisome that the NMX moved so quickly to gain access to the battlepods. Deciding that stating what she had found would be pointless, she decided she needed to find someway to jam the signal to the battlepods. Tomomi began looking to see if the ship even had any real ECM capabilities and how to access it.

Team 1

Sune looked at the remnants of his team. While it was true that the members of the Eucharis crew survived, but he found himself thinking about the Infantry members they lost. Was it worth it? Still do not know if we even achieved our goal of getting the reactor to overload. They are bombing the station, so I get the feeling that what we did was not enough. At least I ensured that none of the fallen would end up in a can. I need to review the logs from the various armors and see if there was anything we could have done to improve our success. Some how I do not think so.

He took a moment to pull up the roster of the Infantry members, and queued it to be transferred by Charisma to his ICP. He was going cross reference against their ST status and those who would not be restored, he would compose letters to their next of kin.

Team 2

"...oh dear..." Mitsuko was fretting again. Every time she tried to lock onto the battlepods harrying their new ship, the controls refused to comply, suggesting one of the many Yamatai ships in range instead. She chewed her lip before switching to the manual option. "It still sees the battlepods as friendlies...assuming direct control." She needed a test shot before she aimed for something as small as their current problem, though.

She tried her best to turn the ship's weapons on the exit they'd just used to flee the station. This was a much larger, non-moving target, so it would be a good test. Murakami attempted to fire at the shuttle bay, to halt any pursuit and test her control of their new ship's weaponry. If everything went well, she'd switch to carefully firing on the battlepods. Mitsuko was rather worried about hitting an ally by mistake...even a missed shot at the battlepods would likely hit something else.
