Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

Four seconds!

Ramiro didn't find anything related to the torpedo counting down behind him.

Team Two, NMX Escort Ship

"Will do!" Tomomi said, tapping into Reika's AIES. Tomomi quickly saw the binary code that flashed to Reika. Tomomi ran it thru the AIES network to get a translation. Considering the basic computer language, the translation was instantaneous.

Code:
Wif dbqdfoobwjrq dref jv DYOO

Tomomi then ran the translation thru the cipher decryption program hoping the NMX had used the same technique as before. To her surprise they did do just that.

Code:
The cancellation code is CULL

"Got it!!" Tomomi said as she rushed over towards the password prompt. She shoved Reika out of the way if need be, there was little time for politeness. If she was wrong they would be dead anyways and if she is right she can apologize later.

"The code is cull" She said as typed it in and hit the cancel button. She squeezed her butt as if that was going to save her.

NMX Bridge

Ramiro continued to follow orders, searching for force field controls. If he found some, he would attempt to isolate a force field around the torpedo. If he was unable to do that, then he would isolate a force field around the bridge and sprint out of the bridge, closing the blast doors behind him. It was too bad that he wasn't in his armor anymore, or he would have gladly grabbed onto to torpedo and teleported the both of them away.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Outside of Bridge

While Ramiro, Tomomi, and Reika worked with those remaining four seconds, Helen dragged the remaining personnel off the bridge and past the blast door as she set a timer on the power armors she placed adjacent to the torpedo to teleport the aether tapping systems of the warhead away at a tenth of a second prior to the detonation, though, she was also ready to halt the teleport if the disarming procedure was a success.

Mitsuko altered any suits that wound up in her care to match Helen's. She averted her gaze from the stripped Ramiro, blushing under her helmet. Soon she was evacuating the bridge as ordered, along with the others not involved in disarming the explosive.

Team 2 main bridge, Torp

Misato quickly took off her gloves and when over to the torpedo, this was something she new, explosives, she wasn't much for the computer side of the system. So she started to remove an expectation plate near the head of the torp and started to work the hardware to find a way to disarm war head. She relied on her explosives training and the suits AI for some help on the new system, she quickly started to disconnect the warhead from the arming system, then she moved to work on removing the detonator from the main charge.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

After being shoved aside by Tonomi and with Misato already making the attempt to manually disarm the explosive, Reika had little choice but to await the outcome of their combined efforts from the sidelines.

The neko watched mutely as the others desperately worked whilst the timer ticked towards zero once again.

Team 2 - NMX Escort Bridge

"Sequence canceled," flashed the torpedo's volumetric display before it disappeared, leaving the shot-up bridge rather quiet and still for a moment. Then the ship's cracked, bullethole-filled main viewscreen flickered to life, showing the battle that was going on outside. The Star Army fleets were trying to put down the surprised NMX fleet. Meanwhile, The Nest was blowing up the Yamataian craft with disturbing ease using superheavy aether weapons powered by the core Team 1 was attacking.

Team 1

As the charges detonated, the coolant pipes were ruined and their contents surged into the core maintenance level. Inside the cramped pipe, the water flooded to fill the pipe and the members of Team 1 began to be pushed through the pipe with increasing speed, bumping into each other and the sides as they shot through the station towards some unknown point.

Team 1 - Water Slide

Sune quickly found that it was easiest to let the water do the work, and used small shifts of his weight and body to keep himself from being too badly injured. He had never been to a water park, but had heard others describe them. If not for the precarious nature of their situation. He figured it was rather similar.

"Not sure where we are going... but you have to admit we are making good time... and no one is shooting at us.

Most likely this pipe is going to dump into a large chamber. Once we get there we can cut our way out and make our way to some point where we can either exit or commandeer a craft." he sent to the team.

Team 2 NMX Escort Ship

Tomomi resisted the urge the let out a sigh, but she did release the muscles that held her butt tight. She looked over towards Reika and extended her right hand out. "Sorry about that." She said to Reika. Tomomi looked for a console to access the ship's computer system while she waited on Reika to respond.

"Remind me to put you people up for medals." Helen spoke to everyone as she stepped onto the intact bridge, deactivating the count-down for the power armor teleporters as she strode to the middle of the bridge and crossed her arms as she looked upon the viewscreen. "Mmm... what a mess out there, I think we should do something about it." Helen mused, as she looked to her team.

"Alright Team, this is what we're going to do. Tomomi, I want you to work with Ramiro to program a substitute user interface for these damaged panels, I want this ship to respond to us when we need it. Akemi, get on that with them, and determine the overall status of this ship... and shut off those goddamn Rippers or redefine their IFF parameters. Reika, I want you to sweep the ship for personnel and isolate non-essential personnel into the bunk rooms. We need them for intel. Inform essential personnel that they will be treated according to standard SAoY policy regarding POWs, and that if they cooperate we will ensure their safety. Misato, I want you to rig this torpedo to have a new triggering protocol, I want it to be able to be remotely detonated and I want that warhead assembly separated from anything non-essential to the weapon being able to be detonated. Mitsuko, I want you to assume remote control of the battlepods for this vessel, we need a competent pilot to command them. With that, Helen had directed her team, as she opened a communication line to Team One.

Code:
Team One, this is Team Two, we have secured an NMX Escort, we are assuming full control over the ship at this time. Report status, do you require support?

Team 2
NMX Escort - Bridge

Mitsuko couldn't get far before the countdown ended. After a few seconds in the hallway outside the bridge, she was confident there hadn't been any sort of explosion. Soon enough she poked her head back into the bridge, joining the others inside as Helen began issuing orders. A few moments after hearing Reika's task laid out she sent the other Neko some information. Murakami had refined the rough map of their new ship while travelling through it to reach the bridge. She made sure to mark the crew quarters she had passed. She also noted that, although she'd asked the NMX Neko she ran into to stay in their quarters, they were most likely the ones that assisted the Rippers earlier.

She finished passing this along just in time to hear her name. Murakami stood up straight as she was addressed, nodding...her confused expression hidden by her damaged helmet. Pilot? Her? She was competent enough with the Yamatai vehicles she'd been trained on, but she was surprised to be picked out of all the others for this job. The others did have more important assignments, she reasoned.

Mitsuko moved toward Akemi and Tomomi, still trying to avoid looking at Ramiro. She glanced between the two and Helen, instead. "...do you, um...do you think I can do that from here? Or...should I check for...some sort of interface in the ship's vehicle bay? Once the way is...um...safe..." She turned her helmet toward Akemi after that last remark.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

"Mitsuko, I'd recommend speaking to Tomomi, Ramiro, or Akemi about that matter, see if an interface is available here, or if you'd have to go elsewhere." Helen spoke, as she strode along the bridge, eying the various displays. "That, or see if a secure link can be established via SPINE."

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

Akemi swiftly hovered into the bridge and over to one of the still usable control panels. "I think so," she said to Murakami without looking at her. Before beginning to access it she checked to see if there was a seat with a SPINE interface. If so, she would remove her armor and plug herself in to speed up her work. The first thing she tried to find out was what living enemy inhabitants were left on the ship and where they were located. After that she would search for the Ripper control system and shut them down if possible. Simply searching for preexisting controls was easier than creating new ones. She knew Tomomi and Ramiro were much more suited to their specific task so she decided she would help them with that last.

NMX Escort

Now that Ramiro finally had a moment to breath, he looked down, remembering that he hadn't been wearing anything underneath his armor.

"I was hoping I wasn't going to have to take that armor off," he said bluntly. He shivered a bit as he acknowledged how cold it was without the armor on, while is body did the usual when it gets cold. Shaking his arms a bit to try and get the blood flowing and the heat pumping, he stood and proceeded into the bridge. Once he was there he returned to the station that he had been working at and attempted to repair any damage that he could. His first plan was to check for operating volumetric panels. If those weren't operation he would attempt to figure out if he would be able to transfer a station's interface to a power armor, that way somebody would be able to use their Mindy as if it were the computer station.

"Tomomi, it depends on how much we can get operational up here. Although, chances are good that you won't need to go anywhere."

Team 1

Natsumi had made it into the pipes with the rest of the team just in time before the charges went off. Now she was bejng swept down into the black depths along with them.

"Ooh this is way more fun than getting shot at!" She yelped, restraining herself from vometing in her helmet as she tumbled along the pitch black pipes. "And bonus, our suits will be all clean when we get out" she added, pleased that she wasnt going to have to deal with the sludge they had all been bathed in earlier afterall.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

"Yes, ma'am." Reika responded succinctly to Helen's instructions. To Ramiro, Tomomi and Akemi she added, "When or If you ever manage to gain control of the ship systems, It would help if you transmit the ships crew manifest and a copy of the internal layout to my Daisy so that I can find my way around and properly identify important enemy personnel... data on the enemies numbers and positions aboard ship would also help if you can get ahold of it."

In pursuit of the completion of her new orders Reika stepped outside the bridge and released her armors drones down the corridor ahead of her so that they might forewarn her of enemy movement. The operative also activated her armors stealth function so that she might move throughout the ship without much fear of being forced into combat with any errant Rippers still roaming the vessel.

Utilizing the visual information provided by her drones, Reika sought out signs of the ships crew quarters as she made her way further into the bowels of the ship.

Team 1 - Water Slide

Sune continued to do his best to keep track of everyone in his team. The good thing was the pipe system did not branch. He had not expected it to. He only hoped that where they ended was somewhere close to the exterior.

He was surprised to hear from Team two.
Team One to Team Two.
Reactor has been sabotaged. Overload should be in process.
Left the core via unorthodox method which is getting us past heavies in that area. Uncertain where our exit point will be. Proceed with your mission.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

"Once we get access, I want a schematic of that station retrieved from the ship's computer and sent to Team One." Helen ordered, as she thought on the best course of action for the moment, until everyone had their work done. "Do we have sensors online? I would like an estimate on time until overload for the core, and I want to get our target data together." she spoke, before she stepped in the direction of the exit of the bridge; "I need to go get something I left out of the firefight... I'll be back, keep an active link." Helen spoke, as she pulled her NSP from her battered Kylie before she disappeared from sight using her projection abilities. Once she was off the bridge, Helen made her way to where she left the new type of NMX body she collected from the station, she intended to take it to the bridge to keep an eye on it.

Team Two - NMX Escort - Bridge

"I'm trying to obtain that information right now ma'am," Akemi responded to Reika. "I'll send it to you as soon as I have it." As she worked she ordered the Gartagens to stay put in the bridge room.
