"You are with me now," Hanako told him, tossing him the Atromos Particle Beam Rifle with Dresde Under-Slung Grenade Launcher that she had been carrying. "We need to get the contents of this cart back to my starship. It is many decks below. I have another soldier in the barracks finding us backpacks to help carry everything. We may have to go back down a ventilation shaft."

Takeru was frozen for a second, before checking on the usefulness of the rifle and smiling. "A vent shaft might not work," he told her and glanced at the elevator. "Yes ma'am, um.. If I may, I can check on the elevator's systems - see if anyone's rerouted it to any particular deck or if they've left a nasty surprise," he offered.

Looking for what seemed to be an eternity, Mikael finally found a bunch of pillow cases just shoved into a corner. To much of a hurry to see if they were even clean, he scooped up nine of them before placing them in a space in the Autocannon.

Satisfied that her got what was needed, he sprinted back to the elevator. When he arrived near the elevator...he begun to slow down to a walk and noticed the new individual with her.

"I have the pillow cases as requested. Didn't.....did not see any real backpacks along the way." Mikael said removing the pillow cases. He looked over to the person and raised his eyebrow. "I didn't know you were growing a cult ma'am. Who's the newbie?"

"His name is Nayacesen Takeyu and he is either trained in ordance disposal or he's somewhat foolish," Hanako answered, gesturing with her hand for Takeyu to hold in position rather than go into the booby-trapped elevator. "I disabled the elevator remotely," the Taisa said, pointing a finger at the side of her head. "We can go to the level below and jump down the elevator shaft, each carrying a teleporter unit in a pillowcase. Here, put them in the cases now. Use two pillowcases, on inside the other, so they are extra strong."

With that, Hanako took two pillowcases put one into the other, then gently slid one of the three units into it.

Takeru mentally winced at the 'foolish' remark and made a mental note to be a bit more careful in the future. Shouldering the Atromos Particle Beam Rifle, he took two pillows and put one into the other before lifting his head up and looking down the hall. He then turned his attention back to one of the transporters and carefully slid it into the pillow case.

Mikael just kind of smirked when Hanako gestured at Takeyu. He moved the autocannon out of he way so he could better take the three pillow cases and slid the remaining teleporter unit into it. "No point in taking chances with my luck....." he said under his breath.

Mikael looked at Takeyu and extended his hand to him "Mikael Harris, at your service. I charge by the ammo charge expended."

Hanako led the way back to access panel they'd found earlier and into the frigid ventilation shaft below, where cold air was still rushing from above. "Just one deck this time," Hanako shouted over the roar of wind and fans.

Takeyu half smiled at Mikeals comment. "Nice to meet you, I'll make sure not to use to much," he said and shook his hand firmly before following Hanako.

"Just one deck this time," Hanako shouted over the roar of wind and fans.

As he listened and looked down the shaft he nodded to himself. "Feel's like my old mining days.." he muttered as he checked the transporter unit and made certain it was secure. He then turned his head back the way they had come, keeping his eyes peeled for anything hostile.

Elysians scrambled about the port sides as ships were launched; either to intercept the incoming Mishhuvurthyar fleet, or evacuating civilians and others. Nika gave the port officials the 'list of personals' the ship would be ‘evacuating’, who had not arrived with their ‘escorts’. With the confusion going about, giving them abit of the truth would not compromise the mission much as the possibility that this space station might not survive the attack.

Tapping into the station’s network became a breeze now as several blasts onto the station by the enemy fleet causing some of the security system to be knocked out, enabling the neko to access to the command center. From the transmissions between the station and the defense fleet, the battle wasn’t going so well.

“All Teams. The Elysian are being pushed back badly. From the looks of it, we have about at least an hour or so before the Mishhuvurthyars break through…”

It was then several panic transmissions from within the station caused Nika’s eyes to widen,

“Mishhuvurthyar infiltrators have been spotted within the station, all Teams, be on alert!”

Takeyu listened as his ear peice chimed with the station warning. His eye's widened slightly as he listened before he looked down the shaft and then at Hanako. "Ma'am? Orders?" he asked her calmly, and then glanced over his shoulder in the direction they had come.

Mikael shivered as he came near the shaft they used eariler. He checked both the teleporter unit and his "borrowed" main weapon. "No need to be outgunned when all hell breaks loose." he thought to himself. He looked to Hanako and Takeru when he heard the latest warning.

"If the Mishhu are coming aboard," Hanako shouted, "then that means they are not blowing up the station. The Elysians probably will, though. The NMX are probably boarding in order to prevent that."

The air shaft was a really horrible place to talk in. Irritated, she went down to the level below and waited for the others to follow before opening the panel that led into the corridor.

Takeyu nodded and followed Hanako, then stopped on the floor she was on. He unholstered his sidearm and waited for her next move.

After taking a peek down the corridor, Hanako emerged from the access panel and effortlessly, silently glided down the hallway where she unlocked and opened remotely. She waited inside the elevator shaft for the others, very aware that there was an explosive trap in the elevator car above her head.

Takeyu positioned himself sideways, so that he could more easily respond to a threat. With ease of movement he floated down the shaft and toward Hanako, keeping one eye on her and another eye out for trouble. When he got to her he stopped carefully and turned back toward the way they had come. So far, so good... he thought calmly but didn't say a word.

Waiting for the other two to descend to the lower level, Mikael looked around for places to hold himself up before he made the attempt to follow them. After a very slow descent down the shaft, he emerged from the shaft behind the two, taking up a position opposite of Takeru.

"Mikael," Hanako said, "Let me hold your bag while Takeru holds on to you. Since you cannot fly, he will have to carry you down the elevator shaft. We should get moving before the way is blocked by blast shutters or enemy forces."

Takeyu nodded his head. He quickly checked his package and weapons, making sure all were ok. Turning his attention to the shaft, he saw several power cables running up and down, though they were on the opposite side of them - he could see at least two nearby.

It's possible that there is no power running through them, with the station being under attack and such and possible damage in various areas, but I don't want to take a chance. With me carrying someone, my maneuverability will be limited, he thought.

Hanako leaned forward until she was upside down and zoomed down the elevator shaft, her figure alternating between shadow and glowing red as she passed each floor's emergency light. It was certainly faster than the ladder. In a moment, she was waiting for the others down on the Eucharis' level.

Takeyu watched Hanako before looking at Mikeal. "Hold on tight," he told him before stepping off and down the shaft. As the passed the floors heading down, his eyes were drawn to a sudden discharge off to his left.

A blue flash appeared along one of the power cables, electricity jumped from the cable to the other cable near it and casted an eerie blue glow in that area of the shaft. He kept one eye on it and the other on his flight path, but let out a mental sigh of relief when the charge dissipated into the cable.

When he got to the bottom he quickly double checked his package and then gave a nod of his head toward Hanako.
