Kumiko nodded, and turned around, rapping her NSP on the wall. "Everyone, listen up. We're going to head out now. I need all of you to follow me. Don't worry, we'll be with you the whole way. Now, if you would?" She turned, and walked into the hallway, heading back to Ramiro's position. Once she got there, she rested her free hand on his shoulder. "Ramiro-san? We're ready to go, as soon as everyone is here. Where's the cart you mentioned to Jalen-Heisho? He wants me to take a look at it."

When Ramiro felt a hand on his shoulder, he panicked and jumped forward, spinning around mid-air and landing on the ground with his gun pointed outward. When he saw it was just Kumiko he sighed, placing his hand on his chest and panting. "Please don't do that again, you scared the crap out of me." He took a couple of deep breaths before pointing over to one end of the corridor, "The cart is down there."

Kumiko giggled slightly. "Sorry about that. Can you watch these guys for me? I'll go check it out." She smiled at him, and trotted down the corridor, before kneeling next to the cart, checking it for any signs of bombs or wiretaps.

Ramiro nodded to Kumiko before raising his weapon once again. He huddled the small group into a corner where he could easily keep an eye on them and then stood in front of them. His eyes flicked back and forth down the hall looking for the slightest hint of trouble.

As the designers left with the others, Sune switched his science scanner to the configuration for detecting lifeforms.

As he started moving down the corridor the scanner showed a group of people heading in his direction at a quick pace. Looking around he needed a way to slow the approaching personnel down. He spotted a panel similar to the one that had been damaged back at the elevator station. He activated the control to close the emergency bulkhead. In an attempt to slow down them being able to open the bulkhead, he shot the panel with his NSP several times. When the panel appeared sufficiently fried he jogged down to were his team was gathered.

"Endoh-Hei, do you think you can get that cart operational? We have company coming, I have taken steps to impede them. But one way or another we need to get underway."

Kumiko made a few quick changes, then replaced a panel, and stood back up as the cart started up. "Ah... yes, sir. I think I've hot wired it successfully, now we just need to find a way back. Preferably one that isn't as prone to being intercepted as our last path." She dusted her hands off, and shrugged, taking her NSP out again, and checking it to make sure the safety was off, and that it was set to stun.

Ramiro quick looked around before turning to the designers. "Okay, you guys, load up into the cart, quickly!" He paused to make sure that they made it to the cart before jogging over himself. He sat in the back of it, facing backwards, so that way you would have an easy shot if anyone decided to jump them from behind. "All ready here."

The communicator chirped as the response came back from Junko's query to her tap into the station systems network. She blinked rapidly, clearing the haze of anarchy around her for a moment to review the data. “Jalen-Heisho, I have the requested route information. I'm pushing it to your communicator.” Slipping the device back into a pocket, she glanced briefly at the huddled Elysians and her teammates as she double checked the setting on her NSP. She had already made sure the weapon was on stun at least four times before, but the hectic pace of combat had left her doubting herself, feeling as if someone else had been steering her through the mission thus far. Just the adrenaline, she remarked inwardly. Just a little farther and we're done.

The designers did not have to be told twice to board the cart. In less than a minute they were seated and waiting for their rescuers to move on.

"Endoh-Hei you drive the cart. Takeda-Heisho take a seat next to her and provide her with directions. I will join Valencia-Heisho on the rear of the cart to provide cover fire." Sune took a seat next to Ramiro, With his NSP drawn, "Are we having fun yet?" he said with a wry smile.

Ramiro properly positioned himself before slinging the SMG behind his back. He drew his NSP and double-checked that it was still on stun. He held it out of in front of him and looked down the barrel. Deciding that everything was satisfactory, he turned to Sune and said with a grin, "Of course, what's not to like about shoot crooked Elysians as a fleet of NMX speed towards you."

Adjusting the SMG he had on a sling to where he could grab it if needed, Sune replied, "Yes, just another typical day in the Star Army of Yamatai in harms way to protect the Empire."

Inward Sune's mind ran through the myriad of possible problems they could still encounter. And there was the nagging lack of communications from the other teams. Just need to focus on getting the mission completed. If the others needed assistance they would have signaled. I will certainly feel better once we get these civilians aboard the Eucharis. he thought.

"Yes, sir." Kumiko got up into the driver's seat, and rested her NSP on her lap, in a position to grab it quickly if needed. Adjusting her seat, she settled in. "Where to, Takeda-Heisho?"

“Oh… Just a moment.” Junko shifted her position to retrieve her communicator again. Copying the inputs she had made moments earlier, she nodded as the device confirmed pushing the data to Endoh’s unit. With a few more keystrokes and the attachment of a data cable, she passed her own communicator to her comrade. “The information has been updated to your device and you can simply attach mine to the cart’s interface. It ought to project our route in real-time. We’ll need to be careful, though, in case reality deviates from the plans.” The problem was fairly ubiquitous with construction efforts; the more phases of designing and planning, the more likely that crews working from different copies would create slightly different products. With a construct the size of the space station, it was a near certainty that such discrepancies existed, and Junko had no interest in discovering such a mistake by driving the cart at high speed into a supposedly non-existent bulkhead.

Kumiko nodded, and connected the communicator to the cart. "Thanks. Can you watch for any possible threats? I want to keep my attention on driving, since it's not the foremost of my talents." With that, she started the cart up, moving it around on the heading that the communicator's data indicated before starting out.

As if to punctuate the need for speed, an explosion somewhere in the station made the floor rattle for a second. The lights flickered for a moment, too.

The station must have been hit by Mishhu, how long until they start boarding. Best keep an eye out for any damage control stations as we pass. If the station takes a bad enough hit we could have to deal with decompression, he thought.

"Endoh-Hei, Step on it. Time is running out. The rest of you stay sharp." He called out.

Kumiko simply nodded, and accelerated slightly, still staying as much under control as she could. AS she went, she kept an eye out for any possible breaches in the station, and paid close attention to any upcoming corners in case something was waiting for them. "Sir, I can't go too much faster, or there's a chance I could miss a turn, or worse, wreck us. I'm going about as fast as I can."

After the cart descended a level and started moving across the level to the next down ramp, a group of armed personnel was running towards the group. There was an intersection ahead of them, the cart would get them to the intersection before the gunmen, giving Endoh the opportunity to turn left or right. Of course that did not mean the gunmen could not open fire on them.

Ramiro eyes kept scanning their surroundings. When he saw the gunmen approaching he double-checked that his NSP was on stun. "Sir, gunmen!" He then took aim at one of gunmen and waited for either the order to fire at will or for one of the gunmen to start shooting at them.

As the gunmen got closer it became apparent that they were in fact Elysian security personnel. They took up a position and the leader stated "Get to your emergency station as quickly as possible. We will be starting the evacuating of all personnel shortly." He then looked at Charlie team. "You there, where are you heading."

Kumiko swung the steering, pulling off a rather impressive stop before she hit them going much faster than they could survive. As they came to a stop, she glanced back at Sune to see if he wanted to respond, or if she should go ahead and give them the response that she had.
