An exploration vessel, the NSS Inquiry, is setting out from Gold Coast to the West of the starmap after some signals were picked up by a listening post set hundred of light years from Nepleslia.
The NSS Inquiry is going forth to tackle the lack of intelligence on the signals picked up. Unfamiliar terrain will be overtaken and laid open for examination by the Nespleslian Star Navy, no doubt. What is in store for the Marines aboard the ship is stuff of dreams and nightmares, alike. Lust for battle will be satiated and fears will be exterminated. Enemies and foes from the depths of the universe will be put to rest or will overtake the NSS Inquiry, all depending how the players take care to protect themselves and the Democratic Imperium of Nepleslia.
The premise is based around a squad of marines with a position available for a scientist/ doctors.
The plot page is, at present moment, a reiteration of the above information, just with linkage and my NPC's.
If there were a branch to have one, they would exist within the Central Corps. They've not been tapped into much (I've been planning to change that), but it does fit the definition of a Nepleslian military scientist/researcher.

The reason for this is probably due to the fact that most scientists would simply work for NAM, rather than work as a soldier primarily. However, with the vibe and intents for some future plots, there can be an expansion on the Central Corps for some sort of Expeditionary/Investigative collection. For now, it's p good to just assume that they'd either be non-mil or employed within Central.
Tobias (@Alex Hart ) got dropped off from an escape pod and was left for dead. He was picked up and heavily interrogated and now the Master Sergeant (@Gunhand4171 ), Second Lietenant (my NPC), and Sergeant ( @Syaoran ) are fully aware he is ex-IPG that left his ship of traitors under mysterious circumstances and are all on high alert for any funny business. The rear admiral (my NPC) is also aware of Cheza Evans' (Sergeant known as Linda Nelson) background and undercover alias but it has not yet been shared with my NPC or Gunhand's character.
