Ship Discription of the NSS Kestrel

Ship Type:
Production Model NAM-S1-01a. Produced at the NAM Orbital Shipyards. Comissioned on YE-29.

Modifications:
None.

Current Assignment

Active Orders 01:
The NSS Kestrel is to return to the NAM Orbital Shipyards from its test flight to be handed over to the representatives of the Star Army of Nepleslia to be offcially inspected and launched. The ship is to be crewed, garrisoned and stocked with Torpedoes and Power Armors.


Current Condition

Ship Status:
The NSS Kestrel currently has a crew of one. The ship has been test flown and given a clean bill of health. Its stock of Torpedoes and Power Armors will only be loaded when the Star Army of Nepleslia comfirms the intergration of the Kestrel into its standing army. The safety seals and switches on its other fixed weaponry has not been removed or touched.

Ship Location:
The NSS Kestrel is docking at the NAM Orbital Shipyards in high Nepleslian orbit.

I am afraid I have not had time to get through all of the Alliance threads (or even a fraction of them for that matter). What exactly do officers do in that ship (and I presume this one as well, since it looks like many of the same people are coming to it)? Do they pretty much just provide logistical support with all of the actual events happening with the Marines?
 
That, and ship to ship battles. We cant have the marines take all the fun, cant we?
 
It's a safe bet that marines will probably see more action than ship crew.

However, I'm certain they will be able to have their fair share of drama and conflicts as well.
