hmmmm.... Votes Benji for said piloting

"Big boys, big toys" - My uncle (who's the wierdest guy ever btw)

Oh, come on, it's not so farfetched. In fact, there should be more gay/bi neps. (Stalwart is bi, for one.) Since so many Yamataians and Nekos are bi or lesbian, it only makes sense.

It's not so much farfetched as it is unexpected. I read his bio, didn't catch it. Actually, I'm not even sure if homosexuality is taboo on Nepleslia or not...not really something we've added to the wiki, at least.

...shoot, Rico better watch himself.

Hmmm...VR...that means Computer Specialist Matt could help Ally out with the simulation.

Matt: *laughs maniacally*

Why do I get the feeling it's going to be Pheonix Arms-type ground power armors blasting apart KFY-type ground power armors? >_>;

KFY armors will vape you before you even seen them!

Shhoooooommm...BAM!

*Mindy performs a high-speed airstrike*

Ah, and I thought all KFY armors were FTL capable. It seems like the ground power armors don't get much use anymore but I still think it would be intersting to see the KFY ground armors go up against their NDI counterparts. As far as I know that hasn't happened ever.

I also would bet good money the Golem II would beat out the Harpy and Daisy. The Golem V packless Sylph would be more of a fair fight. I would expect the layer of yarvex would change the nature of the fight entirely.

The Daisy is newer and better than the Golem. It's a beast.

The Golem II would be able to engage the Daisy more accurately and from a longer range because of its non-LOS attack capabilities and better sensors. The Daisy may be newer but I doubt it could take on a Golem II in a fight.

Actually, there was a battle between two Golem IIs and a Daisy, all piloted by trainee pilots. The Daisy pilot pulled through, managing to defeat both opposing armors.

I'll quote a condensed part of the battle if you can't bother yourself with peering over 'Prologue Day 2' in the Miharu plotship.

The Golem II is powerful, yes, and even scores slightly higher that the Daisy in Doshii Jun's power armor rating evaluations... but that doesn't mean the Daisy stands no chance of winning against it.

I disagree with that assesment. In this situations the golems should be aquiring the daisy with its hyperwave sensor and then attacking it using its non-los weapons or simply blasting directly through the cover to take out the Daisy. The Daisy has no ECM so targeting it should be a peice of cake. The Daisy on the other hand has to shoot through the Golem's combined ECM which will throw its aim off. It also has weaker armor than the Golem so in the event up a straight up shootout the golem should be able to handle the Daisy.

There also seems to be the problem with the golem's plasma weapon not being able to penitrate the Daisy's weaker shield but the Daisy's weapon being able to not only penitrate the Golem's more powerful shield but all of its armor as well.
