<center>-= ALBINI ORBITAL FACILITY 'PISCES STATION' =-
"SERENITY IN CHAOS"</center>

<center>OVERVIEW</center>

Pisces Station is a Scorpio-class Star Fortress orbiting the aquatic world of Albini, currently in the process of construction. It is in a very busy sector of space and is expected to be frequented by civilians often; this demands that the crew be well-trained in order to properly administrate the station. Despite the fact that working on a space station is not usually demanding, security must be top notch, and so must engineering...the officer ranks double as public relations and make sure that the station is always running the way it should.

Pisces Station's facilites are top of the line - not only is it part of the Star Army's new series of advanced Scorpio space stations, its civilian sections have outlets from most major manufacturers, and its amenities are the finest anywhere this side of the Kikyo system.

A wise old captain called Tiberius once said that space stations are where obsolete soldiers go to die. With the recent orders by Taisho Yui regarding the presence of Geshrin, Nepleslian, and other species within the Nekovalkyrja-dominated ranks, those few who have not left the Star Army or upgraded to the NH-22 model are placed in non-combat positions. This is one such position. In addition, with recent shifts in the structure of the 5th Expeditionary Fleet, many officers are being transferred all over the place, and some may land here...

Despite being in the heart of the empire, Pisces is not immune to attack. The Scorpio-class stations are assigned permanent defense fleets for this purpose, and it may see battle one day...with Elysia nearby and Nepleslia not far either, should they decide (foolishly) to attack the Empire, Pisces is the first line of defense.

Below the skies in which the station lies, is the aquatic world of Albini. Ravaged by the Misshu in YE 28, the planet has since recovered, and many wish to plunder its depths - and search for survivors of the plague. If such a search is executed, the Pisces administration will be among the first to scour the surface.

<center>OOC - PLOT INFORMATION</center>

Call me FM. I'll be your Game Master for this experience, and I promise a treat. This plot is still very much under construction, but please contact me if you are interested in a spot.

I should point out right now that I demand performance from my players, just as I demand it from myself. If I don't get it, you aren't staying in my plot. Period. Prove yourself, however, and you will find that the experience will be rewarding.

I'm also adopting Fred/Kotori's rule on character death. If you're smart, it should never come up. If not, well:

Kotori said:
In the basic rules of the StarArmy site, there in one regarding roleplaying on this forum that one party may not deal lasting or permanent damage on another's intellectual property (your player character) without prior consent being given.

Within my operation as Game Master of the YSS Miharu, I amend the above rule with the following: I may inflict lasting harm up to character death with no advance warning and probably relentlessly if the situation warrants it (for example, if your character is caught up in a section of the Miharu shattered apart by a Aether Shock Cannon, you will most likely be dead instantly). I will do so freely as long as one condition is maintained: the character has a reasonably accessible Soul Transfer Backup of himself done at the time.

Also, when it is appropriate, I will suggest songs to listen to during certain scenes, or theme songs for certain characters/plots/other various things. I very much suggest you follow them, no matter how strange they may sound.

<center>OOC - ROLEPLAY AND SCHEDULE INFORMATION</center>

My schedule is as it always has been - I'm on, except when I'm not. Thus, the schedule for RP will be similarly erratic - but I will schedule the occassional JP, and I expect players to post regularly.

As there will be a great deal of downtime upon the station, social interaction is a must. Internal drama must be kept at a high level in order for the plot to work, and anyone who doesn't generally interact with the other players won't be around long.

As a plus, however, anyone who wishes to be part of the plot, but lacks a character to do so, can simply use one of their old characters, or perhaps an NPC, to interact with the plotship's principals!

What I really want to see are mini-JPs between our characters. When a full JP is not in the works, I expect players to interact in JPs among themselves. It's less sterile than SPs, but also eliminates timing problems.

A note on posting rules: I reserve the right to edit posts to format them, or add things that may enhance the post's impact. However, in no way will I alter the dialogue - it's up to the players to make any corrections that need to be done.

Another note: Mature posts are allowed, so long as they are clearly marked! However, don't mistake this for the Sakura. Relationships will form among the crew, but don't expect it to be a sex-fest. Also, remember that implying that something happened can be just as powerful, if not more, than explicitly saying what happened.

<center>PRESENTATION OF EVENTS</center>
I'm stealing Doshii's idea, and taking it somewhat further - the plots of the station will be known as 'Episodes', referring to episodes of a non-existant television series called 'Star Fortress Pisces' (SFP for short), in the tradition of naming things after its title mecha or ship (Mobile Suit Gundam, Space Battleship Yamato, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, etc).

The opening theme of SFP is 'Big City Rock - Human' and its ending theme is 'Train - Drops of Jupiter'. Both of these are tentative choices and may change with player input, and my own preferences. There are other songs I can use, but almost all of them are OPs/EDs of actual anime, so I'm ruling those out for use as the opening or ending. I do reserve the right to use them otherwise, however.

Each episode will have a title that has something to do with the main plotline of that episode. The plot will not always begin right away, though, so the title, like so many other anime episode titles, may seem relatively meaningless.

Each episode will begin and end with a scene I deem appropriate for such a purpose. I also reserve the right to rearrange posts if I think it'll make the plot flow better.

"You have your orders, and so do I."

Pisces Station is a Scorpio-class Star Fortress orbiting the aquatic world of Albini. Commanded by former comm specialist Marina Arisa, the partially-finished station borders Nepleslian and Elysian space, is very close to NovaCorp HQ, and is expected to be visited by a great deal of civilian ships on their way to other destinations. The administrative crew is currently being brought to the station to personally oversee the finishing stages of construction, and also to assist in installing the KAMI system. Many stubborn Nepleslians and Geshrin are expected to be transferred here, as well.

Post your character's information here to sign up for this ship.

Seems a little sterile to me. *shrug* I also don't like the colors - it should have blues and greens.

The logo in the center will do though, for the banner.

EDIT: I just remembered, I'm gonna get Leutre to do up a mission patch for me.

>,> But it is blue and green.

Ace Combat 3 OST - Camber

<center>MUSIC IN JPs</center>
Look up there at the header of this post. There, you should see something that says 'Post subject: Ace Combat 3 OST - Camber'.

A new, innovative feature of the Pisces Station plot is the use of this oft-neglected Subject line. In this place, I will put in recommended listening for JPs. (If there is no song appropriate, I will list 'None'.) Using such resources as Galbaldia Hotel and YouTube, I expect my crew to be able to easily listen to anything I mention, no matter how obscure.

I expect you to use this feature as well - in mini-JPs and SPs, post a song appropriate to the situation, or 'None' if you have none. With this feature, I expect roleplay on the station to be that much more immersive.

Another note - I can't use this feature on the first post of an Episode, so I will instead post the song on the first line of the post. Also, should for any reason there be a change of song during a post or the song doesn't start until later in the post, you should put it on a line where the switch happens, or one should start listening to a song.

Now, wasn't that song just fully appropriate for an explanatory post? ^_~

I wouldn't be surprised really. FM is totally a slave driver. I think I've lost the feeling in my drawing hand.

The good news, Leutre, is that you'll only have to do one. Osaka has pledged to draw a version of Marina in uniform.

And I'll be damned if I'll let him forget it.
