RP: NSS Acadia [Post Mission 3]: R&R (Rest and Rations)

Sam grinned around the mouth of her whiskey, setting the bottle down to give Alex a hearty slap on the shoulder. "Means he likes ya! You should go over there an' ask him to your quarters!"

Alex really looked at Sam. "Why would I ask him to my quarters?" she asked. Then she sipped a little from a whiskey bottle. It tasted strange, kind of hot but nice after a while. They it got to her what Sam meant. "Oh you meant that!" she said and even on her orange face red could be seen as she blushed. Alex wouldn't rather think abotu that so she took another sip. She tehn continued, "but really! Why should I ask him to do that bloody hell? Are also asking every girl that smiles at to go and ..... and ...... and do things with you?"

Carina had moved on to the pudding by the time the two seemed to be deep in discussion. Really...it was good pudding, pudding meant for the Master Chief so it even included a little nip of something that made her feel a little relaxed, with a little warmth seeping into her belly. It always did that...but still it tasted good.

When they mentioned a boy her face soured slightly the spoon still in her mouth. She took it out. "Ewww...ya' like boys like tha'?" she asked peering over at Alex then. Of course she wouldn't really understand, she was seven! "Ain't ya' worried about...cooties?" the little girl asked in a low, serious tone.

"Nah," Sam remarked, thoughtfully. "Too busy for gettin' laid. He totally likes you, though, an' as long as we're not gettin' shot you shouldn't have to patch anybody up, right?"

Alex didn't know if she should answer sooner to Sam or Carina. Finally she decided to let Carina go and answered Sam. "But that is not the point!" Her voice was higher, beacause shewas quite irritated. "Maybe I have free time, but that doesn!t mean I should go and ..... and do that! I don't even want to do that! Do you always do it when you are not 'busy'? I don't think so. I think there are times and places AND people for that. And it is not now, here and not with him. At least not now." With that she took her little whiskey bottle and emptyied it in one big gulp. She was a little angry, embarrased and completely red.

"...damn. Looks like I hit a nerve." Sam simply shrugged and turned away from the medic, looking back at Carina. "How's the puddin' goin'?"

Carina looked up at Sam then, spoon right in front of her face, licking at it the pudding in the serving dish having disappeared. She put the spoon down, and looked at the dish then.

"S'all gone. S'always good tho'. Tha' girly man gets grumpy when he don' get it." she said with a little smile. "Jus' makes it better, yeah?"

"As long as that little thing keeps fuckin' Suku from blowing a gasket, I'll be happy." The Chief grinned, lighting another cigarette, and upon looking over his shoulder, Fian's shoulder, and Rico's shoulder, pulled out something from his back pocket. It was a piece of undergarment, the only characteristic of which was that it looked like it belonged to someone who was very angry. Ran tossed them to Rico, feeling like he just gave a six year old a murder weapon "Try to find a home for 'em, sar'nt"

Putting out his cigarette on his arm, the Chief munched it down and pulled out another. "Speaking of woman issues." The Chief said, bobbing the cigarette down to the tune of a metal lighter opening and closing. He took a drag and let it out of his nostrils.

Again, he checked over everyone's shoulders for anyone listening in. "Anyone noticed the strange assets one of our Marines has? And don't pull that fucking 'Everyone is different' bullshit on me. There's no way a dude can come out of basic while keepin' that kind of figure." The Chief kept all this at a whisper.

While Chief Ran and Sergeant Rico were talking away, Master Chief Fian felt that the situation had returned to normal enough to restart the awards ceremony. He keyed in the appropriate security codes to access the ships Public Announcement system on his Datapad and then worked up a silver tongue.

Attention! All marines report to the Cafeteria for debrief.

By the time he looked back up, the white piece of lingerie had already crossed his field of vision.

"You mean P3C Sam Oliver?" Fian piped up. "His dossier and report from basic checks out fine. Wasn't he worked on by Suku, post-Rok'Veru? Eh, suck on it harder Chief, we got to go."

Edward ate his stew in silence, he listened with half an ear to alex talking and couldn't help blanching a little, he had embarrassed miss alex. but a few moments later there was no more time because the MC had made an announcement, Edward immediately sat up straight and swivelled to watch the MC, waiting for his signal to form up.

Though not a Marine, Suku more often than not attended debriefings just to stay up to date. Fian was lucky today, he had made the announcement after Suku had finished her reports. If he had only called out about a minute or so earlier, she would have had reason to grab her liston knife again. This was not the case, thankfully, and she stood from her post in front of the computer and walked off to the cafeteria.

As she traversed the corridors she reached up to straighten her garrison ha--...

It wasn't there, the Medical Officer had forgotten who or where she left her hat. The fact that Carina had it tucked in her back-pocket most likely drowned in the rage of having to do paperwork.

Where'd I leave my hat? Suku stopped, and looked back towards the door of the med-bay. An expression of annoyance rolled over her face, and she continued walking with a huff. She wasn't going to trouble herself in getting her garrison hat, wherever it was, she was hungry, and would be damned if she didn't get anything to eat. The Medical Officer began to wonder where Carina may have run off too, but surmised that with all the trouble aside, she would be fine. Most of the Marines knew what would happen to their genitals if they even 'thought' of harming a hair on her head.

Alex looked up when annoucment soudned through the halls of Acadia. Well she already was in Cafeteria se there was no problem. She will jsut wait up with opening next bottle of whiskey. Instead of that she opened one of the ration she swiped and put second in front of Sam. She was still angry and food is best healer of the soul.

Inside the Nepleslian War Ration Alex found a pork bbq sandwich. The side packet contained PROFIT (a type of biscuit) and the accessory packet contained a Kennewessian cigar and THRUST protein bodybuilding soda along with the other usual items. The ration also contained a small jerry can of lighter fluid.

Alex smiled and swiped a little bottle of whiskey for later. With that she dug in.

Sam rubbed a hand over her scalp. "Well, we're already here," she said cheerfully to no one in particular. "Any idea what it's gonna be about, puddin'?" The marine looked down to her little friend. "You hang out with th' bigwigs, I bet you got all the inside info."

Carina had been steadily working on the large cup of juice in front of her as the overhead PA system clicked on, and a familiar voice piped through.

Attention! All marines report to the Cafeteria for debrief.

The little girl looked up from her cup, up at the air and then over to Sam. When the marine had asked her the question, frankly she put on a somewhat confused expression before shaking her head.

"I 'unno what tha' girly man wants."

Suku stepped into the cafeteria, quickly finding herself a place in line to get something to eat. She got herself a sandwich, and then extra one after giving one of the Kitchen girls one of her deathly glares. With a large drink on her tray and a quick stroll over to the center of the cafeteria and looked for a place to sit. She spotted Carina sitting with some other marines, seemingly getting along well with the other Marines. It brought a smile on Suku's face for once during that day as she walked over at sat next to the girl, throwing quick, less attentive glances at the other Marines at the table.

"Hey sweetie, you makin' some friends?" Suku smiled at the girl, forgetting all about the DataJockey incident.

Carina peered over at Suku, her little cheeks a slight tinge of red as the woman smiled at her. She nodded her head vigorously at the question and hiccuped slightly causing her to do a the barest hop in her seat. She did so again and again.

"Yea', I'm makin' shome friendsh..." her voice a little slurred as she tried to dab up what little of the pudding in the bowl there was left and shove the finger into her mouth. She swayed a little in her seat, hiccuping.

Sean had found a seat off in the corner, and was nursing a bottle of something. He wasn't sure what, he just knew it wasn't working quite as effectively or quickly as he would like it to, because he was nowhere near being drunk; in fact, he would barely qualify his current status as buzzed, and that would be a stretch. He turned around to look at the MC when the announcement came through, debating whether he was supposed to stand or not.

Sam's face took on a look of terror as Suku approached the table, but it lessened as she realized the woman wasn't specifically out for her blood. She decided to paly it safe and keep quiet, though... at least until Carina started hiccuping. She covered her mouth to hide a huge smile and ruffled the small girl's hair with the other hand.

"You sure you're alright, puddin'?"

Suku held a smile on her face until she saw the drunk features on the child's face. A cold, plain expression washed over her face as she looked at the rest of the Marines at the table, this time, her hate showing through her cutting, purple eyes.

"Did someone give Carina alcohol?" said Suku in a strained tone to everyone at the table. Her glare rested on Sam as he seemed to be enjoying the situation.

Carina held the empty pudding dish up to Sam, and then showed it to Suku. The little girl continued to sway in her seat, looking quite content despite the rising anger in Suku's voice.

"Thish puddin' is makin' me feel weird." she piped up before dropping it back on to the tray, making grabby hands for the cup until she finally grabbed it. Carina sloshed the contents a little as she then began drinking, some running down and out of the side of the cup.
