In the shadow of the great Urufutake, or Wolf Mountain, the village that the Kaiyō personnel were now in showed almost no signs of life amid the torrent of snowy storms that passed through. On the night before Yamatai's Year-End celebrations, the crew of the YSS Kaiyō II had been sent to Takekumori after a canceled shore leave in Kyoto in the dead of darkness with no briefing on their plans going forward. Only a few of them were even awake, now, a mere three hours after arrival amid the chaos of white powder fall.

Rods of peachy, early morning sunlight passed through gaps in storm clouds and mountain peaks fleetingly. The luminescence hit packed snow particles in a shimmering, blinding fashion frequently. The glimpses of the town in the random brilliance of sunlight was becoming trying for Deio Asuka as she tried to catch sight of a place she had never been. Her gloved hands pushed deeper into her outer jacket's pockets as she unconsciously sighed out after she had almost forgotten not to focus on the bright patches of light when her infrared vision was still being utilized. She saw the foggy breath that had escaped from her at once directly in front of her person, then passing behind, above, and away from her so that she could no longer see it. The whiteness of that coalesced with the white flurry of snow that blanketed much of upper Yamatai in the last month of the year, this town included. Asuka's pace quickened soon after her eyes focused off of the fog from her own lungs and on the cascading appearance of blue and white hair coming from a recently cracked doorway. Asuka looked away from Hoshi and to the building in a small state of wonder. Just like many others in this part of Takekumori, it almost appeared one with the hilly landscape of smooth white hills, save for its bright, primary color facade. Asuka looked back to her captain and spoke.

"Hoshi-sama," Asuka said brightly as she quickly jogged to the doorway. Hoshi bowed after stepping away to allow Asuka room to enter and after a return bow from the redhead.

"Happy Holidays, Asuka-chan!" Hoshi's deep blue eyes were bright as she hugged the red-head around the waist and spoke on, "Hopefully we get to celebrate back in Kyoto as my cosplay and gifts are still there, same for you?"

Asuka nodded while smiling, then spoke, "As far as gifts go, yes." Hoshi moved from Asuka and gestured to a few amenities in the room, which had a large, open floor plan that took up most of the building they were in.

"A place for wet or icy boots or outerwear is there, warm coffee and hot chocolate are available near the door as well. I think a bathroom is back there but I haven't used it. I really like the exposed wooden rafters and-" By this point, Asuka was out of her shoes and looking around, predominantly and curiously at the people she had yet to speak to that were in the room. "Yes," Hoshi said, "Some crew are already here and on time, like you." Hoshi sighed like there was a story there, and there was.

"Not everyone is up and I am worried because our crew who are to be woken up by Belmont-chui have not digitally reported waking up. I have already dispatched Boss to wake up Belmont-chui, or to at least see what is happening there." Hoshi's smile had brightened before she spoke next, partly because she was now leading Asuka by the arm to the hearth and volumetric screen near it. "I happened to get the antiquated volumetric screen to connect to SYNC to watch one of my Year-End favorites!"

Asuka looked at the screen and raised her brows, "Oh, this movie?! Oh I have seen this one. You described it really, um," Asuka's eyes had widened and looked at a loss for words, then said, "Differently!"

Hoshi spoke in a low voice in Asuka's ear, "I was told it would be connected to PANTHEON for the briefing, if you could figure that out at some point?" Hoshi neatly deposited Asuka on the sofa next to the seated hourglass figure of Sadow Masami, one of the people Asuka had ridden here with from Kyoto. Asuka didn't quite look at Masami, but her legs and hips were squeezed between her and the arm of the maroon cushions of the suede couch. Hoshi's own form had quickly floated to the fireplace's side and a fire iron was now in her hand, the charred end of which began moving fire-bearing logs about.

"Will do, Captain-Chusa!" Asuka said with a smile. Asuka held the smile as she turned her head to look at Masami and spoke, again, "I apologize for such an informal first meeting, especially while wearing uniforms. I do believe I am not on time like the Chusa said, but maybe even a little late. I thought I would be walking in late to the briefing in full swing! Well, it seems the idea to get Belmont-chui a rooster for all his hens this Year-End was a very good one one my part!" A wry smile had cracked on Asuka's face as she looked at the other people seated, letting them know they were in on the joke if they wished, before her sapphire pupils again settled on Masami.

Well, she finally did it, she managed to get transferred onto a ship. Her new assignment was known as the YSS Kaiyo 2. She was able to see some images of the ship, and from her first sight of the ship, she had to admit it was beautiful, very beautiful, and she felt honored to be serving aboard such a fine vessel. Unfortunately, she wasn’t there yet, no she was ordered to head to a snow-laden town, which according to what she knew was called Takekumori.

She was not all that sure about this place, it was far too cold, but she chose to keep her opinions to herself, deeming it not important, so silence came from her mouth as the few month old Neko sat there on the sofa, with the others.

Wyatt was never really affected by the cold, call it a side effect of being a ranger at one point or maybe even just his upbringing but while the Minkan still of course got cold when the temperature lowered he just didn't seem to feel it as much - It seemed like he was wearing the standard uniform with dress pants swapped out for cargo ones and boots instead of the shoes but the recently acquired black panel was as prevalent as ever, in reality though that was all an illusion, a high quality volumetric projection made by the para-aramid bodysuit currently being worn underneath one of the semi-recently manufactured plate carriers.

Of course it just looked like he was wearing a modified type 35 uniform, the whole setup being slim enough to remain hidden underneath the holograms but that was the intention and thus far it seemed to be working as intended. Since becoming an NCO and making it through the tribulations of SAINT retraining it was as if a whole other plane of reality had opened up to him, the Minkan's mind had already identified every possible weapon and entry/exit point in the building - that iron poker the Chusa was using next to him was one such example, it was a rather sharp implement and had decent weight behind it with the handle allowing a degree of flexibility.

The vats of hot chocolate or coffee were enough to scald the skin, provide a momentary distraction and confusion in the ensuing chaos but damn did the hot chocolate taste good - Wyatt took another mouthful from his own mug and gulped it down, letting out a small breath of satisfaction before he wiped a small bit that had sullied the coppery mustache across his upper lip, something else he'd recently acquired and while she may not have liked the fledgling stages Saya agreed it looked so much better now that it had time to grow out.

"Greetings Chusa, I trust things are well with you?" Wyatt inquired from beside her as he turned to face Hoshi, the roaring fire making his shock of coppery hair and amber eyes almost look like they were glowing in the current lighting - they had some time before the others arrived and the briefing commenced so why not be a good little field operative and find out what had been going on in his absence, that monotone voice and the face of indifference he'd become known for before the brief absence still very much there after his return.

In short, Field Operative Wyatt Alder seemed indistinguishable from the Marksman he'd been prior - the black panels hadn't drastically changed his personality or at least they did a good job of hiding any changes.

It felt so surreal to be back, even though it probably shouldn't have been all things considering. Even so, it had been a while since she had been assigned onto a ship and was going to get to see some real action. Sure, working near the capital had its perks. You weren't in real danger of getting shot, mangled, or worse. But...it did get unbearably boring, especially with the piles of paperwork and routine routes she was given. She longed to be back on the Kaiyō II, tasked with discovery and testing, which basically meant nothing was ever a repeat! And now, she was finally back with the crew.

The daur glanced up from the steam wafting up from the rich brown liquid freshly poured into the cold, white mug. "Well..some of the crew at least." She thought to herself as she observed the group, some of them familiar, most of them strangers. She'd push some of her long side bangs back over her shoulder as she turned and leaned back against the table with her hips, lifting the mug to her lips to take a quick sip of the hot liquid.

"Mmm.." the daur exhaled out of her still red nose, enjoying the warmth of the hot chocolate in her tummy as well as between her hands, warming the frozen, slender fingers. Peering over the rim of the mug, the daur checked over the people in the room again, again finding it odd at how empty it was. Hopefully, the rest would be showing up soon, there was enough cups, coffee, and hot chocolate for them all after all, so they must be on the way soon.

"See the ball, boy? See it? Yes you do!" Gravity cooed softly in baby-talk as she waved the little rubber sphere in the creature's face. The tiny thing's golden eyes were fixated upon it in anticipation, its leathery, green tail wagging back and forth. Beaming with unyielding love for her end-of-year gift, the blue pilot pulled back her arm and hurled the ball with all of her Neko strength into the air.

The small dragon watched it go for several seconds before rocketing into the skies in a plume of kicked-up powder. It set itself on a perfect intercept course for the projectile, nabbing it in its teeth and swooping back around towards its owner.

"Good boy!" Gravity gushed as she caught the dragon in her arms and rocked it back and forth. "Who's mama's little Starlight?! You are! Yes you are!"

Starlight the drake squawked in excitement and bombarded his owner in kisses, much to her giggling delight. He was a miniature replica of Apollo in all respects, save for the lack of telepathic communication. Gravity missed her much larger dragon, but she would still love this little robot with every fiber of her being. Jax had made good on his word during the festival earlier in the year, a fact for which she was forever grateful. She was even more grateful to Sacre for bringing this little bundle of energy into her life.

Having been shipped to Takekumori just hours before, Gravity had decided to take some time to sneak out into the cold, dark morning to train the little beast. From what the instruction manual had said, a drake didn't really require constant upkeep like a real pet. In fact, it could just be stuffed into a closet indefinitely if that was what the owner wished. But she would never do that to Starlight, and she'd personally break the legs of anyone who tortured their drake in such a fashion.

Trudging through the cold, clutching a purring mini-dragon, Gravity made her way back to the crew's temporary quarters, where she opened her duffel and placed Starlight in a cozy crevice surrounded by socks and other clothing.

"Sleep tight, little one. Mama will be back soon." She whispered. Starlight gave her a quick nod before powering down completely. He wouldn't wake again until commanded. Gravity zipped her duffel back up before heading to the briefing.

"Morning!" She called out in an an oddly cheerful fashion. Like, Gravity was a cheerful person in general, but ever since coming back from Ayenee she'd been much more subdued. She'd healed a lot after losing Apollo, but having Starlight had finally closed the wound entirely. The original Gravity was back, and sitting in a small, frozen town with her crew around the holidays. It had been a wild ride, but it appeared that the Neko had come full circle. If they explored an ancient temple, that would be the icing on the cake.

Gravity mulled this over as she padded to the coffee machine, where she poured herself a Gravity-sized mug of caffeine to fight the cold.

Turning around, she spotted none other than the white floof, and paused.

Jesus, she really did come full circle.

"Oh my god!" She squealed and dashed to the daur, wrapping her arms around the fox-girl's neck! "Nora! You're back!"

A certain 99 Day Nekovalkyrja with golden-brown skin was among the first to wake up and arrive at the building. Before going inside, the young Neko decided to take a long walk around the village in order to savor the beautiful light of the winter sunrise and to explore the area around Urufutake. With great strength of will, she managed to resist the urge to take an impromptu hike along the trails, which would have eventually taken her to the peak of the mountain if she managed to cover its entire length. If she had opted to walk the trail, it would have taken her longer than the entire day to reach the peak, which was wholly unacceptable considering the fact that she needed to be in the building within the hour. Instead, she simply contented herself with exploring the town and embracing the view of the mountain.

After getting herself warmed up, Masami stripped off her clothes in the bathroom and produced the hologram of a standard military bodysuit over her skin before taking a place on the couch. She had been seated on the couch for only a few minutes when Asuka arrived inside, with a warm cup of hot chocolate perched on the table in front of her as well. The violet-eyed Neko returned Asuka's sapphire gaze with an affectionate smile of her own and a golden-brown hand around the redheaded Neko's waist. The difference between her own rank and Asuka's did not cross the mind of the somewhat touchy-feely Hei.

"I had a vivid dream about you last night." Masami spoke in a quiet voice as her eyelids fluttered in a coquettish manner. "I would tell you about it or transmit it to you, but...I think it'll be better explained...later." Knowing that Asuka was seated close enough to feel the bareness of Masami's golden-brown skin against her body, the violet-eyed Neko transmitted a teasing sensation of excitement to Asuka via a telepathic connection.

In the meantime, Masami briefly looked at the other members of the crew as they entered room. Her gaze fell upon a tall, white-haired Daur who carried herself with the grace of an athlete, a peppy blue-skinned Nekovalkyrja who her digital mind identified as the helmswoman, and a black-paneled Minkan who possessed a bright red mustache which made him look like a cartoon character from a particularly obscure anime. If their gazes happened to find their way towards Masami, the golden-brown Neko would grant each of them a receptive smile before she refocused her attention on Asuka.

A groan and a creaking sound as the Neko rose from where she had been sitting on the sofa, wanting to make sure her feet didn’t fall asleep as if that’s possible. She allowed her red eyes to take in the environment around her, before feeling the need to use the bathroom, then leaving. Her ears twitched on themselves when she picked up the sounds, muffled sounds from the outside, there was conversation inside, though sadly she was not a part of it. She was new, very new so it’s possible she didn’t make friends as they all had. She hoped to change that since she was now a part of the Ship with them all.

A Neko walked in from the outside, she was certain she had seen her, playing with a creature that looked like one of those Drakes. At the blue-skinned Neko’s greeting, she greeted back, verbally since she knew saying good morning was polite and thus important. She started to go over towards her following to the coffee. She did want to interact with her since they’d had a thing in common namely their blue skin. But it appeared that the Blue Neko had spotted the fox girl, she recognized as a daur, and it appeared she knew her.

She didn’t want to interrupt a conversation between friends, so she chose to look round once more, which was where she caught the sight of the golden-brown Neko who appeared friendly at least she was given a smile. She waved and smiled back at her in response, and thought maybe she should go over there, and talk to the woman that the golden-brown was talking to. Unless she was distracted by another who might have wanted to talk to her.

Her tail swished behind her, an action she chose to ignore since she was used to it. The tail reminded her about how different she was with the others here. Her ears twitched again as she picked up the conversation again.

Nora's ears twitched with the sound of the door opening off to her side, but had paid little attention to it, for all of a sudden she really wanted another sip of her hot cocoa now that it was cooled off a bit more. Just as she gulped down a hot mouthful of the rich stuff, a shriek next to her would make her body jerk, the thick fur of her tail suddenly exploding out in every direction as it stood straight up, making the already largely proportioned appendage look two times bigger.

Just as the daur's head whipped around to the side to see who it was, a flash of blue whisked by her face as the arms of a certain neko wrapped themselves around the girl's neck, a body smacking into her shoulder. "Ack!" The fox girl explained as she stumbled to the side to counteract the momentum, trying her best not to spill the precious contents of her white mug. The daur was already certain she knew who it was that had her in their arms, but the long black braid that dangled in front of Nora's face confirmed it.

A wide smile spread across the fox girl's face as her free arm moved up to hang onto one of Gravity's arms in the best embrace she could manage in this position. "Haha, hey Gravity!" The daur said in a slightly higher pitched voice than her usual, her chest swelling with happiness to the point of discomfort even. She'd not expected to be this excited to be reunited the crew; she must have missed it way more than she'd originally thought.

"How have you been?! Where did you go?! Will you finally tell me the secret of how you keep your hair so soft and fluffy?!" Gravity blurted all at once, trying her best to calm down. But holy shit, it was one of the floofs! Now they just needed Katsu back and the ship's floof-quota would be satisfied!

Masami did not register the presence of yet another blue-skinned Nekovalkyrja within the room until the infantrywoman in question stood up from the couch and gave her a wave. For a brief moment, a pleasantly surprised expression crossed Masami's features, which was quickly followed by a coy wink.

Wanna come over? Masami transmitted to the shy-looking, blue Nekovalkyrja via telepathy. There's still room! She added in a coquettish manner as she adjusted her position on the couch, and gestured towards a tiny space between herself and Asuka which was barely big enough for Kiyomori to squeeze herself into. To say the least, Kiyomori would find herself squeezed into a very intimate position between Asuka and Masami, if she opted to take the seat.

"W-w-wait! One at a time!" The daur laughed as she changed her footing to stabilize the two, the neko still leaning on her as Nora was stuck in her embrace. The fox girl's free hand reached up to pat Gravity's arm before she nodded to a nearby couch. "Let's sit and I'll tell you all my stories and secrets, how about that?" Her tails swished behind her, the hairs finally starting to settle down and look somewhat normal.

Hoshi's face had turned to Wyatt when her eyes caught sight of the greetings between friends and it looked as if the reflections in her deep blu eyes from the crackling fire to her left tripled at the sight. Her chin tilted so that she could watch the enthusiasm better as her smile leapt up on her pale pink face. Eventually, she turned with her body first, and then her face turned to look at Wyatt, once more, before she spoke.

"I could be better, Alder. The Chui being absent leaves me unable to perform my duties during a war."

Meanwhile, Asuka's chin pushed towards her neck and chest, which made her orangey red bangs onscure her flustered expression. Slowly and silently both hands had settled quickly on Masami's nearest thigh, cupped over one another. As if waiting for the words to rise to pass her lips, she spoke quietly and only when she felt ready.

"I wish I could hide my disappointment better, Masami-chan. I was under the impression that vivid dream was real for the both of us. I suppose there is always a golden lining to look for." Her eyes raised from her cupped and peachy hands that now rested on the other woman's tanned and shining thigh to look at the Santô Hei's creamy eyes. "The pleasure of living in your dreams, that pleasure is enough for this Nekovalkryja," Asuka added in quiet reverie with eyes watching Masami.

Momentarily, the deep blush and concerned, flustered expression had vanished, but the red-head looked from Masami to the others in the room. With a blink of her heavy lashes, Asuka felt vulnerable, but not alone. The hand below her top hand squeezed the thigh of the woman next to her as her face perked and smiled, then she stood. Only the thoughts and feelings of Asuka's parting touch relayed to Masami a small fraction of the now-restrained feelings Asuka held.

Asuka moved her touch from Masami to Kiyomori, then spoke as she held the other Neko's fingertips with her own hand, "Konichiwa, Kiyomori-hei!" Her hand's gentle embrace had already released. Asuka moved down next to the fire by kneeling and sitting back on her backside. "Have you had a chance to meet the ship captain, yet? If you have not, I would say now is as good of a time as any. There's not much room by the fire and couch, so if you sit where I was sitting, there will be more room," she was looking very directly at Kiyomori with the widest of closed smiles, then she added, "I super warmed it up for you, that's why I am sitting by the fire now. I used up all my warmth on that seat, so make good use of it!"

She waved, and her actions were noticed, though she wouldn’t be surprised to be labeled as shy after all, that’s one of the labels others had assumed about her since she didn’t talk much. It surprised the other blue Neko it turned out, and then she noticed the wink before she heard a woman’s voice in her head. She soon discovered it was the woman who had winked at her’s voice, as indicated by the gesture.

She decided she should approach the two of them, for a chance to make some friends, but as she made her approach, she discovered that there might not be room enough for her as well. She did think of sitting on the floor, she thought that was fine with her since she wasn’t so special that she needed an actual seat. She’d been lucky before to manage to get one.

Before she could proceed with sitting on the floor beside them, One of them, the Ittô Heisho. She remembered having read a list of those that were assigned to the ship. She appeared to be getting up, but she hoped it wasn’t because of her. Asuka had chosen to greet her, all the while holding her hand specifically her fingertips as she spoke to her. She remembered her manners and she knew how important it was for her to respond appropriately, even so, her first impression of the other Neko was that she seemed nice, very polite.

“Konichiwa, Asuka-Heisho,” she told her, then like a good girl she listened as her Heisho spoke to her, asking if she had a chance to speak with the Captain yet. Unfortunately, she hadn’t done so, since she seemed to be busy talking to someone else.

Perhaps she should go and meet with the captain, but she did want to stay and speak with the other blue Neko, she was thinking it was a little rare for Nekovalkryja to be blue-skinned like the two of them. In the end, duty won. “Sempai” she said to Masami “I think I should go and speak with the Captain, and make my introduction, though I’d like to talk with you afterward, if that’s alright with you, unless you wish to come along,that..is acceptable too” She told her, and waited for her response before she turned to go meet Captain Hoshi, though Asuka was right the seat was warm.

"Apologies, I should clarify, as well as you can be given the circumstances," Wyatt spoke back to rather bluntly to better explain his previous statement before the Minkan's gloriously amber-hued oculars drifted across to seemingly admire a framed photo that sat proudly atop the fireplace, the photo itself was simply one of the local landscape... he guessed some time during spring due to the local flora's discolouration compared to what he had seen on the way in and the angle of the sun in the sky - in fact Wyatt found himself almost unable to make such observations recently but the photo itself was not important so much as what he was looking at in the reflection of its glassy display layer.

Almost all the faces were new to him though the currently assembled portion of the crew seemed to be mingling rather well, the blue-skinned pilot giving a rather boisterous greeting to a white haired Daur did make him wonder though if people had even noted he had been absent - besides maybe the three people who needed to know, those that he'd personally told. It mattered not though, mostly he was waiting with bated breath for the tell-tale pink braid attached to a certain medic Wyatt was more than a little fond of.

Morale seemed good, so he'd just take that as a hopeful sign of things to come.

After the distraction that lasted only a fraction of a second his gaze returned to Hoshi before the Minkan continued what he had been saying, "Though if you were going to inquire then I'll inform you that your previous XO had been making the most of her situation when I as briefly graced by her presence, and she requested I pass on a hello from her to you - so Hello from Eden," the SAINT operative informed the Chusa as his mind wandered to what mischief the ship's last remaining Belmont could be getting up to that might be keeping him away, the first and most obvious answer was that the man with monochromatic hair had been buried underneath one of the hordes of appreciative girls he seemed to keep acquiring though if not that then what?

"I assume mayhaps you already have somebody off to rouse Chui Belmont though, yes?" he suggested to Hoshi before noting someone, who was quickly identified as one Kiyomori by his facial recognition plugin, seemed intent on speaking to the Captain herself - it would most likely make the shy-looking girl's self-introduction a lot easier if a black-panel such as himself wasn't making it apparent that he was listening in, what with all the mythos and superstitions about what they were capable of.

Though at the same time he did not wish to seem rude by running away, and so chose to remain rooted with half a mug of hot chocolate lifted to his mustache once more - after all Wyatt would need to acquaint himself with all the new personnel at one point or another so why not streamline the process?

The winter cold had bit right through the winter-pattern poncho wrapped tight around Hildr, the cold seeming to suffuse her body as well as her thoughts. She was normally not like this, holding herself aside and away from others. My new crewmates, she reminded herself, though even that thought flowed through her mind like ice as she had disembarked with the others at the small winter cabin outside the town. Hildr had cast a look around, the awe at being on another planet and Yamatai itself no less having frozen with the rest of her. Only through a couple forays into the mountains during basic had prepared her for cold weather duty, but even on Nataria the cold had seemed less. I'm light years from home, with my first posting, surrounded by new people and experiences, she thought bitterly, and I feel like I'm out in the cold. Literally. That thought at least brought a thaw to her icy demeanor, a small grin curling her lips.

The last week had been such a blur for Hildr, from graduation to her first ship off of Nataria, sudden orders to join to join the crew of the YSS Kaiyō II, and then hurried into transports into the winter storms. She had had no time to introduce herself, and even if she had, Hildr wasn't sure she'd even know what to say. This wasn't like her at all. In the morning, she resolved to herself, I'll make sure to introduce myself properly.

****

0702 Hours

Rest didn't come easily to Hildr, her nerves making her restless even as the others rested peacefully. The crimson-haired Neko had set herself up in the corner of the room near the sofa. She was still wearing her working uniform sans boots, her poncho draped over her kit after she had made sure it was free of snow and dry. She was rereading her orders and reading up what information she could find on the Kaiyō and her crew while nursing a cup of black coffee, when others started to fill the cabin space. She made her way to the sofa and leaned against the armrest slightly, next to a Neko with a playful air to her...Masami, Hildr recalled. She forced a warm smile to the few crammed onto the couch together, sipping idly at her drink as she took in the crew who filtered in.

The fox girl let out a small yelp as she was pushed along to the nearby couch. It was no sooner than her butt met the plush seat of the sofa when two standard issue shoes plopped into her lap. The daur blinked, her eyes slowly turning down to the large feet resting in her lap. Nora opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Her lips instead pulled into a tight smile while her snow white ears pulled back in a perturbed manner. With one swift motion, her arm scooped under the girl's legs and she slipped out from under Gravity's feet, planting her butt just far enough so that the neko had all the leg room she needed.

Her ears popped up again however as soon as Nora took a sip of her warm cocoa, however. It would be a shame to get caught up on something so silly. In fear that an excited Gravity could mean a spilled drink, the girl gulped down another quarter of her drink, leaning just a few gulps left to savor perhaps while she answered questions.

With a small pause to remember the questions in order, she lowered her drink, wrist raising to wipe away any chocolate mustache that may have been left on her upper lip. "How have I been? I've been alright. It's been a pretty slow, uneventful time away from the ship. I was stationed on a cushy detail near the capital, kept on reserve for the most part and did a lot of paperwork."

The daur took another sip of her lukewarm cocoa drink before leaning in a bit closer towards Gravity. "What's my secret to soft, silky hair? Coconut oil." She lifted up her free hand, her slender digits curled except for her index finger. "Just a small dab of it the tip of your finger is enough. Rub it into your palms to melt it down and then run your fingers through your hair," As she spoke, her hand reached back to grab her long ponytail and pull it foreward, turning the handful upside down and letting the hair splay apart over the sides of her fist. "-focussing on the tips of the hair which are the most oil deprived." She let go of the handful and let the white locks fall back down over her chest with the rest of the bundle of hair. "That will prevent breakage, split ends, and keep your hair looking shiny and healthy~!"

Alastair bolted out of the room leaving behind Elenor as he rushed to check and see if the rest of the crew was awake. Damn it, going to be late and Hoshi going to be very displeased. He thought to himself. He started to move down the hallway and bang on the doors of every crew that looked to have slept in.

His focus had been far too much on the encounter he had before he got word of this mission. He was bringing Nora back to the ship who fascinated him. He had heard about the Daur race from his Brother Mikodimus not too long ago. Short of bragging he told stories after a business trip and ever since Alastair had hoped to really get to know one. Either way this story would have to wait for another time.

He felt bad having to run off and cut short his talk with Elenor. It was nice getting to know the crew better and learn more about them. Duty called and Alastair was not about to get in the habit of being late. He finished his round and followed the sound of people talking. It was not long before he was in the room filled with people.

While trying to caught his breath. "Hoshi...reporting...for...duty." He gasped out as he leaned over himself to try and caught his breath.

Elenor wasn't going to rush nearly as much as Alastair was, owing that technically speaking, he was her superior officer, and had to manage making sure the rest of the crew were ready to be up and going. Herself, she was just walking to the room she heard more voices coming from, only to step aside as Alastair came through the hall like a cannon ball.

It brought a small chuckle out of her, even as Elenor reached the door just behind him, stepped to the side so that anyone coming up behind her could get into the room. She came to a more crisp and clean stance of attention, and gave a nod to Hoshi. "Hei Herrick, reporting Ma'am." She said, having schooled her face into a more impassive thing while waiting for acknowledgement from the commanding officer of the ship.

As the rest of the crew was rushing to get dressed and report in to Hoshi, William continued to sleep. The covers were thrown over his head as he attempted to catch just a few more minutes of sleep.

However with the others making so much noise, he gave up on sleeping and slid his feet off the bed. He yawned and stretched his arms wide as he proceeded to get dressed.

After sliding on his black coat, he stepped outside into the snow. The Nepleslian trudged through the street to the cabin and pushed the door open softly.

As he entered he slid off his combat boots and walked to Hoshi. "Goodmorning captain." He said rubbing the sleep out of an eye as he spoke.
