Aoba cut the transmissions to Thad and Zanven as clearly trying to talk to them was useless as they both gave him a bunch of back-talk instead of complying with his direct orders. "Pathetic," he grunted. This wasn't up to Star Army standards. He made a mental note to find their training units and lodge a very forceful complaint.

"Koyama, can you see if there's some way for the you to take remote control of the Nodachi? Its CIES AI is under the command of the ship's MEGAMI AI. If so, is opening the cockpit possible?" he asked his first officer. "If nothing else, please disable it."

He got in contact with the infantry team again. "I want this solved as soon as possible because the transports are scheduled to make the next jump in a few minutes to an low-sec non-Yamataian system and we need to change into our volumetric disguise," Aoba told the team (excluding Thad). "Just now, I gave him a fair chance to surrender and he didn't obey my order to cooperate with you, so do whatever you must to end this situation so the ship can get moving."

Shuttle Bay

Just then Pidole rushed into the hanger and her beetle Bidole launched off her spacesuit helmet and buzzed over to the Nodachi's cockpit keypad and entered the correct code to unlock it. Then it got out of the way.

"THAD GET THE FUCK OUT NOW," Cassie yelled at the Nodachi, scrambling up the side of it on all fours with her tail rapidly switching back and forth. She had been pissed at Thad before because he blew her off when she'd asked to be his girlfriend, but this was a whole other level. The way he was behaving infuriated her and things had gone from concerning to deadly serious. Was this guy really committing suicide because he knocked up his female coworker? Was she about to die in a grenade explosion? She tried to yank the unlocked cockpit open, literally about to pounce on Thad.

Hangar Bay
The journey from the Science Lab to the Hangar was by no means a short one, but Mochi had been on Fuji-class ships for enough years to know the quickest and most obscure shortcuts for occasions like this. Dropping from a jog to a paced walk, the Elysian emerged from an adjoining corridor into the Hangar proper. Clad in his Shinobi oversuit, Seinosuke glanced through the attached helmet at the scene.

Before them was the hulking mass of the Nodachi, which almost took Mochi aback for a moment. How such a substantial craft even fit through the hangar doors was a wonder - perhaps Pidole had removed the wings prior?

Either way, there were more pressing matters, yet it seemed like things were mostly under control. Placing down the spare toolbox beside him, Seinosuke focused on his science scanner. Changing the settings to sweep for ordinances, the Elysian activated the device. It seemed like nothing beyond the usual - notwithstanding the armaments on the Nodachi. There weren't any obvious signs of a live grenade or IED being primed.

"It looks like there's no hand grenade in there." The Elysian called out to the others who were already on-scene and moving in. As the first officer here, he felt it best to lay things out for Thad bluntly. Stowing his scanner on his belt, Mochi rested a gloved hand on his SiZi and kept a safe distance.

"Thaddeus! Every second you draw this out is damaging our mission readiness! Give it up before the charges start stacking up or we all wind up in an ambush!"

It looked like a Neko was already pouncing onto the craft, seemingly going to grapple or otherwise disable Thaddeus. Hopefully this would be over quickly, if all went well.

Delmira didn't relax as more people entered the hanger instead she was far more alert now than she was when she entered. She had more factors to contend with now that she had people who where literally trying to get drag Thad out of the cockpit. "Cassie, I got a line of sight on Thad in case he goes hostile." She didn't ping her location to her fellow soldier as she would already show up on her IFF and radar anyway.

Shuttle Bay

Sanda was a little taken aback by the captain's message. She knew Thad was dense, but for him to have spoken with Aoba and not obey immediately was beyond her. One thing was for sure, she would never see Thaddaeus as soldier again. If he somehow wasn't court martialed or transferred off the ship, he would be treated as a civilian. She was about to order Zanven to open the cockpit when Pidole's bug flew in and did it. Then a blob of fur came flying and screaming into the hanger. "Cassie? Cassie!" Sanda yelled.

The Anthro had scrambled up the side of the fighter and looked like she was going to rip him out of the cockpit with her bare hands. Sanda sprang into action. She swung herself up into the cockpit beside Cassie and gabbed one of Thad's arms. "Grab him!" Sanda shouted to Cassie. Within seconds, the two woman had Thad manhandled out of the cockpit and face down on the deck. Sanda pulled Thad's arm up tight behind her back and glanced up at Zanven. "Grab the restraints!" She barked at the pilot. With Thad pinned to the ground she quickly and efficiently removed anything that even looked like it could be a weapon off his body and tossed it aside. When she found the smoke grenade she pulled it out and looked down at Thad. "Dios mío, eres tan estúpido. ¿Valió la pena? ¿Poniendo en peligro todas nuestras vidas y la misión? ¿¡Para esto!?"

Hangar bay

“Stop, hey what the fuck! I had everything unlocked and you come in and fuck…” he watched Thad get jerked from his ship. And he sighed before getting out and grabbing the restraints. “Cassie, Sanda. Please let him go, captain gave me the order to detain him, I don’t give a fuck about your personal reasons here, nor do I care I am also in trouble for trying to prolong and salvage this.” He placed the restraints on Thad and then took Thad’s sidearm and tossed it away to the side. Before speaking aloud, Cassie and Sanda were in his immediate vicinity so this was probably a bit loud but the kid gloves came off when they fucking pried into his cockpit when it was already unlocked and the two were coming peacefully.

“Alright enough! I get this shit looks bad, but keep your heads level, we got a mission here. Let me finish my order to bring Thad in, Sanda, Cassie…and apparently everyone else here with a gun obviously trained on my damn head. Escort me to the captain. Scan my ship there are two compartments at the optional module wracks where it would be a good place to store any sort of weapon. Please and fucking thank you. Consider yourselves also escorting my flyboy ass to be detained as well.” He was heated, but he was a soldier and he was there to follow a fucking order. He grabbed the restraints and looked at Cassie “please secure his sidearm.” He then turned to Sanda. “I know I don’t seem like much but I would gladly die for my nation, and I’m no god damn traitor or insubordinate. Let me finish carrying out my order.” He would stare at Sanda, a fire in his eyes as he was not gonna back down from this.

“Thad you are under arrest.” He said with finality.

He figured might as well get this show on the road. Crew had an axe to grind after what happened with Mia. He'd hope to avoid things getting to this point but sadly that was not going to be the case. Was one of those things that complying or resisting would get you the same beating. Something he learned from his time dealing with the black knight. Sometimes people just had an axe to grind, Thad was just happy it was only him. Far too often he'd watch as those around him would be beaten, sometimes to death.

Thad had just enough time to put his his arms up. "I give..." He did not even get the chance to finish before being pulled from the seat and thrust to the ground. He was twisted up and thrust face first into the deck. He let out a big sigh that so far everything was going perfectly well. No one was shot and he only had a broken face. He could feel the crew removing his items. Then he seen the smoke grenade leave his jacket. His eyes opened wide to see it had a pin. It was in that moment, just a few feet away from them he heard the clang of the release. "Fuck".

Shuttle Bay
It appeared that things were going well, with the figure of Thaddeus being pulled from the cockpit and landing on the metal floor. Owch, that looked like it hurt. Soon enough, Zanven was down as well, seeming to be wanting to take charge of the situation.

Slipping his hand off the holstered SiZi and walking over, Mochi gazed at the assorted figures. "You may have missed it, Brax-hei, but we've all got orders to resolve this as quickly as possible, not just yourself. Credit where credit's due for finally taking action, though."

The Elysian continued, "Give Delmira-hei your weapon and report to the Captain with us. Sanda-hei and Cassie-hei are capable of confining Thaddeus on their own, I'm sure."

The senior officer turned to leave, but looked over his shoulder for a second. "Oh, and I don't know what you meant by us being detained, but you're both under arrest until we figure this out. Nobody else is otherwise detained or such."

"Let's be quick. The Captain may want to delay things until after our missi-" It was at this point that the smoke grenade detonated, causing Seinosuke to cough before activating his helmet and its optic sights to see through the obscurity.

Frank Waited onboard the logistics shuttle. his transfer orders in hand along with a duffle of his gear, from what he could understand the Nodachi was taking up quite a bit of space and needed to be moved so that the logistic shuttle could properly land. With this in mind Frank would make sure his uniform was in order whule he waited to land. "What the heck?" Frank would turn and raise his voice over the shuttle engines. "Whats the problem?"

With a brief pause the pilot would respond with. "Seems like a smoke grenade was set off in the hanger might be a riot onboard." Frank sighed shaking his head. "Why can't things ever be normal for a change." he said to himself as the pilot tried to figure out what was going on.

Thad was just getting comfortable on the floor before the crew picked him up to his feet. They walked slowly out of the shuttle, getting pushed along the way.

Thad finally lifted his head. "So anyone care to share why I have been arrested or is this going to be a surprise?" His voice was calm and showed no signs of being in distress.

Sanda ignored Zanven's complaining. She wasn't much in the mood for it. In fact, as soon as Cassie and Mochi had Thad in custity she just fell back. She had no desire to be around when he gave his lame excuses as to his intolerable actions. She hoped he was kicked off the ship for his stupidity. She took her helmet off leaned against the doorway.

Mochi was leading the convoy towards its front, removing the helmet from his head as they made their way towards the Bridge. "I would have thought it obvious, Thaddeus." The science officer replied, a touch of concern in his voice as to how the other man was able to pose such a question. "When you're given an order, it's required you follow it immediately.. Not try to finesse out of the situation." The Elysian glanced back as they made their way, his jade eyes meeting Thad's - "Captain Aoba will explain it to you if you're lucky, either way."

Delmira floated down from her perch on the catwalk and held out her hand out for Thad's confiscated sidearm. Delmira Looked at Sanda and walked over to her. "you ok?"

"We'll have to clear the Nodachi out of the shuttle bay, it's taking too much space," Pidole said after hearing from the bridge that there was a shuttle waiting with nowhere to land. "I'll start moving the parts out of the way so you can move it out of the ship, Zanven, and then I'll start with making a special docking system on the ship's underside. I already got captain Aoba to sign off on it," Pidole told the pilot. She removed her helmet breifly to let her beetle inside.

Thad looked over towards Mochi. "Will have to forgive me for not jumping when your being surrounded by power armor and asked to turn yourself in. I made no hostile action to justify such a reply. Or did I miss a bank getting robbed?" He was being serious but not so much that it would come off in the wrong way.

Sanda glanced at Del and shook her head. "This is supposed to be the greatest fighting force in the Galaxy. But the shit-show that just happened leaves me doubting that very much." She took a deep breath then managed a rueful grin. "You got into action pretty quick." She glanced at the sniper rifle she had grabbed. "You any good with that thing?"

Seinosuke was in two minds as to whether to entertain Thaddeus further. It was no wonder in his mind that when someone may have explosives that such a response may be warranted. "It's no use backchatting me, Thaddeus-hei, it'll just make things worse. You had plenty of time to give yourself up. Some of us even managed to get Mindys on." The intonation that Mochi used was cautionary, indicating he wasn't in the mood for more back and forth until they made it to the Bridge.

Delmira didnt respond to the rangers first remark, she didnt have anything constructive to add. She turned slightly so the rifle was more visable. "On the Kaiyo 2 i served as a marksman commonly, i much prefer direct action however."

Sanda snorted. "Me too. I like the idea of sniping someone from far away but I like getting up close with my blades." She looked sidelong at Del, almost suspicious that they were having a plesent conversation. Then she maged a smile. Maybe there was hope for her yet.

"I would rather just annihilate my enemy with overwhelming firepower. But a good soldier is flexible for most combat situations." Delmira added. "Speaking of we are supposed to jump soon and start our own mission soon correct?"

"There is a time and place for heavy fire power." Sanda agreed. Del's question suddenly reminded her what they were suppose to be doing. "Miércoles! I forgot all about that with what had been going on. I guess we should find Yayoi or Cassie and ask them." Sanda noticed Yayoi and moved over towards her. "Some show hu? What's the plan now?"

Thad decided it wasn't worth the time to try and get anything out of the crew. Would seem no one was going to share why he was captured. All he could figure is that the captain ordered him to be brought to Mia. Wouldn't it be a treat to be forced married to someone he just met.

Yayoi had been busy listening to her comrades before the announcement came through but now she simply watched since she didnt think she was needed.

Mochi raised his left wrist and glanced at the Type 34 bracelet that was displaying a countdown of time until their next destination. With the restraints of needing to manually open the hatches on the way to the Bridge, it was clear they wouldn't make it in time. Snapping the fingers of his right hand in annoyance, Seinosuke turned on the spot and sent a short radio burst.

"Alright- Everyone not escorting Thaddeus get to your general quarters - we're in Condition 1 after all." He rubbed his chin gently, "Cassie, get the Hei to his cabin with me and we'll lock him in for the duration."

SHUTTLE BAY

"Yes sir," Cassie nodded. "Come on big boy," she nudged Thad.

Zanven was eventually able to carefully guide the Nodachi towards the exit of the shuttle bay. "CLEAR THE DECK," Pidole called out. "The bay has to be vented so that I can open the door wider than designed. It will involve moving the air containment forcefield."

Outside of the ship, the cargo ships the Resurgence was escorting flashed and disappeared as they space-folded. A number of essentials unfolded very quickly so the Resurgence could catch up. First Aoba used the ship's volumetric, jamming, and stealth systems to make the ship look like one of the cargo ships. Second, Zanven's Nodachi left the bay and went out into space and took up a position under the Resurgence's belly. Next, the logistics shuttle landed in the bay with Frank aboard, and finally the ship space-folded and appeared next to the cargo ships in the DARSO star system.

After the shuttle was safely aboard, Pidole began fixing the hull plates and hull frame piece she'd had to remove to make room. Soon she was able to restore air in the shuttle bay. And this time it wasn't filled with smoke.

Frank would hop off the ship looking around in the hanger. "so who do i had my transfer papers to?"

Sanda was about to head to the Armory and get her gear for the upcoing mission when the logistics shuttle landed and a very tall man stepped off.

Frank would look to Sanda "hey out of curiosity what was with the smoke granade that went off earlier?"

Yayoi turned as Frank entered and observed him before she sighed not liking this "er.. dont ask," she said simply and stepped back to let Sanda handle things. Though she did speak agian."Welcome to the Resurgence."

Sanda glanced at Yayoi and sighed. Looks like she was elected as the welcoming commity. "Hola. You've arived in the middle of the stupidness peice of.... You came just as we're about to launch into the middle of a possible fight with pirates. Are you Power Armor certified? And can you follow goddamn orders?"

Delmira stayed in the hanger and attached Thads sidearm to her thigh plate. "Im going to check this into the armory." She told Sanda and Yoyai tapping the pistol.

Frank would nof to Sanda. "Yes im power armor Certifide and I'm a front line infantry android so Ideally yes I can and will follow order."

Sanda signed, "Sorry to snap at you. The situation we just had to deal with... Not your fault. Good. Then suit up and meet over in the Armory. We'll get you caught up to speed."

Frank would Salute before Heading back to the transport shuttle to put the Mindy suit he brought with him on. "Also Ma'am, if your having trouble keeping the peace on here I wouldnt mind aiding in knocking some sense into the cause of it. unofficially of course....gotta look good on paper right?"

Yayoi listened, and she couldnt help but grin at Frank's words. She liked the new man, she recognized as a Infantry soldier. She remembered them while she'd been stuck on Hanako's world, there were a few cells that managed to aquire the mindy Power armor, the lucky bastards.

Sanda laughed out loud. "I appreceate the promotion, but I'm not a Ma'am. I work a living."

Frank grinned as he began heading for the armory. "you sure bout that last I checked welcoming commitee is really that strenuous to count as work."

Sanda snorted. "Great, another comedian." Sanda headed for the armory as well and began to strip out of her beloved Daisy. She was certified to pilot a Mindy, but had almost never used one in combat.

Yayoi couldnt help but follow Sanda, and though she didnt know why, she couldnt helo but glance over to Sanda as she changed. She couldn't help but think of her youngest sister, Kiyo who was a Infantry and used the Mindy so much that she loved it.

Frank couldnt help but ask a question as he would walk to the armor. "So just checking but you guys dont happen to have people being to touchy feeling with the crewmates right? the last ship i was stationed on had a AI avatar who would do that."

Delmira was already in the armory Thad's sidearm was checked in and the neko was swapping out her sniper rifle for more close range weapons. She skipped on her missile pods and howitzer taking a gunblade and a assault rifle. She sent a message to Mia asking if she could pick up Dels discarded clothing and asking the other woman if she wants to talk later.

Sanda wheeled around on Frank with a look of death on her face. "Mister whatever-your-name-is. Half this damn ship is full of people who are way too touchy feely and that is what caused all the drama earlier. My advice, keep your hands and whatever else you've got to yourself and you won't have any trouble." Sanda began to mutter in her heart language.

Yayoi muttered "Fucking Thad" she said before she realized what she said.

Frank would grimace "Well I'll have you know my creator built me with respect in mind so you treat women with respect." Looking to Yayoi at the mention of a name. "do you need me to teach this Thad a lesson?"

"No" Delmira interjected. "Because there's a line to beat his ass." The Neko had a unusual venomous tone to her voice.

"Then I'll just take a number." he stated before grabbing a assault riffle and sidearm.

Yayoi rolled her eyes"i bet a million creds the line will be long, probably from Yamatai to Essia." She said

PASSAGEWAY

Thad was keeping a close watch on what was going on around him. Based on how the crew was moving around he figured they had jumped into hostile space. This seemed like an odd time to be a man down but guess he understood it too. Compared to the pirates, Thad would be the next most dangerous person. Though maybe this was a test. A handy cap if you would to see how he'd perform with a disadvantage.

Eventually, Cassie, Thad and Mochi made it to the Deck 4 crew quarters. "Alright. You're confined to quarters until the Captain has time to process this mess.. We'll take off your restraints as long as you don't do anything stupid or try to escape." Seinosuke tapped his PDA to the door, overriding its access with his officer's permissions, the entrance swishing open. "Cassie-hei, place him in and we'll get to where we're needed."

Cassie nodded, "Thad, I don't know what happened with you today but you better start doing some damage control. I mean I was mad about the relationship thing but I'll get over it. But you got to think about your career, your life. Maybe Mia is moving too fast and you got freaked out, but you can't fix stuff by avoiding it and distracting yourself with...whatever this is. You freaked out an already upset woman, and made us all worried something was gonna explode...get your shit together. We are going to need you on missions, okay?" Cassie ranted. She waited a second before she closed the cabin door to see if he had anything to say.

Thad let out a small sigh. "Your right, I have things to face. Your words lift my chin and I am happy to call you a friend. My only regret is not being able to protect anyone on this mission. So, take care of yourself. Things might just not go as planned." A smile crossed his face showing he had no hard feelings.

"Thanks Thad. I'm glad you didn't get blasted," Cassie added before giving him a wave and closing the door.

Mochi tapped the door controls once more with his PDA, before stowing the device safely away. The blonde shook his head incredulously. "I'm so glad I'm married and don't have to deal with this type of drama anymore." Now that the door was locked under his authority, it was time to get back to work. "Put this out of your mind for now and get some Power Armour on, Jôtô Hei."

BRIDGE

"Multiple unidentified contacts," Kalena told the captain as she carefully scanned the area.

"We are just a freighter passing through," Aoba said. "Let's avoid giving ourselves away too soon and just see what they do."

"Aye, sir," Gabriela and Kinie nodded.

Crew Quarters

When he thought things could not get any worse, he was proven wrong yet again. He still had not a clue why he was locked up and was just left guessing. At least they brought him back to his own room which contained his personal gear. Least if the ship was boarded he would not be defenseless. He tossed himself into the neko nest to gather his thoughts. A moment later his pet Lulu was floating over top of him. He reached out and gave it a few pets. "Don't worry, I am not going anywhere anytime soon." He said in a firm voice. "I am just being locked away to give the pirates a fighting chance." A light chuckle left his lips.

After a few moments he got back on his feet. "Guess I might as well work on some projects while I wait here. Starting to think my only fault was picking the mission over Mia. Would seem the captain is making a point to follow orders and that Mia comes first. Just hope this doesn't get someone killed in the process."

He walked over to the corner of the room and lifted a bag off the floor that was filled with random parts. What new great invention will he come up with this time!!

With Thad being led out of the Hangar, the crew left behind took his sidearm and secured it while also telling Zanven that there was a shuttle coming in and the Nodachi would need to be moved to a new dock outside. There was even a quip about his wording when this whole thing went down, he was obviously still pissed off about it but he was not here to be pissed...he was here to fly. He suited up in his flight suit that was hanging in a locker in a room adjacent, he sent a transmission to the captain apologizing for his outburst and the fac that his words may have been miscommunicated. He did not send one to any of the other crew as he did not feel it needed, and finished suiting up as his SPINE interface started the basic starting sequences of the gunship. Weapons checks, flight systems, sensor arrays, he did not yet know what was going to happen but he was not outfitted for a space walk, so he was going to be stuck in his ship for a while. Making it out to the Nodachi and climbing in the pilot seat andbuckling up after putting his helmet on. Once he was strapped in and the flight deck crew stepped away he disengaged the locks holding the ship down and engaged the hover mode before taking aim for the exit. "Alright Pidole, taking her out now. Zanven Brax, checking in, all systems green. Slow and easy just like you said" He said to himself as he was soon out of the hanger and watched the shuttle enter the hangar as he maneuvered the Nodachi to its new anchor, underneath the Resurgence.

SPACE
His sensors were active and alive as they scanned the area, yet he still just kept in contact as he maintained the same speed as the mothership. No new docking orders were given so he might be forced into play sooner than he thought. "Alright looks like we got eyes on us. Nothing seems to be happening yet though. Orders?" He asked as he continued waiting.

Armory

Sanda struggled a little getting into the Mindy but finally managed to get it on. She did a few movement exercises to get a feel for it. It was very smooth and fluid. Almost too smooth. She was so use to her Daisy. The Daisy felt like you had a power suit, like you could take on anything, laugh, then give it back double. The Mindy felt like she was naked. She pulled out her Straight silver and began running through some exercises. It started a little sloppy, but Sanda was a Ranger and could make adjustments quickly. She very soon was running through her drills with deadly speed. Satisfied with her ability to use the Mindy, if not with the Mindy itself, Sanda sheaved her blade and went to the weapon lockers.

She pulled out her plasma rifle and an Aether Beam Saber. She held them both out and got a feel for them before putting the Beam Saber back. She would stick to what she was familiar with. But the Plasma Shotgun also caught her eye. They were planning of boarding an enemy ship. Nothing was better for fighting in close quarter narrow passageways than a shotgun. The lighting tattooed Ranger racked the weapon to check that it was unloaded, safety first, then held it up and sighted along the barrel. She smiled, "Oh Si bebé. De eso estoy hablando."

Sanda looked around at the rest of the team gearing up. "What are you girls packing?" She asked. She also suddenly remembered that the Mindy didn't have a physical shield like her Daisy. She grabbed a Shield and attached it to her left forearm, along with her backup Straight silver. Her Plasma Revolver primary Straight Silver were both already swung around her waist.

"Darso is a very interesting system," Aoba observed. "It is only twelve light-years from Yamatai...formerly Qel'noran, Yamataian, Nepleslian, and twice taken by the Mishhuvurthyar...yet independent now. It is another one of those star systems many pass by but few stop to visit. As scans came back it was clear that there were newcomers in the area as well as the familiar 'Red' Nepleslians who had once been Yamatai's enemy but in a twist of fate had ended up sheltering in Yamatai after the "greens" had tried to exterminate them. Culturally Reds represented an older sect of Nepleslian society where it was survival of the fittest combined with heavy use of cloning to give a fresh start to those who didn't make it in their tough world. "This is why we are out here," Captain Aoba gestured at a volumetric display of Darso VII. "If Kuvexians or hostile forces take this system away from the people living here, then we have hostiles only a Dozen light-years from Yamatai. That is why the Star Army supporting the locals with these shipments. Set course for Darso VII so we can transfer the first cargo load."

"Aye," Navigator Gabiela Lively nodded.

"Several ships of presumably Kuvexian Origin seem interested in us," Kinie advised the captain.

Thad's Cabin

Mia messaged Thad. "Thad, do you got a moment to talk?" she asked him.

Thad's Cabin

Thad was busy working on the lighting for the room. He was trying to figure out why when the neko nest bed would turn on the lights would dim. He almost had it figured out when a voice came in over the comms. He let out a small sigh and got to his feet.

"Yes Mia, I have all the time in the world at the moment. Kind of locked in my room for unknown reason for an unknown amount of time. But enough about me, how have you been?" He asked in curious tone of voice.

While he waited for her reply he went back to work. As he had suspected, it was hard coded into the ship that when a neko nest is near, it will auto dim the lights. Interesting and explains why after this was added the lighting changed. Seems Yam has all kinds of buried secrets to uncover.

Armory
Frank moved about the room Originally he had planned to go with a assault rifle and a pistol but having saw a Aether Gatling rifle something in his head just clicked. setting the assult rifle back on the rack he would pick out the weapon system something felt right about it his memory was still fuzzy so he wouldn't know why he felt a affiliation to the heavy weapon. but he noticed something off within himself from it. His muscles would tense and expand slightly accommodating the strength needed to operate the weapon. He felt the various inner workings of his body Boom to life as his eyes hidden behind the visor of the Mindy helmet glew a shade of red.

"Death to all that oppose me." Frank said lowley as he hefted the weapon up. not realising why he said something like that. and ended up shaking his head. looking over to
Sanda "well this Mindy isnt all that study in my opinion compaired to the daisy but i figured go big or go home right." he said holding the monster of a weapon. he also had a forarm pulse cannon attached to himself. For a infantry man Frank was definatly a force of nature so having a equal force of nature as a weapon only felt fitting.

Delmira looked over at Sanda to see what the Ranger was taking. The neko only really ever fought either in open space or on the ground outside of her armor so she looked to see what the others took for the mission. Demira took a Aether beam saber-rifle and a light service rifle before she turned to face the others. "This is my first boarding mission any suggestions on gear?" She said attaching the gunblade and rifle to her armors magnetic clamps. She looked at the sniper rifle she just had before looking back to the others.

Koyama had been about her duties, keeping herself apprised with engineering's status. Wondering how to deal with Thad and the situation that had erupted. But now with Kinie's warning, and Aoba's declaration, the woman took the data they had on these 'possible' Kuvexians and began to run whatever information through the MEGAMI. Checking drive signatures, silhouettes trying to pick apart what she could base on what they had.

"I am trying to pin down and confirm their origin and what their classification are based on the data we have. Without a more thorough active scan..." she shook her head, "It will only be guesswork for the time being until we gather more information, Shosa."

Thad's Cabin

Mia wiped her eyes and talked to Thad through a volumetric window. "I am sorry, I just really need to know what to do. I was talking to Poppy about what to do if we don't want to keep the baby and we want to just try to go back to the way it was. But it seems cruel knowing that this could be a life and I don't want to just throw it away. I asked if there was some sort of way we could put the baby in statis or on pause somehow while we figure it out. The thing is I don't want to be a single mom, that just sounds so hard and I don't know how I could work and do it at the same time. I know we were just friends with benefits but not we have something more to think of than ourselves," she told him.

Thad's Cabin

He got to his feet as she finished and looked to the screen. He ran his hand through his hair slowly. "Mia, it is natural for a first reaction to go back to how things use to be. Sadly one can not turn back the hands of time. However the future is unwritten and we can shape it however we see fit." His hand dropped out of his hair and landed on his side. A smile beamed across his face. "The good news, you won't be a single mother, I will be there for you as will all the crew on this ship. We stick together during uncertain times."

His eyes pulled away from the screen and looked around the room. "Aye, we do have more to think of than ourselves. Like how am I expected to take care of Mia while I am locked in my room. Granted if I felt for a moment you was in danger, take more than a door to stop my exit." His eyes looked back up to the screen. "I guess one perk of this is that I am not being sent out to fight in a proxy war of our own design. I am not sure if the captain thought this would be a punishment or if he was in his own way doing this for my benefit. Granted I hope this is only temporary, I do not wish to care for my Mia through a looking window, caged like some animal."

Frank was about to leave the armory after getting everything he needed before stopping briefly to Delmira and Sanda. "How would you two like to make this interesting. 100ks says i can kill more pirates than you two I'm interested to see how my fellow infantry team members can stack up." Leaving the challenge in the air for some time weather he got responses or not He would move to leave the armory. Resting the Aether Gatling Rifle over one shoulder he would begin making his way his post.
