Bemused by Setsuko's antics, Ryoko adapted her inertial field, pushing back against the medic's heft. It had been several hours since her chest had last been touched and she was in a playful mood...

"Setsuko-ko, if you had wanted to play with my chest, you could have just asked. I mean we could have gone to my quarters and been much more comfortable. Although i must admit, I did not peg you as the adventurous type to want both me and Haruto at the same time..." Ryoko used her most petulant tone and pitched the volume so it would carry to several of the other crewmembers and sprites present.

Having had her fun, she dropped her resistance against Setsuko and allowed herself to be pushed into the examination room.

Meanwhile, the lift doors swung open and Akina shifted out after glancing at Honoka with amusement. "No, that's a definite rule now." She laughed, and led them to the doors of her quarters. They slid open, and the redhead stepped inside into the vast expanse. "Do you like it?" The woman asked, moving straight for more tea, being wary of the alcohol. The small chair and table where her violin were set out rested near the fountain, a short distance away from the main sitting area with sofas, and the small finger foods as well as wine. They seemed mostly to be fruit, and little desserts at first glance. The Taisho slipped onto a sofa appearing very used to the quarters, whose staircase climbed up the decks in another touch of extravagance.

"It's five decks, including a bath house in case you were wondering." The woman sat back with a fresh cup, and glanced over to the fountain. Would she play before, or after they left?

While the Nadare's crew were spread between the Medical Lab, where Setsuko was preparing to "examine" Haruto and Ryoko, and the Taisho's living quarters, a shuttle was speeding towards the larger vessle, carrying an Engineer, formerly of the 5th Expeditionary Fleet.

Yawning slightly as the shuttle docked with the YSS Nadare, Jessica stepped out of the shuttle as she thanked the pilot for the trip. Streching happily, the golden-haired Neko looked around the ship with a critical eye, studying the workmanship and craftmanship with which it had been created to see in what state it would be in when she would run the mechanical buisness on the ship.

But as she walked out of the hangar and into the ship's hallways, making note of the odd interior decorations, the Itto Hei sent a telepathic message to the ships MEGAMI, to inform it and Shimizu-Taisho that she had arrived, as per orders, to meet with the commanding officer.

"Mmm..we have one more guest tonight." Akina announced, sending instructions to the Nadare.

A volumetric projection blipped up in Jessica's personal space, flashing a message from the KAMI. It read:

Welcome to the YSS Nadare, Shimizu Taisho has requested your presence in her quarters. Proceed directly there, by following the arrows I make for you. If you have more questions please tell me. Good night.

True to her word, the KAMI's projections made a path down the corridor to the nearest lift.

Smiling at Kami's holographic projection, Jessica nodded her thanks and began walking down the ship's hallways, again wondering at the odd interior design while she scratched her slightly odd (by NH-29 standards) ears.

As she reached Shimizu-Taisho's quarters, Jessica stopped and adjusted her standard female jumpsuit, knocked twice on the door, before entering. At the sight of three other Nekovalkyrja there, the Itto Hei promptly bowed respectfully to what she assumed were all her superior officers.

"Itto Hei, Aoyama Jessica, reporting as ordered, Shimizu-Taisho!" As she spoke, it was clear that her family name was spoken with disgust as she stood simply, resting her hand on the tool-belt that was tight around her waist, and carried several tools for varying tasks and sizes.

"You're here, good. Be at ease...come pour yourself a wine." Akina pointed towards the bottle which Faye and Honoka had yet to touch. "Before the memorial tomorrow morning make sure to find Mishima-hei for your arrival physical. Welcome to the Nadare, Jessica-san. I am glad you're enthusiastic." Instead of starting to play, she sat down on the sofa, and waited for the new arrival to come sit along with the other members of her staff who had come by.

"Tell me, what do you think about development projects?"

"Yes, Taisho." The mechanic said simply as she moved towards the couch the CO had indicated as she glanced towards Faye and Honoka as she took a wine glass, and poured herself one as she nodded in thanks towards Akina in thanks. It was an insult at the least not to touch offered drink.

"And well, I haven't been on a ship for ages, Taisho-sama, and I live to be a mechanic. If I can't hear the hum of an engine, or feel a ship vibrate with life around me, I don't feel alive." Jessica explained as she took a sip of the wine, savouring the excellent taste of the CO, while she smiled over at the other woman, finding it odd that nobody had commented on her ears as of yet.

"Development projects? Well, that depends on what kind of development projects you're talking about, Taisho-sama. In any case, I like designing and constructing new things, both weaponry, vehicles, systems, ships..." Shrugging, the engineer took another sip as she continued to watch her new CO, wondering what her reply would be, and why she posed such a question.

Mostly due to the alcohol she'd already consumed, Honoka didn't want to touch the wine. She being defiant to the new 'rule' of making her drink as she was still pouting. Although she relented a bit to smile and wave to the newcomer.

The aide had already been in the Taisho's quarters before so this wasn't anything particularly new. Though she noticed more details this time rather than larger ideas throughout the room. It still was a beautiful room.

Faye didn't care too much for wine, like most other such beverages, so she declined the Taisho's generous offer. She did, however, greet Jessica with a polite bow. "Welcome to the Fourth Fleet. I hope that you enjoy your stay with us," she said in a rather quiet tone. The aide was her usual friendly, yet unsocial, attitude.

"Good. Your first project will be making notes on something I've been working on ahead of the station and the two new military ships I am designing: a construction power armor. Just something light for SASI's first line. Shimizu Advanced Space Industries, in case none of you remember. Please, sit you two..and at least one of you is having a drink." The Taisho insisted, finding herself more comfortable, and warm as she lounged in her seat.

"If you do well I'll offer you a job, too. Maybe more..the same goes for you two, as well." Shimizu promised while she gave the odd-eared but none the less very attractive grease-jockey something like a scan with her eyes. "Mnn..you see we're going to offer more than just a few ships, and I need bright minds to supplement my own projects. The Chiharu are getting old, and the Takumi isn't what I need here so we'll be going in a new direction. Faye? Faye-san, come sit down." She patted the spot next to her. "The rest of the staff is going through some last minute things. Appraise yourself of our schedule as soon as you can, you are now authorized Jessica-san."

As Akina mentioned her being involved in the construction of new ships, Power Armours, and more, Jessica's eyes shone with what could only be described as a hungry look while she nodded raptly while she unconciously moved the fingertips of both her hands against each other.

"Thank you, Shimizu-Taisho. I'm looking forward to it. And a construction PA? What'd you got in mind?" Catching herself, and calming her hands by grasping the wine glass again, to take another small sip, Jessica glanced over at the CO, and apparently the CEO of the new company the Taisho was in the process of creating.

"And also, you might want to consider making more than one model of this construction PA, Taisho. After all, not all construction is the same. Making a small fighter is different from creating a colony, or a gargantuan space ship." Jessica explained as she placed the wine back on the table, having had enough of the sweet alcohol for now. Jessica was more a beer person, and while she enjoyed a spot of wine occasionally, she didn't think much of the sweet liquid.

Faye quietly took a seat next to Akina. "Are you in need of anything, Mistress-Taisho?" she asked delicately, a little worried for her pregnant commander. The aide wanted to be of some use, and just sitting here was getting her a little fidgety.

"No, just enjoy yourself Faye-san." Akina told the nervous NH-27 with a faint smile to reassure her. "While that's true, we have to start somewhere and right now I'm concerned with major section assembly and construction. I'd like to include construction drones with the design, possibly both to include a controlled nano-constructor release. More finite work will be included but an internal system will be easier. That reminds me I need a mining platform. Asteroids, planetoids, planets. Something versatile. There are a few different things...and that is only on the space end. Anyway enough about business, unless you have some questions?" The Taisho asked Jessica.

Light music began to play in the quarters to fill in the space between the conversation, just a light violin concerto that Akina picked out of her entertaining play list and filtered through the quarters. "I could use a bath, but maybe you all don't want to see my impression of a large sea creature." The woman laughed softly at herself.

Faye smiled at Akina's joke, but replied, "Oh, I would like a bath, too, and I don't really mind. You are bringing a new life into this universe! That alone is a major accomplishment in my book." She closed her eyes in the smile.

Shaking her head in the negative, Jessica smiled over at Akina and Faye where they sat, while she unconciously flicked her finger tips against her odd ears while she relaxed in the couch.

"Meh, I've seen people bigger than you trying to do what's called 'swimming', and managing somewhat successfully. But I think I'd rather go get me something to eat... haven't had a bite to eat for hours..." The gearhead asked while she streched slightly and grinned at the other women gathered in the room. It was no secret, Jessica loved pizza almost as much as she loved fiddling with a new and unknown engine.

"Huh?" Was Setsuko's only reply to her vaguely "naughty" question as she continued to push and pull her two patients towards the same examination room where she had examined both Faye and Akina, and done Faye's Soul Transfer.

"Ookay, Ryo-ko-ko-chan! Roll up your sleeves for blood sampling! You too, Haru-Haru-kun!" The runty medical officer commanded as she bent over a large tray of medical supplies and tools, and picked up two hypodermic syringes, ready to draw blood from both, before she'd scan and analyze the blood, and then do a physical check-up. Of course, she'd do more than your basic scans, but neither of them needed to know that little detail!

Haruto concealed a smirk as he was shoved into the medical bay. "Off course," he said, his smirk quickly vanishing as he saw the needle. He looked resolutely at the other end of the room as he rolled up his sleeve, exposing his well-muscled and toned arm.

Honoka couldn't help but giggle at Akina's joke, but it wasn't too long before she caught herself, hmphed and went back to pouting. Her semi-drunken attention span for defiance was beginning to wane though.

The aide rocked slightly back and forth to the music, trying to keep in time.

"I heard that Hakumei-Juni." Akina smiled as she pushed herself up. "Faye-san make sure she gets up those stairs and into the bath house..." The Taisho motioned at Jessica. "I'm sure the galley will do us the favour of delivering her something." Without any more pomp the woman stepped towards the stairs and began to climb it with a quite sense of overall amusement at the situation for some reason, she was about to laugh when she almost tripped over her own feet. "A-..." And on up into the bath house she went, moving to the private nook her bath things were in.

The redhead started humming to herself, getting out of her uniform bottom to top with a bit of maneuvering. She was about halfway undressed in no time, taking deep breaths of that scent only a large amount of therapeutic water would give off. Thank gods, I need this.

Grinning as she rose from the couch, Jessica couldn't supress her delight at the thought of pizza and a bath at the same time while she followed behind the CO at a leisurely pace while she tugged at the top of her uniform. It was a wee bit too tight for her tastes.

"Just gotta hand it to ya, Taisho. Ya sure got an eye for classy stuff." Jessica said, her normal accent-less "work-talk" dissapearing to make way for her more relaxed and off-duty manner while she looked around the bath house and relaxed against a wall, unsure of just how "chummy" Akina wanted her to be around her CO and the two aides.

Muttering something under her breath that sounded remarkably like a petulant whine of 'your no fun!', Ryoko followed Setsuko's instructions, slowly rolling her left sleeve up. It would have been much easier to have just asked her to take her top off. Or maybe she was afraid that Ryoko would start flirting with her again if she did so...

Ryoko repressed a giggle as she waited for Setsuko to take her sample.
