"Grab one from the emergency kit at the tac station. Kirio, find the doc, sweep the ship and find out if anyone's missing."

It was hard work being a privateer. Terry couldn't afford to keep rebuilding his ship like this, and decided that as soon as they got the chance he'd have the shipyard refit the Osiris completely.

That and remember to raise shields before attacking.

"Aye Sir!" Lucien quickly ran to the emergency station, dodging a few flames as he went by. He managed to find a locker with the needed emergency gear inside. Luicen helped himself to a fire extinguisher and a pair of goggles, putting his sunglasses away and putting the goggles on.

He quickly dashed back to one of the fires nearby, aiming the extinguisher at the base of the fire.
"God almighty, them tentacle beasts don't stop, do they?"

The ship lurched as a shorted control surface shot ionized gas out into space, sending the Osiris heeling about slowly but noticeably. Power was erratic throughout the corvette, wreaking havoc with steering, shield power, even computer systems. The hatchways to the areas open to space were hardsealed, but at least those areas weren't on fire.

Seeing as how they couldn't jump and with no way of determining where they were, Terry saw he had no choice but to call the shipyard and have a barge pick the Osiris up and tow it to port.
