YSS Yorokobi
Bridge

The Yui 7 from which Saiga-chusa commanded SAINT's task group shuddered and heaved under the hail of concentrated Kuvexian fire coming its way. Purple volleys pocked the Yorokobi's abyssal hull as the ship forced its way through a defensive screen. A singular vessel within the Interstellar Kingdom's fleet lay behind this picket: a cruiser levied to the Royal Exchequer, mundane among Kuvexian warships in all ways except its crew and their duties.

With SAINT's formation scattered across the battlefield by now — what ships remained mostly providing electronic warfare support to mitigate the hacking attack — the Chusa had gathered a handful of operatives and power armored analysts aboard the Yorokobi for a vital mission. They would infiltrate the cruiser and attempt to cancel payments made to Kuvexia's mercenary allies.

"Push through!" Saiga roared into his armor's helmet, sure that Kiriko wasn't listening as she fought to keep their course true. Their target cruiser grew larger on the bridge's volumetric screen, wreathed in the flaming wreckage, violet weapons fire, and those dozen-or-so golden escorts tasked with protecting it. "Yeah! Get at it!"

It was clear that the Yorokobi would make it to its target. Making it any further than that, though, was definitely out of the question.

"Brace!" Kiriko announced briskly from her place at the scout ship's helm, comfortably secure in her Mindy 4. Most of her control capability was shot, and the ship drifted sideways within its forward momentum as it approached the Exchequer's cruiser at speed.

When the Yorokobi made contact with the enemy's gilded hull its stern had kicked almost fully around, tearing into golden hull plates like a fiery black comet. Within, Saiga was thrown clear across the bridge while power conduits erupted in sparky overloads that lit the dark space in a teal-white flash. His operatives in the armor bay fared little better. Kiriko, for her part, stayed put well enough through the violent tumbling her trusty steed endured. Eventually the scout ship came to a stop, its sharp zesuaium prow pointing defiantly out through space toward Nataria itself, punctuating a great, dark scar torn across the Kuvexian vessel.

"C h u u u s a ?" Saiga heard somebody ask, her familiar voice echoing from some far-off place. "C h u s a?" came the voice again, and now he recognized it as Akechi Kiriko-juni's. "Stop snoozing! Chusa!"

No more than a few seconds could have passed since they'd landed.

"They're gonna catch on pretty soon!" Kiriko insisted, always the pessimist, as Saiga swam in his own head for a moment. This whole plan was riding on the hope that the Kuvexians would assume their crash was little more than a kamikaze attack akin to the ones they employed, which would give the Yamataians a huge element of surprise. But if it did not work, the SAINT operatives aboard their ruined Yui 7 would need to get out and get fighting with haste.

The Chusa pushed himself up on his elbows with a groan and let his Mindy's control systems do the rest to stabilize him in zero-G.

"You probably made, what, a hundred meters of entryway for us?" Saiga asked with a tired grin on his voice. "Hard part's already over, Kiri-chan. Let's get the others and go."

The battle was getting heavier as the troops were pouring down from the skies, the blazes of fire and shots were lighting the skies up. If it was not lethal, one could say it was a fine firework show. But Dalida knew better and shrugs at the amount of damage that these Kuvexian minions were doing to the fort, she hated to admit to the obvious but they had to sacrifice some guns to safe harbor the barriers and protect everyone that was in the fort. Hearing another explosion made her Mindy look into the direction "Tssk..." She lets out seeing another gun blown to parts and beyond repair "This is Strike Team Engineers 404, regroup, defenses are required" Dalida looked over her shoulder and then pushed her off the wall rushing back to the rally point.

Blasts here and there, fires everywhere and people fighting for their lives. Back on her farm, she would be shocked to see things like this happen, but after Kaiyo, after everything she had seen so far, she was less...scared. Sliding through the streets and holding her rifle up, Dalida could see her fellow team members in danger and slammed with the back of her rifle into a Rixx face as the poor creature bounces twice over the street and against the wall. Quickly she repositions herself and shots a few times as another Rixx head flew through the area. Looking at her side seeing a few and then looked at Mikael "Everything good here?"

Chui Matsuda

The field hospital had turned quickly in a full-fledge operational hospital that really needed more personal with medical experience. Erina was already forced to back the automatic medical devices up with various critical surgeries that were needed and couldn't wait any longer. The situation was getting grim and while Erina knew that there was the soul-transfer system that could easily get people back, the fight for Nataria kept going and they needed every soldier out there. The area began to shake as explosions were getting close, Erina looked at the ceiling seeing the lights flicker "Fuck..."

As if she was predicting it, the next blow broke a part of the ceiling that slammed down onto some wounded soldiers. Erina looked into the direction "Get them out of there and into cover, we have incoming! Defensive formation..." Erina barked out the orders as those that could fight grabbed their weapons and Erina grabbed one weapon as well seeing Rixx appear "Open fire! Defend your fellow Yamatai citizen!" The cheer went loud out as everyone opened fire taking the first waves of Rixx down "We will hold the line here, take the wounded and relocate them to the second hospital camp, tell them of the situation go" Erina orders a soldier that nodded and moved. Yamatai soldiers and citizens get to the transporter platform to get transported to the second location "This will take some time...' Erina mutters.

Jôtô Hei Nishizaki

Blinking as she saw the bodies of Rixx laying on the floor, Looking at Eve "Could you not leave some for me to shoot down?" She teases as Yoko held her rifle up and moved forward to scan the area "It seems clears, let's move forward and give Eve some more things to blow up" Without a second thought about it, she noticed a Rixx that wanted to surprise her, she lets him grab her rifle as she twists around and grabs her knife only to pierce it into the bug spine and cutting it open from the back. She grabs the rifle back as the lifeless body drops lifeless onto the ground "AMBUSH!" She yelled as more Rixx appeared.

Rear Admiral Glover

Hearing the response from his fellow navy admiral made him roll his eyes, maybe she had another problem of the month or something. He rubbed his face to shake it off and looked through his fingers towards the screen seeing that the Kuvexians were more savage then he had presumed. He lowered his hand and kept his cool hearing one of his bridge officers speak "Sir the Kuvexians are pushing our fighters back, we can't get our Bisons through this way" Gustav smirks a bit "There is always a way my good fellow, the Nepleslia way!" He bold his fist and holds it in front of him "Assigned cruisers to cover the tracks of our Bisons and push the frigates forward, defensive course, and keep watch on giving support to our people and allies!"

YSS Eucharis
Nataria Space

The battered, smoking form of the YSS Eucharis smashed through a cluster of space debris as it avoided the remaining Kuvexian mercenaries trying to tail her.

"Head towards the planet at the top available speed you can make while being unpredictable for firing solutions. Use Yaichiro's blink tactics," Hanako ordered Blackberry. She trusted the highly-experienced mulberry-skinned neko with her life. "I am going to see what I can do about this communication situation."

"Yes, captain," Blackberry nodded.

After a few moments, Star Army communications were starting to come back online, as PANTHEON AIs, Kessaku Anri, and Hanako undid the damage that the Kuvexian Empire's finest hackers had done. "All units this is Eucharis Actual. I am still here! You are doing great, keep up the defense. Show no mercy," she sent.

As data streams came back online Hanako could see the battle was horribly savage. Only a quarter of the ships that had entered the battle were still combat-capable. The rest were destroyed or so damaged they couldn't fight anymore. Even the Eucharis was only still running because of the hard work of Cherry and Becker making quick emergency repairs. But the battle was actually starting to turn in Yamatai's favor. The super-dreadnaughts Yamatai had brought to the fight were really hammering the Kuvexian Fleets which had nothing of that size to counter them. The Kuvexian mercenaries, however, were making a lot of progress which was spoiling this advantage through sheer numbers. Without them, the KIN would probably be retreating about now to regroup.

The Kuvexian commander, Lord Admiral Bustenas Vlon Spaarksnuffer, Greater Baron of Roanellar and the Swooeo Expanse, scowled. He was no longer sipping his tea but instead pacing the bridge of his flagship in frustration while his slave-women watched with worried expressions.

"Mee lord," his twenty-eyed translucent purple hunchback advisor said, "Dy eneemy ships destroyed arr increased to seeveenty-five perceent," he hissed in his strange accent.

"I think our job is mostly done here. It is ridiculous that we have to sacrifice so many ships in one battle. Even if we immediately restored all the crews from backups it will take a long time to rebuild these fleets. If we had..."

An explosion rocked the ship under Spaarksnuffer.

"In any case...we need to pull off this win. Have some ships crash into those Yamataian dreadnaughts if they must. I want the Star Army crippled after this battle. If there's no Star Army ships their empire will be consumed by our pirates and mercenaries. And where are those damned reinforcements?"

OOC: "In the end it's not the words that are said, or even the names of the untold dead. It's the deeds and the ripples in the worlds waters that these beings left. I hope that here at Nataria the untold millions who perish will ripple out into the universe with our fight and sparks the hope of generations." - Unknown Star Army Commander at the battle of Nataria.

Dual for Life.

" Would you assholes take a hint and frak off!" Russ vented in frustration. He was piloting his Hayabusa II in the utter hellstorm that was the airbattle. Barely dodging incoming craft at high speeds it was like the galaxies most insane roller coaster. Every twist and turn left a stomach turning hurch as the G's kicked into his suit. It would be almost fun if it wasn't for the two bogies on his tail trying to kill him.

He knew he had to turn the odds some how and he had a plan. As he saw a bulk freighter with its landing gear out he had a idea. Cursing him self as he started to gun it towards the transport "Oh yeah this is such a smart idea, lets just do there work for them right Russ?". Leveling out his craft he felt more damage to his frame but it didn't matter he needed the speed. Warning Klaxons wailed there frustration at the pilot "I get it darlin but please shut up for a minute".

Killing his engines for a moment he then activated the fighters beam projector. Locking onto the landing gear he pulled the nose towards it. Hoping to slingshot around he quickly turned on the afterburners. As he lurched further into his seat, vision slowly became blurred as blackness pulled at his sight. He could hear the metal strain and buckle as part of the fighter literally torn it self apart. He wondered then if he really was going to die.

Though as quickly as it started he saw it worked. Now pointing direct at the kuvvies who use to be on his six he couldn't help but laugh. Setting him self on a collision course he started to open up with his guns. Never in his life was he more happy to see two wonderful explosions. As he tried to avoid the debris cloud he let out a simple cry of victory "should have taken the hint !" .

Before he could even breath he got on his comms a urgent request "This is Santo Hei Nabeel, lock onto my transponder for fire mission Alpha target identified. Happy hunting". As his craft still screamed at him he knew he had a final target today. As he tried he to make his way there he hoped he would be able to bag another bogey before his craft finally caved in.

Santô Hei Eric Nabeel
Mixed Infantry, Ranger Force Retribution.
Prove Myself

Eric was slowly making his way through the hall way. Leaning against the wall he was starting to wonder if his was plan was a bust. Already the whole thing was a blur of combat entering the drop ship. Blood and screams, with a ruination that followed behind him.A battle haze of fury and hatred going from combat to combat then to this eerie silence and the ships hum. He wondered if the enemy lurked around different corridors like vultures waiting for there prey to die.

He wouldn't have to wait long as he peered around the next corridor. Seeing a host of Rixxikor marching down towards him Eric could only smile. Instead of using his trusty blade or wrist cannon he instead opted something abit more loud. Aiming his last missile down the hull he heard the satisfying woosh as the missile left it's tube. If only he could feel the heat as the explosion rippled and buckled the metal, the humanoid shapes disappearing in a black fog and paste mist. As if the ship trying to prevent more harm down that way a blast shield dropped and prevented a further viewing of the carnage the missile wrought.

Content as he limped along he was happy to have a quick end to that. Walking down the corridor he saw a sign his mindies visor quickly translated for him. Talking aloud to no one "Ah so I was right this is the way to heart of engineering". His heart beat faster in excitement that his journey was almost at the end. Making his way to large bulky doors he wondered if he would have to use one of his charges to breach. Trying the keypad he was surprised to see the door opened with no fan fair.

Shield raised and wrist cannon out he bolted in. As he swept with his arm left to right scanning for any hostiles he was puzzled why no one was here. Was it automated or had he drawn more of the crew then he thought else where in the ship. In the end it didn't matter as the goal was in reach. Stepping up towards the reactor core he placed his shield down on the ground. Taking out his final charges he placed them quickly onto the core while setting the timer. Setting it just long enough for him to attempt a escape but not enough time to defuse both. Thinking he might some how still make it he was surprised when he heard a voice behind him.

Speaking with the air of aristocrat that he spent a life time hating "So this is our stowaway my men couldn't kill". Turning around to see what had found him, he was greeted by a large golden armour. Armed with a spear so favored by the enemy he could tell by the jewels and markings that this wasn't just some common foot solider. As if knowing the rangers thoughts "I'm the commander of the ship and I thought you'd help me warm up before land on the planet". Adding in a almost playful tone "So would you be so kind Yamataian to draw your blade".

Knowing his only chance was to go through the ships commander he drew his remaining Xiphos. The short blade though gave him a major disadvantage in reach against the spear. Though he only had one way and that was forward. Pulling the blade in tight he started to run hoping to close the distance before the commander could react. As he got last step and tried to lurge into a stab, the commander in a surprising feat of speed spun the spear and deflected the blade. Then his foe quickly kicked in pushing back Eric and leaving him off balance.

Muttering its amusement "Oh thought you could take me quick, should know i've trained since birth with this spear". As he tried to regain his footing the commander spun the spear above him before taking the flat end into a sweep towards Eric's head. Rolling to the side he narrowly dodge the spear. Attempting to follow up his roll went for a vertical cut with his blade hoping to at least take out a knee.

It was to no avail as the golden plated warrior took a step back dodging the blade. It was then in another quick motion that he steeped forward into a quick spear thrust. Unable to react in time he could only feel the body shaking pain as the spear torn into left arm and pinned him to the wall. As eric screamed out in pain the commander spoke "Oh jeez what a pity a few quick parlay of the blades and I've already beat you". Eric struggled with his free hand to try and pull the spear but the opposing force was too great and he was pinned in agony. Feeling the hopelessness of the struggle he stopped and instead just looked at his opponent.

Watching the commander tilt his head in a inquisitive look it called out to him "Oh given up already, are you Yamatai so broken you wish for death?". As the commander ripped the spear from Eric for the second time today he felt unspeakable pain. The golden figure though laughed as it saw the ranger swirled in pain before going on "Well then let me grant it to you today". It was then Eric's hud flashed a indicator he thought he wouldn't see. As the commander went in for the kill stroke in a thunder clap the mindy disappeared.

Before the golden figure could let out a gasp of surprise he felt his own pain in his stomach. Looking down he saw his own blood and a blade point spearing through him. Then a voice spoke to the figure as he faded "You talk too much, just kill and be done with it". Then in a instant Eric ripped the blade from the commanders stomach and dropped to the floor.

In the last moment his teleporter had just enough a charge to give him the killing blow. As he collapsed to the ground he felt a coldness and a tiredness in his body. As he closed his eyes no longer caring of escape he wondered if Auntie Sarah would be proud of him. He really hoped on the other side she would tell him.

As the orphaned solider slide into death, the timer of his charges clicked to zero. In a funeral pyre that would mark the passing of the solider it would rapidly start to rip through the ship. A untold amount of souls would follow him into the afterlife. This was the end of of Eric Nabeel, his soul transfer lost like many other sons and daughters of the empire this day. The only witness would be a lone pilot and even then his deeds would be unrecorded.

Fort Ready, G/75 Combat Outpost

Eve's aim is right on the money. One moment a proud Kuvexian is waiting for his shields to re-establish themselves by using Rixxikor as body shields. The next there is half of a Kuvexian. Better luck next time. But despite that, the Rixxikor were still relentless as they rained down on the fire-team sized element that got ahead of themselves.

"That's my kill you egg eater!!" one of the Rixxikor screamed out as Itto Hei Irim Okada of Squad A2 was overwhelmed. Her body danced around as it took the brunt of the volume of firepower before falling. A few made obscene gestures with their hands and tongue in celebration before resuming the attack.

"Fall back Nishizaki-hei!" Taii Munemitsu's came from behind as he rushed forward towards the group of would-be heroes and pushed her backward as the Rixxikor started to focus on him. Looking at them briefly as he fires using the sight of his weapon, he used his Mindy's teleportation module to do jump into an opening behind them. The resulting shockwave of the maneuver at both points blinded and flashed burned Rixxikor that were the nearest. Even ones not close enough to be burned were still blinded, starting to shoot wildly as they just were not smart enough. Munemitsu left them alone to cause further chaos, focusing on those still combat effective.

Munemitsu's Requiem
15secs

The countdown to a full charge of the P3802 begun, he just needed to survive long enough to get himself out of this situation. Sure he could have run the risk of all of them dying, but that would have looked bad on his record. They were headstrong children, but they were the future.

10 seconds

These Rixxikor were truly endless. It felt like for each one he and the covering firing he was getting as he kept the focus on himself killed, 3 more stepped in to replace it. Some scientists really needed to come up with a way to genetically alter this species for everyone's good.

5 seconds

"Kitsune Actual, this is Kitsune Overwatch. Negative on the fire mission, but the enemy commander's location located. Relaying coordinates to intel, designating Objective Red. OP Alpha is compromised, moving to OP Delta."

"Understood, report when safe." Munemitsu replied as he dropped kicked a Rixxikor dumb enough to try to knife him. "Attention all Kitsune elements, prepare for a strike mission. Squads A1 and A3, jump to coordinates of Objective Red on mark. A2, provide protection to designated marksmen."

0 seconds

"Mark ugh!" Munemitsu said as he got the ping that he was ready to greet the Kuvexian commander personally with the others. Just as the jump initiated, he is gunned down the crossfire of two heavy infantry. Interrupted and the module destroyed, he simply fell to his knees as his Mindy desperately attempted to stabilize him, blood spilling out from the holes the aether chain guns had created. He just looked at the pair of bruisers gasping for breath as they walk up to him. Gunning down any Rixxikor that didn't follow their orders and steal their "earned" glory.

"Get to the shuttle. I'll stay behind to cover you with the ship weaponry" Egwene told the group. There was some arguing and contestation, considering she was just a third party technician. But, she was a third party technician currently jacked into a Dreadnought and raking dozens of ships in the immediate vicinity with a broadside of incredible potency. One ship, even one Dreadnought, wasn't going to turn the tide at all, but it was making a neat little hole in the formation around the Dreadnought.

Eventually the rest of them were convinced that it was a good idea to jump ship while there was still a ship to jump. Fortunate, really, because the overtaxed shield system went down and the ship was being blasted at a hull level. Not a good thing, but Egwene still had some time to pull tricks about the place. Scanning the shuttle making it's escape, she waited till it was out of the way and then set the guns to overload and fried the computer system entirely. Ship was now just a floating hunk of metal with a few moments of incredible firepower before going silent and helpless.

With everything done, Egwene pulled out her connection and fled the ship through a nearby hole that had been blasted in the hull. Her suit was designed for dogfighting and manoeuvring after all, so she managed to make good on the escape from the dreadnought. Not so good on the not getting hit, because despite her best efforts the space was a cacophony of shit and she got blindsided by a floating hunk of ex-ship as she was descending to the planet. It was a long descent, and she'd probably be able to recover before hitting the ground, but right now she was just spinning and trying to do exactly that as she plummeted towards the ground...

All the planning, the time spent on the feint cloistered away going over every encounter of relevance to inflict the biggest wound on the enemy was ripping the sky open over the gem of Nataria. How many days had she worked herself and her staff to exhaustion to get to where they were? To even be on even footing was enough, there had been dire battles like this before but she had no intention of giving even a centimeter this time, the things that tore her from nightmares were back out in the void, waiting for death.

“Taisho Shimizu, communications restored!” Her communications officer announced with relief in her voice. All of the crew on her bridge wore a suit, or power armor, depending on their station. The chance of a boarding even on the immense vessel was not

“Bring our element to engagement point Alfa.” Ordered the red-haired veteran of many fleet engagements. An arm of the remaining Zero Fleet led by her Izanagi and a sister ship began to break from an intentionally weakened center as her flanks spread out, which took an intense hammering that had been one of the biggest gambles until the outside help arrived.

The remaining reserves, and anyone that returned to her ships or the massive Logi were sent out to close the trap, in the horrible melee that was playing out before them she was computing order after order to the vessels slugging it out with their arrogant combatants, and that was part of what was supposed to help, Yamatai would not underestimate them.

Eucharis-actual this is Logi-actual: Well done, our section can keep on top of the comm hacks from here if you’d like. I will see their arrogance is rewarded otherwise.” She promised.

“XO, make a secure layer for allied ships in the command net and patch them in to a combined fleet net, I want everything coordinated as best we can make it. Spread it around the remaining cap ships in case we are downed.” Shimizu ordered the pale, frosty-skinned woman next to her.

It only helped that direct commands could be send to squadrons of ships to lure Kuvs’ in to overextend themselves more thinking there were still some ships with commas trouble to get some extra kills.

“To all vessels in the combined fleet: this is Logi-actual, Shimizu Taisho. We are honored to stand with you. Joint systems are available. Logi out.”

“Do not let your fury subside, the fallen rise up with you!” The carnage could claim her, but she knew if she died there was enough fight in everyone left defending their home to carry their hot wrath across the heavens.

“Shit, roll to port, two and three starburst by this mark and hit the ships I painted.” The Chusa cried out over the sound of her ship taking the strongest hit yet after they managed to avoid having the Plumeria leading her squadron of three make the incoming blast hit a chunk of armor from a destroyed Sharie but then that hulk impact the hull during the close shave.

“Charlie, screen anything that peels off what we’re about to light up.” The concentrated burst of fire from all three ships in her temporary squadron shuddered into a Kuvexian vessel, they were at the point in the fur ball closest to the planet, trying to thin any pods, landing or otherwise that could hit atmosphere and make it to the ground intact, which meant getting any ship that presented a target.

“Star three pylon damage, still assessing!” A grey-paneled Elysian called.

“Helm track where it came from put us in between main is up fire free fire free.” She sucked a breath in and looked to her XO, erasing the look on her face that betrayed the fact she had no high hopes of surviving this one. Well, there was a backup on Yamatai.

“The program agrees with our assessment, this one.” The outline of one of the multitudes of Kuvvie ships in the fight was highlighted and all tactical read outs available were brought for the Chusa and her team. “Take us out then we’ll do what we can.” The piece of wreckage of one of the enormous and semi-active pieces of Kuvexian ships that the Plumeria was attached to had been floating towards the main host with to help trick their censors had paid off, but Kurusu had grown restless watching the battle unfold as it had since she had arrived with her fire team.

The Chusa was ready, and though it was twice the size of a normal team, it meant, she had hoped as well as command, that they could punch deeper into a ship in the middle of a fight, punch out the command crew, and be gone before they were swarmed, leaving enough charges to cripple or destroy the ship in their wake. The ideal was to take out high command but that was up to the program they were given parsing out their final target guessing which ship might have the highest level enemy brass on board.

Once they were close enough, the stealth shuttle holding her team was shunted from the bay disguised as depressurization from the wreck and it tumbled through fire and pinged into debris as the hull stained all the way until they were attached to the hull of the vessel like an eel.

Using hand signals, they deployed around their breech point at a weak point that took fire as the engineer set her initial charge, and the group of mindy armors readied to go.

Execute

As near to the command deck as they could make it, the hull shuddered and cracked like a great crab being broken as launches from the pods of the team came before the team to clear the way, then the soldiers themselves. The Chusa went in with her engineer, and mapped their path to the command deck, it was a race and she would have them get there before they knew what was happening.

Fort Minori
Underground Command Bunker

Intel analysts and operators could be seen scrambling around the command center. On a massive screen in front of the rows of computer consoles was a volumetric display displaying the location of friendly units and the location of observed Kuvexian positions or their movements. "I swear, if you write down these numbers incorrectly when I tell you them again Santo-Hei, you are going to wish you never left your vat!!" one could hear if you focus on what is being said.

Behind them, a female raven-haired Shosho stood was taking it all in alongside a tall Type 33A Joto Heisho. "It is a colossal clusterfuck out there." she simply remarked to her Senior Enlisted Advisor. "Aye, but the 75th Legion's Corona Gunships are giving our infantry the air support they need. See that opening right created right there by that last strike?" the Heisho points out on the smaller volumetric display in front of them.

"That is just what those squids want you to think, armor and heavy infantry elements were observed to be there in waiting. We will deal with those fools in a bit" she replied back before reaching down and tapping on an icon for the 75th Legion's 3rd Rentai (Regiment). She moved her finger backward to create a fallback order for the unit's Chusa to follow. She then tapped on their 2nd Rentai and swiped to make a flanking order to attack the Kuvexians that would no doubt chase after the 3rd for glory points.

She then zoomed the perspective of the map to Fort Minori. The Kuvexian airdrop had created chaos and the ability to attack key infrastructure. At least the opportunity at least. But she was not going to let them seize it if she had any say in it. She tagged a number of locations that hold strategic value to their defenses as objectives. She then tapped another location as a rallying point in an attempt to organize the soldiers at the fort. Something she was well aware of would be a challenge that would be since Fort Minori at its core was not really a fighting base. Sure a number of legions were stationed within the fort, but its primary function was for Star Army Personnel Command. It was a city full of soldiers leaving the military and those just transiting.

"Once G/75 is done delaying that Kuvexian force for Legions 400 and 376 to get into position, have them rally at this position. We need to rally these support soldiers and prevent the Kuvexians from establishing a beachhead within the base and accessing to the train terminal. I rather not have to destroy those lines to prevent them from accessing the fleet depot. I am requesting the 72nd Legion to advance to the Fort Minori and 80th and 210th to cover their old position."

"As you order Shosho!" She says before bowing and making her way to a terminal.

Stabaron bei'lifir

The raging street to street combat was desperate and the eager Stabaron could not wait another moment to let only his men partake in such rich glory. Seeing the many helpless Yamataian soldiers run, hide and some fight back. It was hard to believe they had been winning the war." Attention all professional Soldiers! First to bring me both armored prisoners and information on supplies, gets a promotion and more than just your combat pay. All Rixxikor are to swarm the enemy and all infantry and grab tank elements, begin the next faze of the assault. Glory will be brought to you all in the next life!" As he shouted the orders over their airways, the gold power armoured Stabaron stood from his transport, accompanied by his personal guard. With a laugh they began to make their way down several blocks, engaging Yamataian citizens and soldiers alike. His soldiers gunning down anyone deemed unworthy to fight their employer.
As they continued w wounded Yamataian without power armor stood with a blade in one hand and a small aether SMG in the other. Making vain attempts to fire on the group, realizing the weapon was empty. The Nekovalkyrja darted forward only to be easily partied by the admiral, motioning his men to stand watch as he chuckled, set on toying with his kill." If you stop now I'd make you a cheap slave, to serve however you're told. It is an honor really, one day you might even repay the debt back that you'd owe." He laughed once more as the desperate Neko spat."you think it's that easy for you to crush us? We will do more than die fruitlessly for our empire you Bastards!" As she screamed her last words, her hand lifted the blade lunging Forward with great speed, as she did so her blade made no connect as the trident esque spear ripped through her throat, as one of the soldier notes a power armored soldier and two standard soldiers near by. Bei'lifir laughed retracting his spear wasting no time to round the few curves of the once shining streets, now covered in the dead, rubble and picked with the craters of explosives from both sides.

The major kuvexian Army amassing from the transport ships had now began to move with a division of grav tanks led by a mixed conglomerate of mercenary and Rixxikor soldiers, all shouting about the ease of taking the fort. Celebrating too early as they continued to push into the fort now making a mad scramble to locate any power armored soldiers to defeat and capture.

Location: inner city

Several groups of scouts and regular kuvexian infantry began their work, now sending broadcasts of false troop strength and radio chatter, as they continued to look for any major locations for what their Stabaron had asked. Knowing the promotion would be sweet. The remainder of soldiers already engaged, began to feel the force of their hubris, taking heavy casualties, their lines breaking into pockets of small heavily armed infantry and heavy infantry all pressing the current Yamataian lines, attempting to regroup and repel the counter offensive.

The rixxikor horde began to finally dwindle, many holes being broken in their lines, finally providing a brief respite. If only for a moment, seeming cut short the horses began to be gunned down in a hail of concentrated either chainguns fire and massive blasts from the main guns of several crew mounted aether cannons that had been established specifically to break through the makeshift beachhead. 2 full companies of gold power armored soldier caste- Infantry and their Brutish heavy compatriots were now pressing hard to break the Yamataian line on both fronts. Now occampanied by two Kuvexian officers in silver armor with on large gem in each helmet, calling the orders from the rear, keeping an Entourage with them.Sending massive waves of Aether, as if a wall of sheer death and destruction fell onto the Forts barricades.

From on high the companies scout detachment was providing, informations of weak points, acting as forward observers as additional blasts came quickly after, beginning to cripple the anti air and personnel guns that were causing so many casualties, and profit lost for their allies and employer. Keeping the additional forces inside hidden, searching for intelligence to report back, executing anyone they found, ensuring no witnesses to sound the alarm from within.

Lord Admiral Bustenas Vlon Spaarksnuffer, knew it was time to leave. The Kuvexian Imperial Navy had lost the initiative, the reinforcements hadn't arrived, the Star Army had been stronger than expected, and the numbers of ships lost were starting to climb much faster on the KIN side than the SAOY side. Furthermore, there was a fresh fleet of thousands of ships minutes away at Yamatai system, waiting to pounce. His flagship was heavily damaged and staying any longer risked not being able to leave at all. It was time to call it.

"Initiate a tactical withdrawal," he told his advisor. "All Navy ships depart as soon as possible, at their discretion, and meet in the..." Bustenas looked at his map. Nothing really looked good to him. Almost every way out meant going by some enemy systems. "...Ayano system. Make ready for space fold!"

"Yess, meelord," the advisor said. "...and the Army ground troops, meelord?"

"We simply do not have time or resources to retrieve them," Bustenas shrugged. "Oh well," he added, with a hint of a chuckle. "They'll just have to be respawned. Oh, and don't tell them we're leaving, we want them to keep fighting so our kill count is maximized."

"Yess, meelord."

Nataria Space

Something like 90% of the ships that had entered the battle were now dead. The Eucharis had escaped the fleets that were now shrapnel and made it to Nataria, where the gunship was a welcome sight in the skies of Nataria, strafing some of the enormous hordes of Kuvexian ground forces and chasing down Kuvexian fighters to swat them like insects. As the ship approached the Fleet Depot, Hanako transmitted Charisma's piloting program and put the depot's maid droids to work as Corona gunship pilots so they could do air support for the Star Army's troops.

On the bridge, Hanako started seeing reports of Kuvexian Navy ships retreating and escaping. "I was really concerned it would be us," Hanako admitted to Blackberry.

"Mmm," Blackberry hummed in reply. "What a mess this is."

Terminal velocity freefall was a need experience for Egwene. She was getting a lot of flight data from it, but that didn't stop her worrying what might happen if she hit the ground without recovering. Fortunately, her suit was designed for atmospheric flight, and TONY was a well programmed little dear, so she managed to right herself and slow her descent past what would be inimical to her and her suit. Though, she didn't land softly, and if she had bones they would probably be broken. Perks of a mechanical existance.

Taking in sensory data and feeding it into her computer system, she took note of the enemy infantry surrounding her and shot a pulse out of her palms to throw herself backwards lifting her feet up once she was in flight and aiming the four repulsors at four separate targets. The sudden impact of Egwene's arrival stunned the troopers long enough for her to get the first shot off, and these kind of weapons made a mess of foot-slogging infantry. Landing on the ground, her feet slid up and blasted another pulse at the ground, throwing her backwards into a kneeling position from which she fired off another pair of shots and dealt with the last two who had their guns raised at her.

Such extensive use of her Repulsors was taxing her now unsupported reactor, and she needed to find something to ease the strain while it recharged, but that little bit was excellent for her mentality.
#TONY that was so cool! We were like blam pow! You are the best MI a girl could ask for~# Egwene said, grinning broadly behind her suit as she went over and scavenged the weaponry. Wasn't quite quantum foam generator xasers, but more simple projectile rifles. Which was fine, she could use these to a varying degree.
#Your flattery is appreciated. I may learn how to blush soon# TONY replied. While he seemed sentient in times like this, Egwene was well aware it was just a large and well made databank he was pulling from after analyzing the conversational cues. Though, a girl could dream that she had made him well enough those banks would let him evolve one day.

A second squad of Kuvexians, no doubt coming to investigate the noise of Egwene's landing, appeared and opened fire on Egwene as they had a better grasp of the situation than the one she got a drop on. Their bullets slammed into her armour and made a mess of it. Not quite high caliber enough to punch through right away, she'd rather not stand in the firing line and find out how long it could last. So she turned and squeezed off the two guns mags while hoofing it to cover. It wasn't very accurate, but helped pin them down, and when she was out of rounds she hefted the guns themselves at the buggers.

Safe for the moment behind the burned out wreck of an assault vehicle, Egwene's sensors were picking up heavy fighting inside the fort she was outside of. These guys were probably the rear guard, or the reinforcements. Or the cowards. Either way, she'd get into som fisticuffs with them rather than trying to fly inside and make a mess of the whole situation. She wasn't sure the fort's defences were still working, but would rather not risk her ass on the off chance their IFF took a disliking to her.

YE42
NSN Commander Irene Barná
Task force 74"Ravage Hunters"
Carnivore Class heavy cruiser
NSS" wrath of Nepleslia" (W.O.N)

The orders had been broadcasted over the communications systems, hearing the Grand Admiral and Rear Admiral instil a healthy dose of positive Morale, especially with the intense fighting, the Ships Capitan, a stern grizzled old Naval veteran. Capitan Amir Al Yusef, stood at the observation deck, listening to the crew scramble to respond to commincations and the possibilities of enemy fighters." Keep the ship on her current course, and fire all long range weapons into these gold plated containers of money loving squids! Load all 3 mass drivers with a Blue payload and 3 with our penetrators, we know how badly they ask for death." He barked, clenching his fist the orders relayed flawlessly to the gunners.

A few moments later, a volley from port to Starboard erupts watching three massive trails slip through the chaos hitting the shields of a smaller kuvexian Cruiser. A flash could be seen as one of the tungsten cylinders found its mark, causing a large explosion from aft of the enemy ship. As he gave orders, the newly appointed commander wasted little time relaying information to and from neighboring ships and to their admiral." NSS Venom Assembly, this is NSS Wrath of Nepleslia. Be advised, we shall continue long ranged support of smaller craft. Capitan Al Yusef has begun long ranged volley fire-" as the Irene gave the information over the comms array, the ship rocked, as alarms began to scream to life.the communications officer looked to the array and back to her XO, knowing the massive rocking of the ship was a direct hit."already!? Damn those squids they don't waste any time." She sighed in frustration, attempting to process formulate a response." Warrant officer, how long with the comms systems take to get running?" The woman looked back to the communications system." Ma'am it could take quite some time, though we could interface from the ward rooms comms and back door , to the other ships." Irene looked back to her Capitan as he made his way over to the comms station, helping another sailor to their feet. Commander, give it a shot and I'll make sure we avoid any additional damage for a time. Get moving and relay orders as we prepare to hunt that ship and it's escorts. We can't let the cats have all the glory!" He barked again tightening the fist as he looked back to observation, "ACE, give me proper adjustments from the last volley and movement parameters, to begin search and destroy mission." As he spoke to the system, the Commander nodded making her way to the wardroom was longer than it ever felt before, in an almost full sprint she knew time was not to be wasted as the enemy was everywhere, and this time they weren't just mercenaries, it was an intimidating fleet. Seeing many begin to flee from the bridge, the crew began to cheer, before several final massive beams erupted into the shields as one landed into the starboard side of the observation deck, blasting a massive hole into the ship itself. As the emergency systems kicked in, the Capitan and half of the crew on the bridge were launched into the vacuum of space, as the ship dropped to emergency power. Right as Irene made it to wardroom, it seemed to have been a break of pure luck. The Warrant officer hailed the comms coming through static and broken, gasping for air as the bridge began to close the massive hole to allow cabin pressure and oxygen to return." D...direct....hi-.........bridge........" Silence.
"Dammit! She screamed, slamming a fist into the conference table as power was rerouted to essential systems.

"Hello, Sargeant Callen!?, Status report. Say again you are broken!"

In between heavy gasps the Sargeant responded weakly." D- direct hit...to...to...the bridge..starb-..." As she spoke, she finally collapsed, now blind and unconscious due to the pressure change and the beam ripping into the ship.
Irene gritted her teeth before hailing all open Nepleslian channels.

"Attention all personnel, and Rear Admiral Glover. My name is Commander Irene Barná of the NSS wrath...Wrath of Nepleslia, our Capitan has died and we have taken heavy damage to the bridge, status unknown at this time. I am assuming command of this ship and will provide a proper status report upon return ing to the Bridge. Power has been redirected, we may be slow moving for a time but engines are not harmed it seems. Continuing operations until ordered otherwise, we won't let this damn squids off that easy!"

Santô Hei Russ Tycho

Russ had just arrived in the target location and had missile tone on the target. Just as the lock went on it triggered off and he was greeted by a explosion of the bulk transport. Being barely able to pull away he just skirted past the explosion. He only was able to catch a glimpse of it as it smashed into another transport before finally resting on the ground below, its deadly cargo cleansed in the fire. Saying a prayer to the solider who gave his life to the empire he was ready to get back into the fight.

As the pilot got ready to join in the fray he was surprised when the radio kicked in and a open comm showed up. It seems joyful with a hint of frantic to it "This is command to all surviving members of Stopgap and Retribution, fallback to rendezvous point Zelu and await further instructions, I reapt fallback to point Zelu". Abit surprised at the command he did as instructed. Pulling away at full burn and thankful for no pursuits. As he spend away from the air combat zone he looked behind him to see if any one else had survived the ordeal. As he looked he saw no further explosions but also no mindys or even aircraft it seems he was the only survivor.

As he settled in for the long flight to redezvous point he tried to put his mind at ease of being the sole survivor of that aerial battle.

NDS Shield
Bridge

Within the bridge of the Albion-class NDS Shield, Captain Corrin sat calmly in his chair and watched the battle unfold. The stellar distances meant that he was viewing things minutes behind, watching a battle unfold that he very much wished to be part of. Every ship lost was a small stab in his side, even if it had been lost sometime in the past. Time slowly caught up as the NDC's fleet closed the distance.

The Conclave had managed to pull five of their heaviest ships away from garrison duty to defend their ally. Other, smaller ships, were positioned about them. A paltry force compared to the masses of ships that were present, but it represented nearly a fourth of the young empire's fighting force.

Even then, it had taken time to get the ships to a point where they could make the jump, crawling at STL speeds out of the system. The captain shook his head at the thought; they would need to be better prepared next time. After the recent Kuvexian actions within the NDC's territory, it was clear that they could no longer quietly focus on their own problems.

The one thing they had going for them is that the small fleet was not that far off the path that the Kuvexians were attempting to withdraw along.

"Albions," Corrin began, holding down a button to speak to the fleet. "Prepare Main Cannons. It looks like the enemy is retreating, so let's see if we can finish a few of these ships off before they get a chance to fold out." And maybe we can take some more heat off of Nataria...

Orders flashed across his screen as the bridge crew coordinated firing solutions and flight paths. Corrin watched as the other ships flipped their readiness indicators to green. He nodded. The minutes crawled by as the ships got to just within range at the periphery of the Kuvexian force. The strike forces in the super carrier's hangars were ready, but he didn't want to risk those just yet.

"We don't know much about their capabilities, but let's not give them a chance to strike back for free. When we're not firing, let's fall back out of maximum range. Main Cannons- Fire! All Scythe-class, Fire!"

One AU from the Kuvexian's fleet, the five capital ships unleashed their primary weapons. Their lances of plasma poured forth towards some of the weaker withdrawing capital ships; each potentially lethal enough to destroy the largest of vessels outright (T15). Twenty Scythe-class cruisers joined the attack, beginning a steady stream of antimatter warheads (T12). These were targeted at smaller capitals and any ships that began to show hostile activity towards the NDC's small fleet.

Now, they just had to wait. It would be nearly a minute before they could fire the Albion-class' main guns again.

KNS Badh Hakdezzia
Bridge

"Why have we not yet joined the others, Bleex?" the Comptroller-Baronet Atroniuz Surafta asked delicately from behind where his pilot stood. He'd been roused from his glided throne only a moment before. The Lord Admiral's orders had come down two whole minutes ago; the Badh Hakdezzia was both behind schedule and over budget, and that simply would not do.

"You told me the collision did not impair any major systems," Surafta whined, sounding betrayed by his trusted adjutant Bleex. The spindly teal-skinned Comptroller gripped the silver baton that identified his station in both hands, nervously twisting it under his clammy fingers. "Bleex! The Duke High Exchequer will not forgive you if I am stranded here, even considering how we killed that spook boat."

The Kuvexian cruiser rumbled as it continued to rupture and burn, torn asunder by the YSS Yorokobi's impact and Yamataian starship guns now that the tide of battle had turned. Only the Baronet, Bleex, and two security soldiers remained on the bridge. All the others had gone out to keep the ship from burning up. The sound of small arms fire grew louder with each passing moment, which didn't make sense to Atroniuz Surafta whatsoever. There'd been no alerts from ship security regarding any boarding parties.

"We have lost contact with another damage control team, your excellency," Bleex replied, not vexed by the Baronet's manner while he kept his gaze locked on the volumetric display in front of him. He was a strong warrior, tall and well built. Having been Surafta's valet for decades the man knew what duty demanded of them both. "Your ship ha—"

"The Duke High Exchequer's ship, Bleex! He's only loaning it to us for this battle!"

"The Duke High Exchequer's ship has lost faster-than-light propulsion, your excellency," Bleex continued, outwardly stern and unafraid. "Do not fret, your excellency. The mercenaries will protect us to ensure their prizes. We will get it repaired with haste."

That promise seemed to quell Surafta's concern for now. The tension in his shoulders relaxed and for one brief moment, the Comptroller-Baronet seemed satisfied with his lot in life again. Then came a sudden, terrible sound from the direction of the bridge's entryway, far louder than even the collision that'd happened earlier. There was a bright flash that overwhelmed Surafta's senses alongside that deafening screech. When he regained his senses, he saw a smoking chasm where the ornate, bejeweled blast door that once protected this place once sat.

Then came the shadows. The two bridge guards in Kuvexian Navy dress uniforms stood poised and ready to defend the Comptroller, their weapons ready for any target that dared to invade. Death came for them nonetheless, unable to reflexively catch the trio of optically camouflaged Mindy 4 as their SAINT operators swept through the smoke and ended the Kuvexian defenders with a quick twist to the neck. The two Yamataian power armor that had taken care of Surafta's bridge guards shimmered into full view when they made their strikes, armor panels black as night, while the third armor deactivated its cloak and kept striding toward the Baronet.

Comptroller-Baronet Atroniuz Surafta stood confident before these new darkling assailants. While this moment was far from optimal, excitement filled his body. It would be a great honor to be ransomed back to the Kingdom! He clutched his scepter tightly as the black armor approached.

This Star Army thing barked some sounds at the Comptroller in a tongue that barely sounded Kuvexian.

"Reverse payments!" Saiga-chusa demanded in Kuvexian from within his black Mindy. His manner of speaking the enemy tongue ugly and rudimentary, and probably really stupid sounding, but it was intelligible enough. "Chargeback your mercenaries!"

It was intelligible enough to make this Kuvexian nobleman's pet soldier pissed off, at least. Although Bleex did everything he could to remain subtle, his big body moved too obviously and had to move too far. And so by the time Bleex turned to fire his golden holdout pistol — a little damascened heirloom depicting the capitol system, awarded to his great-great grandfather by the King himself — Kiriko had already picked his throat out with her AIES and fired from her spot by the door, ending the Kuvexian man's service to Surafta and the Royal Exchequer.

Surafta's silver baton clattered unceremoniously to the ground. Disbelief quickly turned to anguish on his face, but Saiga-chusa only gave him time enough to let out a yelp rather than descend into incoherent screeching. The SAINT officer was upon the Kuvexian Baronet, now, and lifted him up by the back of his collar.

"Hope you're not planning on making me repeat myself again," Saiga warned with Yamataian words unintelligible to Surafta. He sounded amused; Kuvexians weren't much harder to carry around than a Nekovalkyrja, and they were even shorter. "Kiriko-juni over there is pretty pissed about how I got her ship crunched," he added, rolling Bleex's lifeless body off of the console where it lay before pushing the Comptroller's face into its interface terminal. "So you'll answer to her if you don't answer to me."

Surafta wailed, having never smelled anybody's blood before much less had his cheek ground into it.

"Chargeback your mercenaries!" Saiga repeated again, back to speaking rudimentary Kuvexian. "Now!"

The petty Kuvexian nobleman flailed his arms around, pinned down by his neck to the standing controls. His hands scrambled up to input some commands, doing everything he could under the circumstances. Saiga, Kiriko, and the third operative watched the main viewscreen, where what looked like some kind of ledger had appeared.

"That's it, Chusa," Kiriko said, far better at understanding Kuvexian than Saiga ever could be. "He's accessing payments and processing for their allies."

Rows and rows of Kuvexian numbers scrolled past, all of them changing with each second and in real time as mercenary payments, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements were recorded and accounted for. When the symbols changed from a sky blue to burnt orange on the volumetric display — the same point at which Surafta began slamming his hands and repeating the Kuvexian word Saiga understood as "THERE!" — Saiga knew something had happened. He just hoped it was something helpful.

"Looks as done as anything's going to get here, Chusa," Kiriko confirmed.

Saiga peered around, still holding Surafta down despite total victory. The Baronet still seemed to expect something that escaped Saiga, with the whole expectation to be ransomed lost in multiple forms of translation.

"That an escape pod?" he asked, picking up the silver baton that had been so carelessly discarded. Kiriko nodded, and so the Chusa picked up his Kuvexian captive again and dragged him across the deck and opened up the pod's hatch. With a shove, the quivering Comptroller was made comfortable in the lifeboat and given back his shiny stick. "C'mere and tell him what we used to tell the Mishhu."

Kiriko tilted her neck in response to her Chusa's request. She knew better than to ask him if he was actually bloody serious, instead simply shaking her head while walking over. He'd make it an order if she didn't — she knew it.

"We are immortal and, for today, you share in our good fortune," Kiriko said in Kuvexian more perfect than what Saiga spoke.

"You s-s-speak Kuvexian!?" Surafta stammered, suddenly totally incensed that he'd been treated at all brutishly. "You will contact your superiors and ransom me a—"

Saiga slammed down on the escape pod's external switch and sent Surafta off. Whether he made it back to the Kuvexian fleet to tell the tale was irrelevant with the books balanced. It was time to leave.

"Alright everybody," Saiga announced over a comms channel that put him in touch with all of the operatives he'd brought aboard from the Yorokobi. "Get off this ship and regroup with the task force or whatever surviving Uchuugun formation you come across. Fortunes guide you all."

NSS Pimpilicious

"We've lost linear navigational systems on top of it all," came a distorted call from the helm. Blinking in and out under the cracked panel were the now-unintelligible diagnostic's rotating list of failed or failing systems that created a bright teal echo of light around the void of darkness in the bridge. "Bridge, respond," came the voice hurriedly. "Bridge I repea-"

The soft noises of coughs and mumbles not unlike those heard from sleep made their way out of the wreckage on the bridge, but not the comm panel of the helm station; which now was a small glow in an otherwise bleak bridge.

"Bridge, please respond!"

With a grave clash of a pale gloved hand on broken glass, an officer rose. The stability of the saber in her off hand seemed to give momentarily before the wobble righted and the hunched form rose while one index finger moved marginally to press a working button, internal comms.

"Prepare the escape pods and abandon your ship with the coordinates for your home, Nepleslians. We are done he-" the words gave way to a heave that gave way to a spattering of blood. Now glowing intermittently with a splattering of dim red light, the panel could only light Violetta's tongue as it flicked out to grab at the blood pooling at the corner of her lip, from where the trail down her neck now began.

"Come ah-on..." Violetta mumbled tiredly as she began the methodical task of checking pulses and rousing those alive.

Mikael shut down the left forearm emitter that generated the biconvex dome-shaped shield when the last of the Rixxikor were dealt with. He gave the La Rostislavovna-hei a nod of the Keiko's head before force speaking over comms. "This sector is clear for the moment, small universe." he replied, both to her question and acknowledging her presence. If the Keiko could smile, it would be doing so right now. But it does not, so he instead opts to turn to face the cooks.

"The enemy breached Dining Hall #3 via the civilian delivery loading dock gate! My section needs help!" the Phodian spoke. The neko just frantically shook her head yes. "Fine, fine, I will relieve what pressure I can on them so that they can escape." He then looked to La Rostislavovna. "If your team can spare the time, please escort these two to the rally point Shosho Shimura has designated." he said, sending an encrypted package with the coordinates to the Neko cook and La R.

"Mizumitsu-hei, Kamiya-hei; you two should be armored up by now. Double time and rally at entrance 2 of Dining Hall #3. There are more Rixxikor to purge." Mikael sent an encrypted message over PANTHEON to his makeshift fire team. Once the message was sent, he looked back to the La Rostislavovna and the cooks. "Stay safe, I am on this frequency should you need any help. We have already lost too much to the Kuvexians today. " he said before raising his weapon and made his way to the dining hall.

The two Hei floated out of the armory in older Mindies, blasting a Kuvexian that was lurking and made the mistake of peeking. 2 additional Mindies tagged along with them, moving with a sense of purpose not usually seen with the average Rikugun soldier. As the majority of his processing power not dedicated to fighting was analyzing the large amount of sensor data coming from the TQP sensors to gather intel on the inside of the dining hall, he only noticed them when he was about to make his brief.

"Nito Heisho Jiang and Itto Hei Tanaka reporting. Nice to see you again outside of the swamp." a familiar voice said, pre-empting his question of who they were. Tanaka-hei was an unknown to Mikael, but Jiang-heisho was his enlisted advisor during the fly phase of SAIC's Special Warfare Course. By the books and quick to anger.

"You will take the lead of these three then. Mizumitsu-hei isn't Giretsu, but she has been in some tight spots according to her personnel records." Mikael says, with PANTHEON being accessible once more. "I am sure she will learn on the fly, yes? Now, this is a simple breach and clear. I cannot contact the cooks to let them know what is about to happen. But hopefully, they catch on quickly and drop to the floor. I have identified 10 hostiles based on the energy of their weapons and their mass. No power-armored foes, though I detect a number moving this way. Cloak and I will draw their attention. Enter on my mark."

"If you surrender now, I promise you can continue your occupation as slaves. One of you look decent enough to be my new personal cook." the sole surviving Kuvexian officer spoke in near-perfect trade before cackling as there was no other choice for them. The surviving cooks and their chief had gotten themselves cornered by escaping into the dining hall's freezer. Tenacity is great, but tenacity with just knives and depleted NSP is nothing.

Before any of them could answer, a huge crash could be heard from the side entrance. "It's a big one! It's mine!" a Rixxikor yelled out as it witnessed Mikael's smashing his way through the door and activating his left forearm emitter's shield once more. He walked with some speed towards the growing number of Rixxikor looking to get the kill since killing a rare Big Boi meant more points for their leadership board.

Though not that it was going to matter much for them, with his shield failing and having the majority of the Rixxikor laying it on with the anti-personnel weapons Mikael simply said "Mark." Like Ghosts, the three Giretsu soldiers simply moved with speed and precision they were trained to do, the Rixxikor were no more. It was so quickly done, the Kuvexian came out with his two reserve Rixx to only watch them drop and witness the four decloak with their weapons aimed at his head.

"You might want to surrender." Mikael spoke over the loudspeakers of his Keiko in rough Kuvexian. The Kuvexian immediately threw his hands up, he was intelligent enough to live another day. Mikael then turned to look at Hiroshiko. "Mizumitsu, find the cooks and prep to escort all of them to waypoint Gamma." he said as he kept wondering why her surname was familiar until he remembered the clerk he met years ago on leave. But he did not get to think too much on it again when he got a ping and a simple chibi of a shinobi suit-wearing turtle appeared to him.

Oh no...

"I almost didn't recognize you in that big boi armor, Dread Pirate Jones." the chibi spoke with a text bubble. Mikael just mentally sighed and replied, "What do you want?"

"I have a hit package for you. Well not just you, I am sending his location as I monitor his movement. But for old times sake, how do you feel about capturing their commander?"

Most of his ships were out, his carriers were pushed back, and yet holding the line as Gustav looked at his display that sparked a bit from the damage that his ship had to deal with. He saw that most of his allies were getting hammered by the enemy and he needed to make justified choices right now "Sir, we are detecting that enemy are pulling back" An officer said the sentence he needed as he stands up "Then let's make sure they don't come back! I want the Cobra's and Atlas to combine forces and aim at their cruisers, Send out the order to the carriers to provide bomb runs to disable their engines!" The bridge was a mess, wires were hanging from the sealing, screens were broken, cracked and some even destroyed by overloading.

"Sir we are receiving a message from one of the Carnivore ships..." Gustav nods as to make it heard...

"Shit..." Gustav brought out "Put our remaining Jackdaw back to protect our support line... Tell Wrath of Nepleslia that their spirit is high... an honor to them, but I need that ship active so pull back to defense lines" He narrows his eyes "Fuck Yusef, told you to be careful crazy bastard" He blinks as Gustav notice a status on the screen "You got to be joking...Status report on NSS Pimpilicious" The officer enlarge the image and status besides it "it won't hold for long..." Gustav wanted to slap his face and nods "Shields up, intercept course to the Pimpilicious NOW! I want Carnivore and Punkbuster to cover our tracks!" Gustav walked to his chair and sat damn while pressing the comm "Admiral we will cover your retreat...now be glorious and don't die on us" He said and sends the message to Pimpilicious as the ship began to shake heavy "Alpha-Echo-14 maneuver, hit every f*cker that is shooting on Pimpilicious, protect the escape pods!" The Venom Assembly pushed through the enemy ships as it used it front to push a few destroyed ships aside opening fire on every incoming fighter and enemy corvette providing cover on the Pimpilicious.

Munemitsu echoéd through her helmet and she simply acknowledges it stepping in a combat fashion backward. The battle was far from done to her opinion as Yoko saw her leader do the brave thing on his own "And here he tells us not to be heroes" With that lifting her rifle and opened fire on the weaken Rixx that were confused about the counter-attack. Yoko used the helmet assistant locker to aim better and shots a few Rixx through their skills as their lifeless bodies dropped to the floor. She shrugs as another popped at her side "Fuck..." It was a Kuvexian soldier that kicked her rifle out of her hands and grabbed her from the back.

She gave him an elbow "Let go...you ...bastard" Another elbow to the helmet that cracked as the Kuvexian trembles backward on his feet. Yoko sprinted to the man and gave him a shoulder to his lower parts lifting him off the ground and right into the wall that broke as the two fell over the open hole into the next room. She bold her fist and slams a few times into the helmet as it breaks up. The man was not ready to give up and pushed her aside to roll onto her and puts both his hands together to slam into Yoko, she dodges on time and slams into his side and again as she quickly grabs her knife and shoves it into his ribs, again, again...as blood came out of Kuvexian mouth that dripped onto his display and dropped at the side of her "Bloody fucker..."

Captain Corrin and his crew watched with grim satisfaction as the withdrawing Kuvexian ships lit up under the NDC fleet's combined firepower. They'd lost two Scythes in the exchange, but had done far more damage than they'd taken. That fact didn't improve his mood; something would need to be done to justify their losses.

As the Kuvexians began to withdraw further out into the system, he decided on how to do that. "NDS Scarlet Shadow and Resurrection," he began, addressing two of the remaining Scythe-class ships, "Stay behind and conduct salvage operations. Let's see if we can get a few of the more intact ships back to Sanctum. Maybe their systems or survivors can give us some clues about the pirate activity we've been dealing with."

The affirmative came back. A few of the Scythe-class had a portion of their fighter compliment replaced by Remoras. The little craft had been brought along to help bring back the fleet's damaged ships; using a few for salvage operations wouldn't hurt the fleet's strength overly much. He trusted that the captains of those vessels would take all appropriate care in the process.

"All other ships," he continued, "we're continuing towards Nataria. Sensors are showing that some of the Nepleslian ships may require aide; we'll provide what we can without delaying our approach towards the planet."

The fleet began to move once more. Corrin discussed the state of the system with the bridge crew. There were differing opinions on how best to proceed; some of the crew felt that the entire fleet should move to assist the Nepleslian ships. Others felt that Nataria itself was a higher priority. The captain drummed his fingers, trying to decide how to proceed. He wasn't an admiral - the NDC's fleets were too small to have many of those, yet - and in that moment he had a greater appreciation for the types of decisions people with that title had to make.

He sighed and made up his mind.

"Correction, fleet," he began again, "We'll be assisting the Nepleslian ships as a priority."

His crew sent over to new course information and a general outline of their battle plan. They'd be unleashing their fighters and mechs, the bulk of their fighting force, for this mop up effort.

Corrin looked to his comms officer. "Open a line to the Nepleslians."

The officer's hands flitted across her console. She gave the captain a nod when it was done.

He stood, putting on his best stoic captain impression. "Nepleslian fleet, this is Captain Corrin of the NDS Shield, acting commander of the New Dusk Conclave fleet within the system. We're moving into position to join your fight. Sending over IFF information now."

The transmission stopped; he wasn't sure if they'd get a response, but he hoped they wouldn't be fired upon. One of the downsides of showing up to a party late was that you had to make all of your introductions the hard way.

Corrin looked at his map of the system, eyes lingering on the beleaguered planet of Nataria. It hurt him to slow their approach, but he had to acknowledge that the Nepleslians had a larger fighting force within the system. If the NDC's ships could help tip the scale and free up their ships, then Nataria would have that many more defenders.
