"Ah Sorry for the mistake." Bors said raising his hands to Cheiko before she scampered off to go do medical things. Folding his arms again he leaned up against a nearby wall. "All these talks about pills and stuff, I swear if emp blasting is the way to kill it im gonna laugh. Still if it bleeds we can kill it"

Medical

Chiasa was more that a bit disappointed at the state of the medical center. Clearly years of dealing with NH-series life forms had caused the medical personnel to become complacent. But that was a problem for the Commander not her.

Chiasa walked over to Elina and popped the pill that she had taken out of the CD case earlier and put it into her friends mouth. She picked up a glass of water and leveraged Elina into a vertical position. "Drink" she said in a clear, commanding tone.

She looked over at Takeyu, "Sir, to do what you are saying and generate an EMP field of a low intensity to kill the virus but not damage the ship means that we will have to have personnel sweeping the vessel from stem to stern. Since an EM field generated decreases in power by inverse square we will have to station the sweep teams to provide ample coverage to ensure complete effectiveness. A missed area just means a resurgence of the virus."

Ume found herself recovering, though still a bit groggy. She sat up and glanced around, still keeping herself connected to the game she was playing against someone, and she wanted to know who it was exactly that she was playing.

Elina took the pill and swallowed along with the water. Within seconds as the pill's components dispersed within her body. She stopped bleeding as the crawly feeling faded away and the familiar itch of her body kicking overdrive to repair the damage. Eyes became more focused.

She gave a sigh of relief, beginning to feel more like herself. "I'm starving. Food please." Looking hopeful at Chiasa with a gratitude. She grabbed the glass of water from Chiasa's hand a bit greedily and downed the remaining water in the glass. She had her fix. Looking around for the rest of the pills and something to eat. Even if it was garbage or someone's forgotten sandwich, she was going to eat it as her body needed the materials to help it repair itself.

Now it became clearer why the Moonies and her survived. The NMX knew that YSS was going to make an effort to recover this sector and had let her run the radio station in Moon Town 2.

"Gotta inform the Ship's Captain to prevent the other ships from leaving! This was a ploy to get their newest bio-weapon spread out amongst the Yamataian Star Empire! A plague!" Elina looked hopeful at Chiasa. "Also inform your SAINT officer or Liason."

Engineering

"Know better then what, Ma'am? We have been fighting for the past hour and a half to get the Aether Generator back into alinement's with the mounting rack. It was out of alignment over three decimeters. We have it close using a lift system, but for the last few millimeters it has fought us. The rack might be warped a little, we were hoping to get it to pop into place well enough to get us back to the base." Huey responded looking a bit annoyed the new lead just walked in and with out waiting for a sit-rep jumped her and her fellow crew.

"We will get to work on the conduits." Turning away from Kumiko and spoke to her peers, "Come on we got hoses to recheck and make sure they haven't gone gunny-bag in the past few hours." She and the other two marched off to the Engine room's locker bay to get suited up.

As Kumiko pulled the expectation plates and the plugs from the main assembly, she found plenty of smoke staining and damage to the main body, but there were plenty of parts that have been replaced or rigged to temporarily get the drive up and working. The trio had spent the bulk of the past three days getting the generator back up to running state. The only thing left was getting it back into alignment.

Meiko turned and headed towards her station. She wasn't much help with the technical aspect of this, and she felt more than a little proud that she had helped the ship the way she did, but she had a new job, she -must- make the vaccine into a gas so that it can be distributed through the filtration systems. Luckily, Chemistry was one of the few things she was really good at, and as such she was more then capable of it... as long as she had a little bit to spare. She looked towards Elina in the process as she moved and points at Takeyu: "There's the captain right there." Then began making the inhibitor, once she had a large amount of the liquid she began the long, and arduous process of forming that liquid into a gaseous form. It would take a small amount of time, but it would be done.

"Agree'd, once we have the gasous form ready for dispersal we can start to arrange people into teams to begin sweeping the ship," Takeyu said to Chiasa. "We also won't leave the system until we are 'certain' that everyone has been treated, no point sweeping the entire ship only to miss one person and end up being responsible for a viris spreading," his tone turned a bit grim at that, it was a natural concern for him - as he didn't want his first command to go down in history as one where he allowed the Empire to get infected due to negligence.

"Hmm?" Takeyu's ears perked when he heard Meiko mention 'captain', "Something wrong?" he asked and looked between her and Elina.

Chiasa turned to Takeyu. "We need to check with the rest of the fleet. Any vessel that took on moon town personnel has probably been exposed to the same pathogen. As she said no ship in the task force should be allowed to depart until we can confirm that there is not contagion there."

Elina nodded towards the man everyone referred to as the ship's Captain. "From what everyone else's been saying. The NMX don't take prisoner and keep them living as long as they did with us Moonies. So it had been a ploy to induce a plague into the Yamataian Society. Whot better way than through its Military. Everyone knows that Soldiers aren't at their brightest ..." Seeing the glares from those around her, hastily corrected herself. "... I mean, heavily distracted after an encounter with hostilities. They would assume you would pick those of us wanting to leave the Moon and drop us off on the nearest planet to resume your patrol. What ever you guys do after a battle. Maybe chase the rest of them down."

"Once our little packet of pills were gone or not able to have access to them. We'd probably die just as the unknowing victims of the plague we spreaded unknowingly amongst the population as we traveled to meet up with kin and family." Elina spoke thoughtfully.

Medical

Seeing that everyone else was now getting themselves figured out, Chieko then returned to the office to see what her own work had been producing.

Medical

Through a bit of work, the gaseous form was completed she took a breath and sighed rubbing her head looking more than a little tired, she stood up and contained the gaseous form in something that would hold it and stood up. She moved over to Takeyu and handed it over to him and closed an eye before rubbing the back of her head. "Here you go...Just go to the filtration system and release it into the airways and let it do its job, it'll disperse all over the ship.."

She looks at Chiasa when she mentions that for a moment and paused, before looking at Takeyu again. "I can make more if you need me to, or I can write down the formula for both the liquid and gaseous versions and you can distribute them to the rest of the fleet...either way is possible." She said, looking towards Elina for a moment. "...Devious NMX bastards..." She muttered before moving over to Kioko and Ume, with a smile, first hugging Ume and then Kioko. "I'm glad you two are okay...I was afraid I might not have made it in time..." She sighed a bit.

She then turned to Kana and Isrun before nodding. "Alright...I need you two to follow this formula." She walked to her station and wrote down the formula she used to make the liquid and then form it into its Gaseous Form. "We'll need more then just what Takeyu has to filtrate the entire ship. So if you two could produce this as quickly as possible, it would be in our best interest." She hands the formula to Isrun and Kana.

Ume hugged Meiko in return and glanced around once more, taking everything in and seeing things were getting better but still not done. "Is there anything I can do? I'm not good at science stuff, but I want to help."

Medical

Kioko jumped and let out a startled hiss as she was hugged "Oh Meiko, I am sssorry, I completely zoned out there" she giggled and hugged the girl back "I was thinking about random thingsss, I am sssorry I haven't been helpful to you, I can help now though."

Engineering

Kumiko nodded, satisfied that she wasn't seeing any further damage - or at least, no further damage that couldn't be compensated for by the AIs. Now all that was needed was to get it back into place, and that was simple enough, given the capacity of the ship's remaining functionality. "Jane, confirm all systems are locked down if they're affected by gravity. Once you do that, go ahead and get ready to toggle local artificial gravity off on my command, and stand ready to re-enable it as well."

She glanced back over her shoulder at the others. "Gravity is toggling off in just a moment, get yourselves situated now. Shouldn't have it off for too long." That said, she contacted Takeyu again as well. "I'm going to toggle gravity off in the Engineering bay shortly, not for long. I think most of the problems are quick and easy, but the aether generator frame might be a bit messed up. Should be able to get that sorted shortly, one way or another. I'll let you know if anything changes."

Kana took the formula and began looking it over. It seemed sound enough; however to manufacture sufficient amounts quickly would require the Science Lab to be operational. The pink haired Neko then went through the specific equipment needed and what was still serviceable.

"The product should be effective enough," the chemist then began, "However, we need replacements for our equipment in Sciences in order to do this quickly. We'll also need to ask Logistics about what kind of per-cursors we have on hand."

The energetic Neko then looked over at Chiasa, "Juni, I need to make a nodal system requisition from Engineering."

Medical

Chiasa was grateful that the discussion had moved against EMP solutions her systems were well designed, but anything as complex as her body subjected to repetitive burst of EMP without additional shielding could be damaged.

She turned to attenction to Kana, "Getting this medical situation resolved is priority one. Proceed with your requisition. Post Haste."

She looked Elina who seemed to be doing better for now. Obviously the pills were a suppressive factor rather than a cure. But she was grateful for that much.

Medical

"Hai, Juni," Kana replied before turning to Isrun, "I'm sending you the precursor tree. The fewer steps the better; but if you have to substitute, you will need to make sure everything to cover that step will need to be found."

The frosty-haired Neko crossed her arms and frowned, "I did take basic Chemistry. I'll find it all."

"Excellent, let's get going then!" the pink-haired Neko cheered before running off; her teammate leaving slightly less enthusiastically.

Corridors

On her way to Engineering, Kana began to think about the time needed to put together all the different machines needed and wondered if a few substitutions could be made there. The various processes were quite specific to ensure it would work out well; however, there was usually a way to do it that may technically take longer, but the machine that does it would take much more to make. That was when an idea came to her and she instead ran to the Cargo Bay.

Cargo Bay

Getting to her destination first, Isrun encountered Hotaru and began going through what on the precursor tree was still available in ship's stores. It took some digging, however it was not long before they had everything but one item, and they were as far down the tree as they could go. Thankfully, the frosty-haired Neko recognized what its common name was and could distill it out of a ration pack.

That was when Kana arrived shouting "Eureka", then plowing into a lecture on the ideas she had come up with on her way down. The precursors met her approval, and Isrun's substitution idea got the pink-haired Neko especially excited. All they needed to worry about was Hotaru's doubts about how they were going to proceed.

It did not take the chemist long, however, to begin collecting things from kitchenware to weapons stores and setting it all up. Eventually the apparatus was set and the two science Nekos worked to create the formula and pump it into what was meant to be a fuel tank. Then Kana fixed a flamethrower hose with switch, to the tank, and a shower head to the end of that.

"And we're ready!" Kana called out in triumph, "Help me lift it onto this dolly, then we an start spraying!"

The pair then managed to get the fuel tank strapped to a hand truck and prepared to go. They would open up the hose and start spraying the gas everywhere - staring in the Cargo Bay, and working their way around. When they ran out, the would go back down to make some more, then continue from where they left off. It seemed crazy, but they were efficient about it.

Medical

Takeyu leaned onto the table and stared at the progress being made. "Let's go ahead and distribute the current formula that we have through the ventiliation system if only to give a temporary stop to the virus, once the others are ready we can disperse the remainder to hopefully kill it off entirely. Also, keep a note of the formula in the logs so we can submit it to command, they'll be able to mass produce it and then have it stored on every ship in the military 'just in case' it is ever needed again."

He turned toward Jayne. "Disengage the filtration system please, we'll begin dispersal shortly. Monitor levels in each section please so that we can be sure that it is being pumped in adequetely."

Hearing what Kumiko was saying was a bit worrisome, if the frame was damaged in anyway that could poss a future problem. "Which means we'll potentially need to replace that framework entirely when we get to port, very well; I do need you to monitor the life support systems while we disperse part of the cure please. Let me know if anything goes wrong and keep me informed on repairs please."

Med Lab

The slide that Chieko had sprayed down with the Hymospray started showing signs of the virus being destroyed. With the electronic parts dead the Hemosynth was able to start doing what it did with any other biological virus. Soon the slide was completely free of live viruses. the rest of the slides didn't show much, though the one from Elina showed leavings of the pills she had been taking. It seemed they were keeping the electronic parts turned off with pheromones.

Med Bay and other areas sprayed down.

Jayne blinked and tilted their head for a moment before responding the the Captain, "Filtrations systems are shut down. Atmosphere systems have been rerouted and sped up to increase distribution speeds."

The people that had been injected, along with the ones breathing in the gaseous form of the inhibitor, all started coming back to their senses. The head aches bleeding and the rest of the symptoms all started to fade away. all but Misato, who's, because of the lose of the arm, body had been working overtime trying to fight the virus and rebuild the arm. She was so far gone that the injection killed the virus, but the virus had rendered her too weak to ever recover. Her vitals started slowing even further and now they were reaching the red line.

The rest of the crew were all up and moving trying to get their work completed before the injection/spray wore off. They moved quitclaim trying to seal the last of the haul breaches, and getting the last of the power relays fixed so that once the Aether generator was back up on-line they could jump to help.

Medical Bay

Meiko took a breath looking at Kioko and Ume for a moment before nodding to them. "Alright help me make sure everyone is comfortable as they recov-" She paused as she heard one of the health monitors start beeping, she quickly looks around for a moment noticing that Misato was flat lining. Her eyes widened for a moment as she quickly moved over. "What the fuck!" She says in a growl, she looks towards Takeyu for a moment, before looking back at Misato her eyes narrowing. "Gods be damned...Ume, Kioko, get me some Hemosynth, and the Defibs." She looks over Misato and quietly checks her eyes and breathing before checking her pulse as well. "...Damnit, Her bodies overworked itself recovering from the virus and lost arm...we need to keep her heart consistently beating so that her natural healing mechanisms can take over once they recover."

Meiko moved over while Ume and Kioko got the Hemosynth and Defib, and quickly gathered a breathing machine and attached it to her face so that her lungs keep working. She grumbled lightly.. "This is my fault...if only I was faster.." She muttered and gripped the table awaiting Ume and Kioko.
