A ground breaking ceremony was held outside the civilian half of Kyoto today. This site is to be the primary campus for the new Yamatai -Scientific Studies Service (Y-SSS). Professor Saiki Kouan the newly appointed director of the Y-SSS presided over the ceremony which was attended by several other dignitaries. Her Majesty Empress Himiko who granted the Imperial Charter for the new service was unable to attend the ceremony due to her duties at the Second International Relations Conference. After a period of relative quiet from the Star Amy's Third Expeditionary Fleet, Taisho Nakamura Miku today held a short press conference with a few fleet aides to announce recent restructuring to the fleet as well as her plans for the future. In a small private ceremony on board Gemini Star Fortress Ketsurui Katsuko was named the Commander of the SAoY's Seventh Standard Fleet.
