Today it was announced that STAR ARMY tied for second place for SCIENCE FICTION RPs in the latest Members Choice Awards over on RPG-Directory! RPG-Directory is a forum where roleplaying forums like Star Army can list themselves to help people find them. Their member's choice award is a themed competition run by their staff where their members can vote for sites.



Thank everyone for being awesome! Being awesome is why we're able to win these and it's always nice to see Star Army...

 

I've made some important changes to the wiki:

• CCG namespace removed - all character creation guides will be in the normal guide namespace
• Wiki Front Page - currently being revamped. All the lists of links are being moved into the sidebar by category
• Category pages are in in the root namespace.
• A new Guide page has been added that lists all of SARP's "how to" guides including character creation ones.
• Templates for wiki pages are now all in the templates: namespace.

Recent site updates:

• Added dokuwiki plugin that allows export of wiki pages to text. It can be used by adding &do=export_text to a page URL...

 

On our wiki, registered users can now rename/move pages without breaking backlinks. Previously, moving a page required asking me to use a tool in my admin control panel, or manually deleting and re-adding a page and then fixing all the backlinks, so this should be a big help, especially for those of you who create articles and want to move things in and out of the wip: folder.
