March 4 is International Game Masters' Day. Thank you to all the GMs out there running RP plots, entertaining fellow players, and expanding shared imaginary universes. Your consistent presence and enthusiasm is what makes roleplaying games successful and brings NPCs and environments to life.

If you've ever been a GM, you'll know there can be a lot of work that goes into it, from researching things from both the RP setting and real life, plotting out a storyline, and writing up fun posts...

 

Site Supporters, FMs, and GMs may now create sub-accounts if they want to post under another username. For example, if you ran a XYZ Megacorp in the RP, you could create an account named XYZ Megacorp and use it for your posts about your new products.

This year's SciWorld Online Convention is the last weekend of April, from 23/24th to 26/27th. It's an event where roleplayers get together on IRC and share knowledge. I've represented Star Army as a panelist in the past and I'm thinking about signing up for some this year.

Here's some panel ideas I had:

• Forum Feedback: In this event, forum owners compare and contrast each others' boards and provide suggestions to each other on visual appeal and layout.

February is just around the corner. Shall we do something special for Valentine's day? When's the last time your character had a little romance? Is there someone special she has her eye on? Soon it'll be time for feelings and "shipping!"

So post your ideas for SARP Valentine's Day events here. It's a good excuse to do anything love-related.
