Here's some guidelines for the use of signatures on the Star Army forums:

1. Please don't use font sizes, colors, or faces to avoid the forum's standard signature style.
2. Limit text to 4 lines.
3. Limit images to one line, with the images kept shorter than 175px in height.
   
4. Signatures and and links they contain should be work-safe.

The ideal signature tells people about your characters or your role on Star Army and is hopefully shorter than your average post.

XenForo Updates

Star Army updated to the latest version of XenForo without issues and also updated...

 

Although it was delayed this year due to a transition to a new judge team, the 2013 Simming Prize results have come out and Star Army is an awardee! We're the only organization that's won this year. For those of you who don't know, simming is a lesser-known synonym for online text-based roleplaying, which is usually used in the Star Trek roleplaying community, which calls plots sims. Did you know the new forum allows you to set a status for yourself?

If you click or hover your mouse over your username (near the search box), you should see a box for your status in the dropdown menu. You can enter statuses up up to 140 characters, similar to Twitter.

Status updates are great for:

• How you're feeling
• General life events
  
• Letting other roleplayers when know you're out of town
• Promoting your RP thread
• Quotes
• News for plots/threads you're running

In order to prevent confusion, please include the location of your RP post at the top. For example:
