OOC Black Knights/Byakuren Discussion

I am unsure if Reika and Fuyu are already on first name basis with Shinon, so I just went with Shinon's general politeness and had her stuck to surnames and -san.

I can't entirely take credit for Hinoto's speech. It's adapted from something I thought was really cool some time ago, and I wanted to use something much like it for that very moment.

Kotori is now confirmed as a Romulan.

That's it. Unmask me, you party pooper! :D

Well, the message I wanted to make was one I was hoping would be about as stirring. Well, tried to reword it so that it'd sound like Hinoto talking rather than me paraphrasing the thing.

@Fred

I wasn't sure what kind of walls the room had, so I'll edit if need be. With these walls, I know it's a possible risk to be seen (and shot through) them, but I also assume that the opacity can be adjusted, even considering how much can be seen from one side to the other.

EDIT: I held posting those details for now, not in a rush.

You're likely dealing with three walls of the conference room as being make of metal. I mean, it's a space station. In the shipyards it probably feels more like being in a spaceship than the usual building.

The four wall is the transparent durandium one, with matching door. Presently, it's not opaque. People needing to come in and shoot would have to get this far in a highly protected Ketsurui Zaibatsu installation. Hinoto is in her own office, and threats would have to enter the office first. So, turning the 'windows' opaque wouldn't have much point.

+1 to that.

Also, and I don't know why, but I've just realized something the other day. I had somehow been subconsciously thinking of Nao as the person assigned to the unfortunate role of Butt Monkey, and had been plotting 'bad' things happening to her without even realizing that I was, or even why. I suspect it's for the lulz however. Realizing this, I will say it now; anything and everything bad happening to Nao is ok, so long as it's entertaining and/or humorous to watch the poor girl suffer.

Now I don't think that's necessarily true. Nao just makes it easy to be the one to be picked on, especially when she chooses to be the target of a chair.

She's also adorable, which is fun to poke at.

Shotjon notified me that he used the term 'bolted' mistakenly - he meant 'blurted'. Meaning, Shinon had not stormed out of the conference room.

I edited his post, and the few others after that, to account for Shinon still being in the conference room.

I find this mistake humorous.

Sorry about the sloth in my reply time. It's K's weekend, so I'm spending time with her. I'll try to find time to reply today, but likely it won't be until tomorrow.

Not a problem. I mean, today was when I made a plot-advancing GM post (I try to do that every 2 or 3 day to make sure slower posters can keep up), the rest before was really just info-dumping. Also, the last Yukari post had her ask Tom a question, to which he hasn't replied yet.

Tom, you're kind of at the lower extreme of the slow posters. Think you could check in and contribute a bit more actively, please?
